let's look at the definition of siddhis, right, which comes from the yoga sutras of Patanjali. And you know, we go back to one of the sutras, and it says, right, which means janma, which is birth, right. Siddhis can be attained through karma, good luck of your good birth, right, the use of light-bearing plants, right, that is, which today we think of in Ayurvedic, but it actually means psychedelics, um, mantra, right, the incantation of mantras, which is meditation, dhana, or samadhi, right. This gives you superpowers, that's it. There's nothing else to learn. If you do any of those, you will get powers. So if I look at what Patanjali described as the eight superpowers, he actually described about 28, but the eight that are primary, right, and we'll go into them in a second, yeah, foreign, that means ability to become really small, ability to become really huge, ability to become very light, ability to become very heavy, ability to obtain anything you

desire, ability to become irresistible, attractive to everyone, ability to rule over the minds of others, and ability to control others and the world that you live in, right? These are considered the eight primary siddhis. Now let's look at it in a different way, and we'll come to that in detail. The story of siddhis in mythology includes stories for Ganesh, includes stories for Hanuman, includes stories for the SRI Devi, and lalitative stories for siddhis, right across. But the first city that we consider is that if you look at the qualities that will come to that, you will see this chart on the right expresses the qualities of being Hanuman, which means that he received from Sita the ultimate kind of Ideal goddess of the earth. He received the eight Boons, the eight Davies, the eight siddhis as goddesses almost that he could have in his life, and we'll come to this chart in a bit, but I want to just take you through it, right? So when most people think of

aushadi siddhis today or Shadi. They think of ayurveda because urshadi is a word used in ayurveda for herbal remedies and herbal cures, right? Oh, Shady. Now, the real meaning of ashadi is plant-based ways of awakening siddhis and superpowers, right? So, one of the earliest forms in India where what they think was one of the sources of Soma was magic mushrooms for sure. That means when you take magic mushrooms, you will experience psychedelic states that will give you sensitivity powers towards other things. And the other one was called datura, right? And we had seen earlier that datura and cannabis, when combined together by certain yogis in certain ways, create psychedelic states that are known as the Shiva Shakti states and the mountain sadhus, right? And Carlos Castaneda in his book about Don Juan wrote about datura as well, and he says, She, the goddess datura, is as powerful as the best of allies. But there is something I personally don't like about

her she distorts men. She gives them a taste of power too soon, without fortifying their hearts, and makes them domineering and unpredictable. She makes them weak in the middle of their great power. So, the idea here is that psychedelics, by nature, can give you instant cities, but they make you arrogant, they give you ego, they give you a distorted view of reality. So, whether you take 5meo or NNDMT, or you take LSD, or you take anything, or you are actually instantly waking up whole brain activation that leads you to achieve the states that could be had in siddhis, and that gives you a kind of supernatural state that gives you powers, but without real yogic balance, you can't manage to do it well. So, just think about it, right? The ancients had no problems taking psychedelics, right, at all, but what they were saying was that that should be part of a bigger process of yoga, right? That you should do yoga, and yoga means practicing union at all times with the

Divine Right that means grounding yourself, that means Mantra, that means breathing, the Ashtanga, the eight-part yoga, the Eightfold part, dharana, dhyana, samadhi, cultivating all these good, and then if you use plant medicine, you can get the benefits of cities that come with it. But he who does siddhis by plant medicine without that grounding will get instant Powers but will then fall apart, will then have ego, will drive everything, then hallucination will drive everything, it won't be real, it will be like an instant dose of power without any knowledge of how to use it, you know. And the thing about doing it from the yogic point of view is that you cultivate Powers as you progress, so you actually become a true user of these powers in a beautiful way rather than an instant fix. A lot of people will also do the Devi Worship in that way to get that power, and they misuse it, right? So, for example, they go to tantrics in India and they say, Give me the black magic of

