Welcome to Hippo. In this short video, we'll show you how easy it is to stake and unstake your TON using Hippo, so you can start earning rewards while keeping your assets liquid. 

Step one: First, head over to the Hippo web app, Telegram mini app, or Hippo gang. Choose whichever platform works best for you. 

Step two: Next, connect your TON wallet. You can use any wallet that supports TON. 

Step three: Now, enter the amount of TON you want to stake. You'll see how much HTON you'll receive based on the current exchange rate. Once you're ready, click Stake to proceed. 

Step four: Finally, confirm the transaction in your wallet. Within seconds, you'll receive your HTON, and the staking process is complete. 

Once your TON is staked, as your HTON's value increases with each validation round, your rewards are automatically compounded. In the Stake tab, you can view your TON and HTON balances, see how much rewards you've earned, and check the APY from the last validation round. 

If you need to unstake your HTON, you have two

options option one: unstake directly from the hippo app. This method has lower fees, but you may need to wait if all the funds are locked in the current validation round. Option two: for instant access, you can swap your hton for ton through dexes like dust or stfi, or even through wallets like ton keeper. This option is quicker but comes with slightly higher fees.
