hi everyone. So today, we are doing a very exciting video. In this video, we are going to be doing a deep dive review of Lucy in the Sky. Every time I say that, I want to keep going. I want to say Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. It's got to be a play on, right? This is a brand that you guys have been asking me to review for so, so long, so we're finally getting to it. They make beautiful party dresses. They're designed in Los Angeles. So if you're new here and you haven't seen one of my in-depth reviews, we will try the product. Of course, I'll give you the full scoop, the price breakdown, but also we're going to go into ethics and sustainability. I feel like as a consumer, you deserve to know some of that information, whether you find it important or not. You can skip this section. Certain brands we found with this in the past keep kind of that situation under lock and key. It's not like public knowledge. A message to All Brands out there, if you're doing

something good if you produce your stuff ethically. If you're making an effort for sustainable fabrics, you should put that on your website so that the consumers know. No extra extra small, extra small, small, medium, large, extra large. This is not size inclusive. It looks like the smallest size is an extra extra small and the biggest size is an extra large. I'm genuinely shocked by this because this seems like a decently big company. They have over 400,000 followers on Instagram. I didn't even think I had to check. Okay, so here we are on the website. There's a sale going on. When I purchased all these dresses for this video, this sale was not on. One like one print. This gives a pretty good idea of the types of dresses. There are lots of those like clubbing dresses, also these really pretty long ones, really highlighting the prom and graduation. Okay, where do you source your styles? All of our styles are designed at our offices in Los Angeles and produced exclusively in-house domestically and internationally. We are

not doing wholesale at this time. So again, highlighting that it's designed in Los Angeles domestically. So I'm assuming they produce in Los Angeles as well as internationally, which could be anywhere in the world. It's just not specific enough to me. If you're going to say where it's designed, also say where it's made. Mini length, zipper closure, tie straps, fully lined, sheer. Hand wash cold. Where is the fabric? They don't say anywhere what material it is. Oh, here we go. Made in a crepe fabric. Okay, that one says the fabric. How do they decide which one they share the fabric and which one they do not show the fabric? Because I'm guessing when we unbox it, it will say the fabric. Okay, this is one of the dresses we actually purchased and it says Made in cotton fabric. So it seems like certain ones they share what the fabric is and certain ones they do not. I have a slight hunch. I must check this dress. I must know. I'm so confused. So while I was filming this video and I checked this

specific dress says it's made of a cotton fabric, but as you can see on the tag, it is 100% polyester. Now that I've had some time to think about it, I really do think that on the website they just say what the fabric feels like, but more often than not, it's just polyester made to feel like that. This is polyester that feels like it could be cotton, so they just say it's cotton. This is the type of thing I literally would have never noticed unless I did this video, and I have no idea if it matters to any of you. Maybe I'm just on a useless mission right now, but I feel like I found a discovery. I'll check more of the materials, but I'm going to guess most of these materials aren't considerably sustainable. I have a feeling we're going to see a lot of polyester, but the dresses are around $49 USD, and I would say for dresses like this, that's decently affordable. I mean, the designs are pretty detailed, you know.

each one's very different. They're really pretty. It'll kind of depend on how the quality is, but based on face value, I would say that these are priced well. But yes, that is all for ethics and sustainability. We can basically just put a giant question mark over all of this. The only thing they really want you to know is it's designed in Los Angeles. You guys know I will absolutely review any brand that you want. I want to give you the full scoop. I want to waste my money so you don't waste yours. And I totally understand not everybody's worried about ethics and sustainability when they're shopping. Sometimes they're just looking for something affordable and cute, and I understand that. Anyway, now we are going to see what's up with these dresses. Now I am no stranger to, you know, sometimes brands send things in multiple packages. I'm used to that. I've had that a lot. I've also gotten customs on so many packages, but I didn't expect one dress per bag. Why? Why? 80% of these packages had their

