Hello and welcome, Exiles. Uh, it finally happened. We did void the trickster, and it was basically due to um, uh, stupidity, not knowing the mechanics well enough. And for this one specifically, that little slam there, I am now 100% confident, is a spell. This is slam. I have tanked thousands of times on my Affliction trickster back in Affliction league and on this character this league. That slam never hits me for more than about a third of my ES pool. And I think I know why. It's a spell. This map I was running was cannot suppress. I have always thought that that was an attack, that thing that he uses. I always thought was an attack. I never thought it was a spell. And so I still, I had full confidence that was not going to one-shot.

me. I've seen it hit my ES pool for at most a third, usually less, usually less. And that right there completely obliterated me in one shot. Now granted, a lot of times, normally I proc Immortal Call, and I kid you not, when that slam went down, I was in the process of pressing my Immortal Call. I don't know if I missed it by a mill, 100 milliseconds or what, but I was in the process of pressing my Immortal Call. I just mistimed it and cost my character. That slam right there put us down for good, which is unfortunate because I had a lot of mid-maxing plans. I'm going to go through what we had on the character, a little post-mortem look. This character was very good. I had a lot of fun with it, and the maxing process was just, it was taking off. So in the end, we had a mirror-tier bow, which we mired, and had a 150 DFE. There's a guy that's doing a service for us. There's two bows.

there's one from TFT and one from a basically some independent project. That's the one we ended up mirroring. We had one before that we bought was the TFT bow. We sold it back so we could mirror this one, which is slightly better. And then we have on our Gear 30 quality eles ciret, basically perfectly crafted triple T1. I just hadn't defined it for 600 es. I made a bunch of jokes about settling under 600 es. I always plan to divide it and uh well rest in peace that's not happening now. So good biches ciret. We have the Simplex with the percent in the damage per in. We have the 30 quality necrotic armor with triple t1s, not really Divine perfectly, but eventually I was going to upgrade from this. We have helical rings with plus a minimum endurance charges and almost 250 intelligence. And we have one with the reflected Fizz. The importance of this is it procs our armor energy Shield Mastery for 5% recover. And that Stacks so every

single attack that does hit us gives us 5% of our ES back. We had, of course, a Mage Blood with percent INT, and we had some good Warlock gloves and boots. This character, I estimate the value, we also have Sublime Vision and a few other valuable items as well. I estimate the value of this character somewhere around five, uh, maybe six mirrors. There was a lot of investment put in. Now, that sounds like a big number. I want to stress a large amount of that value of the character was number a things just going up in price. For example, I bought Sublime Vision for 50 divines. It's worth 200 now, or whatever it is. A lot of these things were bought early because I invested early, and then it just took off in value. So, a lot of that value is basically just accrued from stuff going up in price. And number two, it is also because I made a lot of money with this character, actually in-game, right now. Still have 800 divines in my stash, and I have a uh

one passive voice. I have a lot of value that was made in fact in the last 3 days. I think I generated about five mirrors from doing voided Maps. Voided maps are very, very profitable. You can run a map that takes you 3 minutes and make three divines. That's a Divine per minute. Or you can run some dangerous Maps, some high-risk maps, and you can clear it in 15 minutes and make 100 divines. That would be like a mage blood map or a nimus map, some of these harder maps that have pretty big profit margins because they are so dangerous and so difficult. So I'm not hurting for currency. It's not the end of the world. I had plans to Maxis, which I'm going to go into, but don't feel bad for me. I'm very excited about making other characters. This was going to be a long drawn-out project, which I wasn't going to be able to make a lot of videos on. I wasn't going to be able to make um, you know, there's a lot

of ideas I have. I like to make a lot of variety of characters, and this was going to take a lot of time. So, you know, dying isn't the worst thing. Granted, I love a good max project, but I am not necessarily bummed out. I mean, I'm bummed out, but not really, if you know what I mean. I'm excited about the next character. That being said, I want to talk about some of the plans I had to invest and upgrade this character real shortly here. I'm just going to say apologize because I've been sick the past few days, and my throat's a little bit scuffed up, so I apologize for that. As for mid-maxing the character, we were about a 25k ES. You know, I was planning to go for 30k ES, and I had some plans for that. Number one was going to be adorned. It's still very, very good. I'm still fairly confident it is correct, and that was going to be using

two implicit Jewels. I was going to go for attack speed during onslaught, and I was going to roll the second implicit for INT. I was going to go for two implicit jewels. That was going to be a huge investment in a huge amount of bird killing and a large time thing, but it was going to be part of the Min Maxine because with one passive voice, 100% adorned, I believe we could still easily clear that 30k. So that was a part of the upgrades planned. Number two, outside of this, this was going to also upgrade a bunch of attack speed, which is one of our weakest points. We didn't have a lot of attack speed. Our only attack speed source was basically just our Onslaught flat. That's not much, so this was going to be a massive DPS upgrade. For full disclosure, I think our damage was somewhere in the range of, I want to say, 25 to 50 million. I'm not 100% sure. I didn't really po it, but from what I can tell, I did some T

