hey everyone it's Ally and I want to make a very important video discussing tinctures. I've seen quite a lot of discussion in the community recently where a lot of people have been saying that tinctures are bad, and they're not worth including, and they're just going to feel super clunky and unusable. A lot of this is just straight up misinformation, and what I want to do today is hopefully either sway your opinion or further reinforce to you that tinctures are going to be really, really powerful. While I do agree with what some people have been saying that tinctures are going to be pretty weak on non-w and builds, I strongly disagree with people attempting to say that on Worden builds tinctures are not going to be strong. Tinctures are an item that you can equip in your FL saw that was introduced at Affliction, and back at Affliction they used to have permanent uptime. Now in 3.25 they're being reworked slightly to where they're going to have a cool down.

once they deactivate themselves, meaning you can't always have their buff active. While at the same time, they're going to apply a debuff onto you called mana burn that's going to drain 1% of your Mana per stack. You're going to keep gaining a stack every single second. This means eventually no matter what, your tincture will turn off. And because as a cool down, you physically cannot have 100% up time on it. Because these are attack only most attack builds typically sit at around 2 3 4% unreserved Mana, which is just enough Mana for them to be able to attack a few times with their ability and then let Mana Leach take care of all their Mana scene. So if you were to play a typical attack build, you'd be able to get to two to three stocks of mana burn at most before the mana burn rate is so high that you just lose your tincture, meaning you're going to get a few seconds of duration out of it before it goes on a 678-second cooldown.

down, which makes their uptime absolutely horrendous in most builds. Now that completely changes as a warden. Wardens get access to Enduring Infusion, which is going to make it so every stack of mana burn when your tincture turns off is going to make it so the buff lingers for half a second after. If you were to get to 12 stacks of mana burn, which is the cap, versus Fusion, get 6 seconds of duration in total. And if you were to combine this with Practice Re-application, which reduces the cooldown of your tinctures by 25%, this means that every single base can have the buff of your tincture linger until the cooldown of it falls off, allowing it to turn it back on without you ever losing your buff. This alone is going to be the crux that is going to make tinctures actually usable on Warden. It's going to make them really strong. If you were to look at the tincture that I'm including in my build, this is only with just the

stats that we know about on the tincture, and as we can see, is a 25% DPS increase in my build because of the sheer amount of raw critical strike chance that it gives me. Because these are not meant to always be sustained and have maybe 10-20% uptime on non-melee builds, they're going to come with unbelievably strong buffs to make those few seconds where you can actually activate head tincture very impactful. And because we can permanently have this always be active on a warden, it is just going to make your build substantially stronger. And if you don't include one of these into your build as a warden, you're effectively going to be making it substantially worse. Now, one question you might be having here is, Ali, isn't that going to be kind of difficult to actually utilize given you have to get 12 stacks of mana burn, meaning you need to deal with 12 mana drain per second? Well, that is true, that's not going to be a problem as I

mentioned, you're most likely going to want to pick up practice reapplication if you're playing a tincture in a warden build. And it just so happens that one of the tincture masteries makes it so the first six Mana Burns apply to you have no effect. There's been quite a lot of discord in the community about how this node specifically works, but it is my belief and quite a lot of other people's belief that this just means the first six meta burns on you can effectively be completely ignored. That means the seventh stack would start draining 1% of your Mana per second, the eighth stack would drain 2% of your Mana per second, and so on and so forth, which means with this Mastery, getting to 12 mana burn stacks only means you're losing 6% of your Mana per second. Now, that does mean you're going to have to rework your build a tiny little bit with this in mind, as you're going to need to have enough unreserved Mana to not only be

able to attack, but to have a little bit of overhead on top of that to make sure that you don't end up with any sort of clunkiness or any sort of situations where your tenure falls off. In my build specifically, I'm going to be going with 10% unreserved Mana. I've been telling people that 8 to 10% is most likely going to be enough for you to be able to attack and have enough overhead to where your lee is going to constantly deal with it, and this Mana Leech is going to be what is going to allow us to realistically be able to maintain all this burn rate that's going to be applied onto us. In my build, which is 10% of my leech is instant, I can have a Mana leech rate of 200 per second or 33% of my Mana per second. This should be more than enough to completely deal with everything, assuming I have things around me to attack. So, in any sort of typical map where you're always attacking