Baglamukhi or Matangi, and they want powers, right? And they'll go and do it, and they'll spend a lot of money, and the guy will do it with them, and then they'll get all these powers, but then the whole world will fall apart for them. They will destroy things, they will become arrogant, they will become... And so if you go to the goddess in the same way, without that opening of the heart and the grounding and Ganesh and opening yourself up, you're going to get royally... right? This is the whole metaphor of this idea of siddhis, is that people can get them quickly, but you distort reality then, right? And that's not to say that karmically they're not going to be successful. Many people with siddhis are very successful. Many believe that Donald Trump had massive siddhis, right? Many believe that other people have siddhis, right? You see them all around the world, millionaires suddenly becoming millionaires. How did they become millionaires? What happened, right? They cultivated something that

opened up a channel of communication, but they did not necessarily open their heart center, or they did not become better human beings; they just got the power, right? And the world is full of that, right? So when a Yogi says that your karma is the reason you are suffering, what they're really saying is not that the evil person who made money had no and was fine, had bad or good karma. Your experience of dealing with the crap of your life is your karma. So if I come into the world and I say, I am born into poverty, and I am stuck in poverty, and it is my destiny to become a picker, and that's all I'm going to do for the rest of my life, and for me to break away from that is not in my karma, then I have chosen that part, that story that I've told myself of my karma, yes. But if I come into the world and I say, Yes, I was born into poverty, but I got siddhis, and I took control, and I became a multi-millionaire, but I became an

Then that's also my karma, right? Because most people who do that become... It's a fact; we see it all the time, right? But the reality is that the person who rewrites their story with karmic freedom, with that heart opening, they get the freedom that we are talking about, that likeness, that being, that siddhi is all around the eighth eight matric. I said this right, okay? I will continue. So, beyond the state of the two other ways to achieve siddhis that we're exploring today are what is called samyana, which is the turiya state, samadhi state, yogic states, right? Through breathing, mental focus, clarity of mind, all that stuff the Buddhists do it. Samyana is the way. Or the other way is through mantra, which is Shakti, which is through SRI chakra, through Durga, through Lakshmi, through Raj, and particular Raja Matangi. She is the one. Raja Matangi is the goddess of siddhis, right? So, samyana siddhi, right?

um is about meditation. It's about stealing my mind stuff, you know, Yogi Patanjali, Dashtanga. So, I love this joke that I read once. It says, Past, present, and future walk into a bar at the same time. It was tense. I think Judith will like that one the most. Past, present, and future walk into a bar at the same time. It was tense. Man, you gotta love it, right? So, the true nature of samyama, samyana, is to be completely present in this moment, right? That means if I can stop all mind fluctuations, if I can stop all breathing, if I can stop all activity, and I go in through the nirvikalpa samadhi of yoga, right? At that state, boom, all the superpowers come into me on time. They flooded, and that's when samayana begins, right? Now, the two parts in that statement from Patanjali Yoga Sutra is which is meditation and samadhi. They are the two only ways. So, siddhis come after

dharana, dhyana, and samadhi, or in the turia state, right? And what they say is that three states occur when you do it in samyana, right? And, uh, the, uh, one is that exceptional Mind-Body Control, two, that means I have control of my breathing, my organs, my flow, my aging, everything is under my control. I have exceptional sensitivity, psychic skills, Clairvoyance. I have the ability to feel and sense things before they happen. Other people today, what the experiments we did today, Clairvoyance comes. And the third stage is that I begin to control mind matter. I begin to create new realities. I can manifest things out of my mind. I can use the mind to influence things. You know, these three states come, right? I have met many, many Advanced yogis, and I've seen partial states of these in many of them, right? But no one have I seen with full samyana yet, okay? So, it is a promise, but it is hard. You have to go and do Tapas for 30 years.

in a mountain to cultivate these states. Okay, it is so hard, man. Oh man, oh man, it's hard. You know, that's why people prefer psychedelics and quick, you know. That's why I prefer, they prefer Mantra because holy cow, how much would it take for me to get Victoria? I can't get there. My mind blurs into blah blah blah rubbish talk in my head all the time. So while I love samyana, right, and I'm sorry, but I do practice it, um, but it's not for you if you are on the Shakti path. It is only for you if you decide to quit the Shakti part or understand that it's just a crutch. And when you understand that Shakti is a crush, then you can do samyana because the hardest thing for you to do is to get past the chatter, chatter, chatter in your head to get to zamyana. It's easy with Raja because Raja just shuts you down, shut up, let's go meditate, focus, and

for 10 minutes, you did nothing but listen to me. Now, do you have that in you to just say no? There is nothing I'm going to go into Tranquility right now, and I want you all to get to that, but I want you all to get to that enjoyably, not as you would have to do at Shiva Nanda yoga, where they beat you into it to go to Shivananda school, and you spend six months there. You will begin to have samyana, right? But your day would start at five in the morning, and you would have to meditate till 12 at night, and then even then, you can't do anything else, right? And by the way, even they get caught up in the world. There have been sexual scandals and all kinds of rubbish from that ashram too, so it's it. There's no way to get past it except to do it in your own cave, in your own head. You can't. No ashram is going to give it to you, and then by the time you get to samyana, you have