testing with tornado shot. Tornado shot hits with basically every single area arrow, which is more than I thought, more than I was told. I did some testing in standard, which I can showcase later, but it was cranking out some pretty good DPS considering the amount of tank it had to go with it. Now, that was one step. I was going to be adorned a future step that was also going to be on the table. I had an actic base here, 30 quality with 8% attributes. This is the hilic unveil. You have to recommon to transfer this over. I was going to fracture that mod, and I was going to go for the 12% defense enchant. That would have been, I believe, probably a th000 es upgrade by itself, getting the extra 20 in the extra 2% attribute, and the extra probably 50 es and 100 evasion I'd get from the 12 enchant, and divining a little bit better. That was going to be a sizeable upgrade. The other thing I was

going to change about this chest piece is I was going to go to Arctic armor effect. If You Don't Know Arctic armor effect is very strong for extra tank. Arctic armor has its base 20% Dr. You can get like 25-30% Arctic armor buff effect, which gives another six-seven additional Dr to your character. Very strong when you're talking late game tank. Would have made probably the difference in tanking that slam versus not tanking that slam. I don't think it was very much of an Overkill. I think that guy barely, barely killed me even without the suppress on. I'm still, I feel like maybe it was a crit. I don't know man. I'm still baffled that thing killed me. That being said, that was another upgrade we were going to do. Now you know we had Max fires previously. If you looked at the PO, you would have noticed we were overcapped by like three max fires or four Max fire R. This was because I was running maps with reduced or effect. I could run a map with

100% reduced or effect, and my character would lose nothing. I was over cap for max res specifically for those map mods to be basically a non-mod to my character. My only Aura was Purity of Fire. The only thing it was giving me was Max res, and I was overcapped for it, and that was very intentional for those map mods. I was going to swap the max res, and you're thinking you lose Max res. Well, adorned, you can roll up to two Max res on adorned, and that would allow this, um, that would allow a rare Jewel with 2% Max res to go to 4 Max res. And you'll notice on this character, I also had two Max RS from the boots. And if you're counting, you're trading four for five, and that would take us down to 89. I have a plan for that as well. I was going to link in power to my Purity of Fire, and I was going to Quality my Purity of Fire or my Sublime Vision or Divine it up to 40%, which would mean 40% would

give us two Max res even when we had 100% reduced Ora effect, which would cap us at 90 regardless. And the reason I say that is because these boots were going to get swapped out for boot inst stack boots. I was going to synth a percent in flat and Max endurance charge pair of boots, which was going to also increase our damage reduction. The late game of this character was going to have five, maybe even six endurance charges if I anointed it for more damage reduction. Very important for tank. Also, percent in flat int boots is a very substantial upgrade over these. I was probably going to roll them for INT Abyssal socket and Fire Res because I wanted to have some overcap for curses and other debuffs that subtract res. Things like the formed Phoenix, they reduce your res, and you need to be overcap for those. And that's part of that preparation of things I was going to craft and mmax on this character late game if I got around. Now, this is talking really late game.

and this is a min-max mega DPS upgrade, but it costs a fortune. I was going to try to farm enough locks to go for an all-positive ring with crit multi, all-attribute int wed, and the minimum endurance charge. That is an estimation cost of like anywhere from 80 locks to like 500. It is ridiculously overscoped and probably something I wouldn't farm realistically unless I got this character really good and I could crank out the hardest Val Maps. Which, with the upgrades to the Adorn setup, I believe I could start doing tormented less 90 very consistently. I could already tormented fairly comfortable is less 90 would just be the scenario where I have to tank it consistently for a duration of time. I could do a less damage map in about 5 minutes currently on the setup, and if I got the adorned, which would over double my damage, that should be able to put me in the range of comfortably doing those um tormented Maps where I would need to be. I was basically on the edge.

of comfortably tanking a lot of tormented mods, and that's the next thing I needed to get there. Now, you say you died to a non-tormented boss. It was a spell. I was doing a cannot suppress map. I know now that attack is a spell. I'll do better the next time. That is the most dodgeable attack on the planet. I was just purely being lazy. I was changing my audio. I was talking to chat. I had no belief that attack could ever oneshot me, and I paid for it. You know, that was my mistake. Um, so you know what happens outside of that. Um, those are some of the main upgrades I was going to go for on this character to try to push in minmax and really go hard with it. You can see if I, uh, so let me pull up my inventory on this character. I don't, lets me pull up the inventory. In my inventory, I have my quiver for the character. I have awaken GMP and a few other valuable items in

there that I was that I was basically swapping in and out based on the character or based on the stuff I was doing. So anyways, that is the postmortem on the trickster. That's some of the plans I had for it, but we're just not going to get to those because we died, and instead, we're just going to make more builds and have some more fun. Probably do something a little bit more relatable, something a little bit more copyable, 'cause this character was ballooning into the stratosphere and cost. It was a lot of fun. I, for the first time ever, started to realize why people like tornado shot. I was playing with that for a lot of my map clear, and it felt pretty dang strong. I have to give props where it's due. I underestimated that skill. It hits almost every single shot if you're point-blank on the enemy from my testing, and I had a lot of fun with the character. But you know, it died, and it is what it is. We

We swallowed the poison pill. We reached for glory. We gambled our character's life in the search of greater riches, and we died for it. And that's how it goes. That's the great risk of avoided maps. It could take a map that I thought there wasn't very much chance of me dying in, and it could put you down a notch. So, that is the postmortem on the trickster. And yeah, next up, we're going to make a new build, and that should be more videos for me.
