In January, I made this Tweet: Someone make the replay mod but good. Mod where the mod is good and has a good camera in it, and the UI doesn't randomly disappear sometimes. Someone make it and release it to the public and be a hero, please, someone. 7 months later, Flashback is released. Welcome to Flashback. This is the UI. Now I am going to be comparing this to replay mod a lot, um, because that's what it is. It's replay mod but just without any of the grievances I had with replay mod. But let me be clear, I don't like, I don't like hate the replay mod developers because I love this, okay? I'm going to be comparing it a lot, but I know that the replay mod devs probably, they haven't added features in like years, and it's probably 'cause they

just don't want to, and that's fine, but there was a lot to be desired, and now that desired stuff is here in the form of this mod, and so I'm grateful for that. Here's how it works in the bottom. Here's the timeline. This is an amazing UI. Like, you add element camera, and you just jump around, and there's no time key frames like in replay mod. There's none of that confusing stuff. I granted I was like 13, but when I first started using a replay mod, I did not understand the time key frames. It just was not intuitive to me. You just jump around the timeline, which, by the way, you can jump backwards, forwards. If I jump backwards in replay mod, then there's like a loading screen for like a goddamn minute. So this is already like half the time I spend making videos is like cut in half. So you jump to the spot, let's make a beautiful little popop, and then go over here. You play it, it plays immediately. This is like being in quick

mode on replay mod, but everything's there. It's just amazing. I love it. And you can right-click it, change the interpolation. Here, let me make it faster. I love the interlook. This is something you couldn't do in replay mod. I know it's ridiculous. I know it sounds like I'm hating. I'm sorry, but this is so good. You can pan the camera, and it doesn't overshoot by like... it doesn't go like... it just goes where you want it to go. But that's not all. Look, look, look. Okay, let me do this. You go back here and then add element FOV, so you can do a dolly zoom in camera. Like, you don't have to manually... you don't have to render in like 8K and then zoom in. What? What the... that's awesome. It's replay mod, but I can get the... I want to make with replay mod done here faster. Now, there are some things that I would like like in replay mod. The keyframes, if you double

click them then it and I'm right clicking. That's what this is, but it would show the camera's yah, the camera's pitch, which is just the angle, and then the coordinates of the keyframe. And as far as I know, you don't have that here. Oh, you could show the GUI. That's awesome, awesome. There's also these options here. You can choose to render name tags. You can choose not to render the sky, which I mean, that was in replay mod, but particles, ooh, custom fog. That is awesome. I mean, you could do that in the settings, but this is much more customizable. Wow, that's beautiful. Over by time, you can change the time of day. This is cool. I love this. Someone made like a thing where you could like edit replay files in replay mod. You can just do it in camera now. Camera shake frequency and amplitude. We're doing s shake. Oh my God, in camera. Okay, so you just set the distance and then you change the yaw and it will orbit around. But what if I change this actually 360? Yes, okay, it goes in a circle around that beautiful. Oh my God. And you, while I was making MCC6, there was one shot I was trying to get where the camera like spun around Fundy and then it was going to like transition and I just couldn't get it right because the keyframes just would not listen to me. I'd be like, all right, one here, one here. It just doesn't like listen. And now it's like its own dedicated feature. And by the way, Mulberry announced he was working on this in like June, right? August 21st, so it's been like two months, and this is released to the public. That's amazing. Thank you, mber. Some things to look forward to: you can right-click a player, hit spectate. That's cool, but who knows what other things they'll add. I wish you could right-click a player and hide them in replay mod. You press B, and then it shows a list of all the players, and you can choose which ones you want to show, which ones you want to hide. That is something I don't know if it's here. There's just a button to hide all players, but there's no button to choose specific players that I know of. The export button, that is something I haven't shown. Oh yeah, you can export with audio, with audio, and you can choose the file type for the audio codec. You can choose, I mean, this is pretty standard stuff, but when you click X export, then it opens up this so you can choose where it goes. I love that. Okay, is it already done? Was that it?