detached from the world so much that you are nothing you desire anymore, so you're a boring old fart sitting on a mountain doing nothing. You can't even have a glass of wine and enjoy yourself anymore. You've given it all up. No manifestation needed because you don't want anything or dear or dear or dear laughs. By the way, the more time you spend in samyana, the more ridiculous life becomes, so you have to laugh all the time. This is why I laugh so much, because when you're in samyana, you look at the world and you go, That's so funny. And when you think, Oh my God, that thing is so serious, laugh. You have to laugh. You can't stop laughing. You will not be able to stop laughing, you know. And by the way, Shirobindo said that that's okay, that joy is also a city that comes. That's why they should call me Swami Sukhananda, but I don't want to be a Swami, so too bad. [Laughter]

let's now leave the world of samyana alone, and those that seriously want to study samyana, oh boy, talk to me separately. I can't do this here. So, Mantra siddhi is the sweetest of them all, okay? Mantra siddhi, and the first mantra siddhi is one of the durgas we just worshiped over the last week, right? Siddha datri, right? So, whenever you're following Mukta's weekly daily thing, see that tree is the ninth one, so she is the ultimate Durga, right? Why? Because she's the one that everybody who has to worship at the end of the day, right? But there is Mantra, but we don't do it. But the Doom Mantra I gave you for parashakti is more powerful to awaken siddhis in you, yes? So, the full way to achieve overarching cities is to worship Durga, I said that right, or para Shakti, Supreme mother, because that means I have no other requirements. I leave it to you, you give

me power you give me fix everything for me right. This is the whole idea of Siddhartha. Everybody understands that. Yes, the second stage on from that is what we call I have desires and the mother who is still like Durga but now called Tripura Sundari fulfills my desires, right? And she gives me goddesses to help me fulfill all my desires, right? So when I look at that, if you remember the SRI anthra, the bhupura, the world sphere, the bottom of the Pura, right? The eight-ten goddesses are there around the outer wall that stops you from becoming one with the mother, right? See the outer wall. So if I look back, see that outer wall, this outer red wall, yes, it's the Gateway for me to move towards heaven, right? The Ninth Gate. But I am at the first gate. The first power given to me at the first gate is the Siddhi Matas, the seven, the ten Siddhi mothers, right? The ten one in each corner. So you go Anima, Lagima, Mahima, Ishvita.

prakamya prakamya bhukti and sarva Karma all desires right so you can fulfill if you fulfill all your desires in the world. This is the beauty of Sri Vidya. That's why so many people practice with Vidya in India because it says, Hey, I will look after everything for you. I'll give you all the pleasures of the world. Just worship me, right? It's a fair deal. It's a good deal. If you worship Srividya, you get the powers of the mother, and she looks after everything for you. Very nice, right? So, let's look at the traits of the eight main goddesses, right? They're called the ashta siddhi Matas, right? So, the first mother is anima humility. So, the earlier definition in Sanskrit is to become small, right? What does this mean? That means if I become small, I am humble because I realize I am nothing. Okay, everybody take a moment and breathe on that, right? Many of you thought becoming small meant becoming the size of an atom.

right and Tiny did you think that you thought that right. It's actually the opposite. It is reducing your ahankara to zero. Humility number one yogic trait. Removal of I. So if I cultivate that siddhi because there is no I, I can remove myself from the equation. That's why Patricia can stand in the woods and nobody will see her because she removed the eye from herself, right? That's what happens. I removed myself. So being light or being small anima siddhi means to actually go to deep, deep humility. So and now now now rethink all of the others with me. Mahima siddhi. I become large. Universal is the earlier idea but I actually help others. I become selfless and start helping other people, right? Garima siddhi. I become grounded and solid. Means I contribute. I give my time, my energy, my my base to other people and other things and causes. Means and light as a feather means that I don't need anything. I am Frugal. I don't need any. I'm limited needs. So I