own individual Customs on them, which was anywhere from $20 to $50. I understand that Customs is not the fault of the brand, but because they were all separate packages, I had to pay Customs on every single one. It was crazy. It was like every day a ding dong, ding dong. What is it? $20 owing. Oh, is it a Lucy in the Sky? Yeah, it is. Okay, this dress was $59 US, by the way. For the product details on this specific one, it says made with mesh fabric, which this is exactly what I thought it was before. It's 100% polyester. Even on the model on the website, it looks like it's going to be quite sheer on the stomach, and I think that's almost the point. I will say for the material, it's nice and soft. I'm going to put it on now. This one doesn't have a zipper or buttons or anything. You just got to like slip into it. I did break a few seams on the way in, but here I am. So, exactly what I was thinking. It's

more opaque up here, and in the Ruffles, and then it's more like it's like a sheer mesh. Like let me show you my food baby in mesh. I'm going to name all the things I like, and then I'm going to tell you what I don't like. I like the thin little dainty straps. I like the ruffle. I like how it goes down here. I think that's really cute. Okay, now it is extremely short, and I was expecting it to be short, but it's so short on the back. My butt is like so dangerously close to being out. Like this is the bottom of my butt cheek right here. And as I move around in the dress, it kind of pops up. It's like wanting to rou its way up even higher. And now my butt is like straight up out. Like if I had to pick something up, I'd have to go like this. Yes, if you heard my knees cracking, they do that. It's not the type of dress you can flail around in without

flashing people, but I will say the mesh is very soft. I think it's giving very ballerina. Oh, this gold dress, it's a strapless dress. I feel like it's going to lay like water. It reminded me of what's that movie. It's got, what is her name, she's on Bride Wars. Oh my gosh, you guys, it's like the color of my skin. Oh no, it looks so pretty online, but I'm not really giving in. This something about strapless also makes me feel super ripped. Granted a steam would help this dress immensely, but I do kind of want to show you them out of the bag just because I feel like if you bought this for a wedding and then wore it, I think as you sit, the crinkles of you sitting would stay in the fabric. I don't feel like it's one of those Fabrics that would be like wrinkle-free. I'd say the best part of this dress is how shiny it is and also the back. I find the back to

be quite pretty. I just would have to not face anyone. Just I'd just be like this all night when I answer questions. I just go no thank you yes please. So because the back is so cute and it has this part, it kind of flares out on the side. Can you see that these pieces right here? I don't love that, but that's me being very particular. Beautiful sage green alert. This is like one of my favorite colors to wear hair all the Fabrics have been so different and so unique. Like this one feels almost cold to the touch, super stretchy. It's rou the whole way through. It really feels like a dancing dress to me. This one actually feels really well made too with the rou and the fabric is thick and double lined. So I'm not worried about it being see-through. Oo, okay, this is giving very like Tinkerbell. I love, love, love this color and I really like like this Rouge. And then here's the back. It actually really feels like when I used to figure skate.

this is like a type of competition dress, almost look at how beautiful the top is, and it's so many tiny little roues, and the fabric almost feels like athletic fabric. It's so interesting. I thought this dress was so beautiful and so elegant. This blue so pretty. Oh my goodness, wait do you see how thin that fabric is? That's kind of my concern. I just feel like that's a little too thin. I just thought it was really pretty, okay, I just thought it was so pretty. Oh my gosh, this color is so pretty. So here it is from the front. It's definitely giving nightgown just laying on me. I did think it was going to be a little bit of a concern for opacity, but now that I have it on, I think it's a deep enough color that it's not a problem, but the back is the moment you're going to want to see. I feel like it has to be a braless moment, otherwise it defeats the backless moment, but it does make a statement like I turn

around, I'm like, Oh my gosh, my entire back is out, and this beautiful bow on the back. It's all very effortless, yet a lot of effort. I'm a [Music] fan. Okay, for this dress on the site, it says it is made in Los Angeles, and on the tag, it says designed in Los Angeles. Okay, now I'm really getting confused. I'm getting scared and confused that I'm like shredding them up for saying designed in Los Angeles 'cause that's not the same as Maiden. Me assuming they're lying, but then again, if I'm confused, other people are probably confused, so maybe they should just make it more clear. I have all these dresses in this Rubbermaid, and I need to see something. This one does not state where it's made. This one doesn't say where it's made either. This one doesn't say either. This one doesn't say either. This one doesn't say anything, doesn't say, doesn't say. Here is our first made in Los Angeles one. Doesn't say, doesn't say, doesn't say.