enemies you should easily be able to deal with your mana burn rate allowing you to get to 12 Stacks. Be able to get the full effect of endurance of fusion. Another thing that I've seen people potentially complain about is Ali. Isn't this going to be really annoying to utilize given you have to constantly press your button and to that I have two things to say one it's really not going to be that big of a deal realistically it's just one additional button that you're going to have to press every few seconds and two it's not as bad as people actually think it's going to be a lot of people are saying oh no I'm going to have to press my tincture every 6 seconds 7 Seconds that's going to feel really annoying I don't want to do that what if I told you that your tincture is only going to have to be activated every 40 seconds with endurance of fusion as well as the small nodes leading up to practice re application the mana burn

rate that we have that's going to be inflicted on us is going to be 38 stocks per second. That means it's going to take 2.7 seconds per stock of mana burn to actually be inflicted on you. That means it's going to take 31 and a half seconds for you to actually hit 12 mana burn stacks. Because in my case, for example, I'm going to be going a little bit over 6% of my unreserved mana. I'm most likely going to be getting to 12, 13, 14 mana burn stacks before my tenure actually turns off, meaning I have even better uptime on it. Once it does fall off in 31 seconds, you will then also have to wait another 6 seconds before you can press your tenure again, meaning in total you're going to be waiting somewhere around 37 seconds between reactivations. I'm sure a lot of people are used to playing a divine blessing build where you have to press your aura every 15 to 20 seconds or so, and this is almost

going to be double the amount of time between activation that a divine blessing would have used, and I think given how a tincture is going to give you upwards of 50% of the total damage in your build, that pressing that button every 40 seconds is not the end of the world. This is going to be even better when we add other nodes from the tree that make your tinctures even stronger. Not only could we get a lot of flask effect from something like collidal mixture, giving us upwards of 30% increased flask effect, and well, given how much DPS these SES are going to give us, it's going to be highly worth it. But we can also pick up Nature's concoction, which is going to make it so any adjacent flask to your tincture is going to get two charges per second. This, when combined with a little bit of flask recovery, such as careful conservationists or as natural remedies, is going to be enough for you to pretty much always be able to sustain two flasks.

on bosses at all times making your tenure even stronger. Realistically, during Maps, you should just have 100% flask uptime anyways as you're constantly killing things. But on bosses, that's not going to be the case, and being able to have permanent flasks on bosses, if you've ever played a build that utilizes the unique flask The Wise Oak, feels incredibly powerful. And it just makes your build feel that much more overpowered, well, because it's going to allow you to basically get a mini The Wise Oak in every build that you play. That's going to be another strong argument for using a tincture. And when we look at some powerful late-game unique tinctures that are typically very difficult to sustain, we can very easily get 90 to 95% uptime on a Coruscating Elixir, for example, which if you can do on a boss is absolutely crazy. Having near permanent or permanent uptime on a Coruscating Elixir during a boss has been something that's been exclusive to nothing but a Pathfinder, and if any other class is able to do

this, it is going to be very, very powerful because of this. I expect tinctures to be very strong, given just how much DPS they're going to give us. Even just looking at a basic tincture that they've shown us an example. And because they have the potential either make you do a lot more damage or be substantially Tinker on bosses, they're going to feel amazing for the early and mid game before you able to get yourself something like a mage blood. To where the Mage blood is going to do what the tincture is able to do for you. Because of this, I think tinctures are going to be unbelievably strong on wens. And I think you're honestly going to be making your build substantially weaker if you do not include endurance the fusion a Ure inside of it. Because the total investment for this is five passive points and one ascendency point. It is a no-brain ER to pick up a at minimum 20 to 30% DPS increase with it potentially becoming a 50 plus% DPS increase for a

build if you choose to invest into it.