don't want anything. I don't need anything. So everything comes to me anywhere, anytime. That idea of just shooting yourself anywhere is that I am eternally searching for the mother, right? Which means will thoughts become reality. Is that I have the will to find the mother. Is means acting through others. I take control of others. Is I take responsibility for my actions in the world. My karma, which is selfless, no ego. I am. I dissolve into the. The earlier definition is to become one with God. What it really means is to give unconditional love to the world. Do you see the difference now looking at the eight siddhis and what it does to you, right? Does it change your perspective? What do you think if you think about superpowers as humility, as contribution, as selflessness, as giving, as love, as Powers, then you get all the powers of the world. Very different take, right? So the more you cultivate the small, the less existent you become. You leave zero footprint on the sands of time. You have zero footprints on the

earth. You have zero carbon footprint. You have zero everything because you just out of the way, right? Same with the other ones, right? Each one is like one of those aspects. And if you go back and you think about the 12 Petals of mother's Lotus, don't they sound like this? Don't they look like this? Courage, compassion, kindness, all these things happening, right? It's a wonderful, beautiful way of looking at it, right? So chant with me now. We're going to go through the eight matrices, and this is the overarching mantra for them, right? And you will hear them, by the way, if you do the kalabahana or you do the SRI chakra Puja. You heard mukta chanted. This is part of that chanting. So they call the ashta siddhi Prada. Now what you're saying is, so in some of the traditions of Sri Vidya, you can chant it as part of the 64 beings of the SRI yantra, the chakra in

the kalavahana. That's how you do it, or you can chant it, just repeating these eight over and over again, so you cultivate these traits in yourself. So, just chanting these traits cultivates them in you. That's the Mantra philosophy, right? Let me become humble. Let me become compassionate. Let me become big. Let me become heart. Let me become loving. Let me all these. Let me become. Let me become. Let me become. And what does the mother do in return? She gives you superpowers. [Laughter] Not a bad trade-off, right? If I withdraw, she gives me everything. So, I don't need to go to the Himalayas to do it. I just have to look at the SRI Meru or the SRI Chakra and meditate on it, and that's it. And the mudra is this one, right? Means dissolution. I dissolve. I dissolve. I dissolve. Over and over again. Nice, no? So, the first step of the bhupura is to call upon the mothers to give me power. First step, right? So that I can have

freedom to move towards the Bindu, towards the real mother, right? Okay, so now I'm going to tell you some nice stories about the mother. By the way, you don't need to do all that; you can just do looking at the Bindu, and it's all done for you, does it for you, that's it. So, you don't need to do any of that stuff; it's done if you do this 15 times every morning. So, one of the things I wanted you to look at that basically just like samyama, controlling the mind, is the whole purpose of Sri Vidya, right? And this formula you see here is from the padusrama kalpa sutras, the ultimate book on which Srividya is built, right? And the whole SRI Vidya theory is that at the top of my head sits the mother tripura sundari Lalita, her two lieutenants are shama Matangi and varahi, on the left right brain and left brain, and at the muladhara in my third eye is

ganpati, who opens the door, and Bala Tripura Sundari take control of all my world and my senses between right. So, if I chant Ganpati Tripura Sundari, I can connect and get all the blessings of the mother to do everything I want in the world. So, the goddess of Siddhis in this tradition is called Matangi, right? And she's also known as Shama. Shama means Kali, the dark one, right? Shama in Bengal, we know her as Shama. In Assam, they call her Shama. In the South, they call her Matangi, Raja Matangi, the Supreme Lieutenant of Lalitative, right? So, when you look at the South Indian tradition, there's one temple in India that we don't normally talk about, but it is the most wealthy temple in the whole of India, one of the most wealthy in the whole of India. They have more gold than anybody else for some reason, but it makes sense because it's Matangi's Temple. But it is called Meenakshi Temple in Madurai in

the south of India, right? So, if you look at Meenakshi, this is a picture of Meenakshi Temple. It is one of the most intricate vast Temple complexes you will ever see in your life, right? And in the middle of it is the Great temple Hall of pillars that leads to Meenakshi, right? This is, look at this picture. I mean, talk about an entire civilization given to the mother. Meenakshi is the great mother, right? And this is what her statue looks like at the sanctum sanctorum. This is a kind of illustration of what she looks like, and she's just a two-handed form of Parvati, right? And what she's holding is a parrot, right? And if you look here, the temple structure is like a meru. There are nine steps up to the Divine mother, right? And so, each one is like a temple in the SRI Vidya and the mahamiru. This is a meru, right, leading up to the mother. It is the most ornate and architecturally