made in Los Angeles. Our second one does not say. Out of all of the dresses that I got, only two of them are actually stating that they're made in Los Angeles, but I needed to see because as I was editing, I was getting more and more confused. This is 100% polyester. It's got a big high slit on it. It's a very, very soft stretchy fabric. It's definitely going to be see-through. You can probably see the back. See, firstly, I had a feeling I was going to love this color, the like eggplant purple. It's really, really pretty. It's one of those Regal colors that I feel like I don't see that much, so when I do see it, I think it's really pretty. I also want to note that I like this neckline. It's kind of like a wraparound moment, and then on the back, you just tie it up into like a little bow, and the rest of it hangs down. It's quite elegant, but it's also risky because holy crap, this is a high slit.

could flash someone for sure if the wind chose to gust so don't do that. It's like a slight problem, but then once there's the second, the back is less of an issue. Something to note though, I do find the fabric very, very soft. It definitely shows every bump, every nook, like I'm wearing a g-string. For this TMI, but I didn't want any underwear line to show, and look, you can still kind of see it. That's how not forgetting this fabric is. Look at this gra. This is the dress that I actually thought was the other dress, the first one we tried on. It's basically the same situation, but it's long. I honestly don't know why I got both of these. They're pretty much the same dress. Oh my, wait a minute, is this right? This rou and this one is double lined, but then this one isn't. And I feel like it's supposed to go past my, you know, but it's not exactly. I feel like this opaque part should go a little lower. Is it the same issue on the back?

it is the same issue on the back. My entire butt crack is out. You guys, I don't feel like it's extremely well fought. I don't like this one. Not a fan. Okay, next. When I bought this, it was $40 US. It's this Emerald cutout dress. Okay. Hm, my bra is throwing it off. Reveal nothing. I hope you're hungry for nothing. I love the color. I like the shimmer but overall not a huge fan. Not a huge fan of this one. When I was shopping on this site, I was trying to find some dresses with long sleeves because you guys know I love dresses with long sleeves and there sure wasn't very many with long sleeves but I did find this red one. Originally $59 and it's this like nice glittery shimmery fabric. I would bet my life this is polyester. Okay, 100% polyester. Yes, I live to see another day. This is really pretty though. I'm excited to see this one on. I mean why wouldn't you love a dress with a big sleeve right? You could

drag it through some guacamole or something like in most of the videos that I've been doing lately. I give away most of the things I review to some VI, which has been super fun, and you guys seem to be really enjoying it. So I'm of course going to give away all these dresses that I try in this video, but I do want to keep one of them, and I want your input on which one I should keep. And I'm saying it right now because I really like this dress. I don't know if I would wear red, but maybe this would be the dress. Let me know. Wait till the end of the video and let me know. This one feels quality. I like the ruching over the bust. I like how it comes in. I like how the skirt's full and double layered. I really like it. I thought this dress was so beautiful.

it's actually a romper, but it's like classic summer dress vibes. Look how cute this is. This is interesting. This one, this was one of the pieces I thought I was going to love the most because oh, that was scary. That looked scary. I was trying to show you that it's a romper. There are certain rompers which I love, and there are certain rompers that I think make me look like a giant 10-year-old. I'm not 100% sure on this one. Rompers make it so that it can be really short, but you feel like you don't have to worry about it 'cause this is definitely shorter than some of the other ones I've tried on, but I'm just not stressed about it because I could flop around. It's a romper. It's making me look really young. I'm not sure. Thought I was going to love it, but I don't know. [Music] Oh my goodness, this dress feels horrible. This one says taffeta fabric. This one looks a little better on than I was

expecting it. I really love a high neckline dress, especially with structure to it like this. It really accentuates the bust and the waist. This one, my biggest issue is the fabric. You guys heard what it sounded like, but it just really feels low quality. It's disappointing because this fit and structure is something really to be desired. It almost feels classy. I'm noticing how many of these are actually really open back. See, it's like a very big scoop on the back. I had to shove my bra down into there. I think most of these dresses would be better to wear without a bra, which that can be a struggle sometimes for little boobs and big boobs. Silhouette on this one is a 10, fabric is a three. Unfortunately, this one needs some work shopping, but I feel like investing some time in a better fabric for this one would be worth it. It's very pretty, okay, like nothing else we have tried on. This is very unique. Fabric is so nice and soft. It's very, very thin, extremely thin, but it is soft like a

suede here's what it looks like on the back classic casual Romper. I probably could have done without this little pinhole here. You guys have told me this so many times, and I hear you. I'm not shaped like a baddie, we all know that. I'm a twig, but I don't feel like dresses should be only for one shape, okay? Whether you're thick and juicy or a stick or anything else, anyone can wear things, okay? I like the fit. It's actually pretty comfortable. I just think it's a little strange. I can't even really put my finger on it. I've tried on so many things at this point, I just don't love it. I have no other explanation. I actually bought this dress in a large because I thought maybe you guys would like to see my mom try one of them. I know some of you always say I'm shaped exactly like your mom, so seeing her try on the dresses is very helpful. So this beautiful, beautiful sage green one-shoulder moment is for her to try on.

it's so stretchy. Look at this, super super stretchy. It's one of those fabrics that's so thin, it's definitely going to show every book book in Cran nook and cranny. It's one of those fabrics that show everything. Oh great to be excited. It's very like grabbing me. Oh my. Oh hey. It's cute. Oh my God, that is such a high slit right. And then the back is a tie up bow. Yeah, like that's kind of it was very low. So you'd have to feel like constantly adjusting. Like it feels like you would have to be constantly checking. Like am I out? Am I literally flashing everyone at the fun right? You couldn't just like walk around freely and zoom around. And this is kind of loose here too. It's tight in all the wrong spots. Okay, then we have this blue dress. This one feels like a tablecloth. I imagine it's actually going to look pretty. I just can't believe how beautiful they made this look in the product photo. It looks soft. It looks

nice. Like these photos are almost catfishing me with this one. It looks like it's going to be like a shirt. Okay, this is kind of giving me selky Vibes, selfy on a budget. It's got that bodice piece, and then it flares out. Some of the Ruffles just flare up so high that if you were even eye level, you could see under my dress. I will say the fabric actually looks a lot better on than it did holding it up. It's still very wrinkly and kind of feels like tissue paper, but for some reason, it's working. I feel like if I sat for any length of time like this, I would stand up and the yeah look it like stays out. Believe it or not, I actually ordered this white one. This one says the estimated date of shipment is May 2nd. I'm filming this on June 19th. I have a bad feeling about that. Okay, that dress did end up coming. It came end of June, I want to say, but this one did say it was

supposed to come beginning of May, so way over, but at least it came. It's a little wrinkly, but it is here. It's got like this almost cheesecloth liny feel to it, and it is actually two layers of the skirt. I am glad about that. Stop it right now, this feels high quality. This is how you make a piece that feels quality. This feels like it could be from Reformation for sure. The fit is perfect. I love this. Here we've got a few little sewing errors, got to cut that off. I love the sleeve, how it's pinched and then it gets bigger. It is a little bit of a backless moment, ignore my bra. Okay, this is by far my favorite. Remember when I told you guys to vote which one to keep, what do you think? This one, maybe not trying to sway you, but maybe this one, 'cause this one's cute. Why aren't they all like this? Okay, and then this white and black dress. I wasn't expecting it to be like a satin.

like fabric, but here we are, anything with a bow on it, sign me up. Okay, if I see a bow, I want it. Ooh, wait a minute, it's kind of squeezing my arm a little bit. Just this little thin strap, but I'm going to ignore it because I actually think it's really cute. This like champagne soft satin look, it's very elegant feeling. The big black lace on the bottom and this fit, the final two are probably my favorite, honestly. Okay, that was a little bit of a roller coaster. We had some good times, we had some bad times. I don't even know how to like wrap this up. As far as the dresses are concerned, I would say the quality is good, not great, but good. Do I think it's a dress that will last you 10 to 15 years? No, probably not. I think a lot of their designs are very, very pretty. They're designed in Los Angeles. Still a little confused on the whole design made in. I think some are made in Los Angeles, some are not. The ones that are not, they