fantastic things you'll ever see, but one of the things that you see with Meenakshi is that this is an interesting story, right? And it kind of, you know, we dispute this a lot in India, but it is a great battle between North and South India. It is also a great battle between Shaivism and Vaishnavism. This is one of the great battlegrounds, right? And in South India, the North Indian cultures always looked down at the South Indian cultures because the Aryan civilization in the North, where Pharaoh and came from the mountainous regions, and they always looked at the dark people as Dasas or Dravidians, later it was called or whatever. And Meenakshi was the great Queen of the South, right, of Madurai, and she proposed marriage to Shiva. And Shiva was meant to come down, and this is the myth, and cross the river, but he refused to go to South India, classic, right? He refused to go to South India. This was a northern Indian version of Shiva, obviously, so she

becomes Parvati of devotion. Basically, she will worship Shiva, but she doesn't need Shiva, right? So, she will sing the songs to Parvati, sing the songs to Shiva, sing the songs, right? See, and she was dark, right? So, if you look at Matangi, she's dark, right? And this, I mean, forget the metaphorical meanings, that was the story that divided North and South India. But throughout history, Madurai, this part of India, or what is called the Kingdom of Vijayanagar, right? The Kingdom of Vijayanagar, that was the capital of Vijayanagar, was the richest, most successful kingdom that India ever produced before them, until the Moguls, right? Because their entire business was spice. They would trade spice with the whole world, right? So, this was the spice capital of the south of India, right? This is where they dominated the spice trade. So, Madurai became the richest city in India for hundreds of years and under the different dynasties, right? Which it was called the Vijayanagar Empire and

Before that, there were Palavas and Cholas, and it came through that way, right? So when you go down there, you sense the wealth of the South and the richness of the Shiva Shakti culture that must have existed, still remaining down there. So there were two patches: one was Himalayan and the other was in the South. So if you go to the way to meditate on Meenakshi, oh, by the way, when you go to Meenakshi, the real secret power lies in two different statues in Meenakshi. They are Bhadrakali and Agora Shiva. That means that no matter where you go, the reality of Shiva Shakti is the void and the darkness inside you, Bhairavi and Bhairav. So even if you see the luminous, beautiful golden parrot speaking beautiful goddess, right? She is actually Kali inside, and she's making love to Shiva in death, you know. This is the beauty of that. So we will go down there in my next trip in

India right now. Matangi is worshiped. Let's go to Matangi. She is India's Ambassador. Mantra chanting Saraswati. You know all that beautiful thing, but basically look at this, right? She carries a Veena. That, and I'll explain to you in the poem tree. See the half moon, see the smiling face, see the gold and the Conch, right? And the Noose, or sometimes called the Noose, and a conch, or a god, a Lotus representing transcending all the muck of life. The Sheaf of wheat of bhupura of the Earth element, and parrot, parrot here, which you see in Meenakshi as well, represents sexual desire, Kama Rupa, right? So if you look at her, this is an earlier tantric form. She has a Cutlass to cut off your nose, of your head, the parrot that gives you sexual desire, the Veena that plays the song of the universe, the skull that reminds you of your mortality and your, your to die to come to her and

She plays this sound by blessing you with Abaya right there, right? So, think about it. Matangi to worship Matangi. If you go to Meenakshi, for example, right? She is Shama in the heart chakra, right? That means that you are going to meditate to her by leaning forward, giving your golden light or your heart to her, right? So, you are going heart to heart. So, when I... So, she's another form of Lakshmi Puja. It is heart transcending, going out into the world. And when I give my heart, like magic begins to happen for me. You see how it works here. So, it's different from... says detach, detach, detached, and then you will wake up your heart eventually, and that will give you the Bliss of Samayama, right here. She's saying, Go with the heart first, give it to the mother, and she will look after everything for you. Isn't that beautiful? The Heart Center. So, when I... I'm going to skip to the Mantra so I can explain the Mantra to you a little bit. So, this is her Mantra.

okay, those of you who have been with me for a while know this mantra. We're going to practice it together, these first three lines, right? I'm Reem, sreem, I'm clean, so om Namo bhagavati. That means she who is adorned with jewels from the muladhara to the agya and the 12 Lotus Petals of bhaga, of abundance. Bhagavati is bhaga, abundance, so she is a form of Lakshmi at the heart. So we are invoking bhagavati, right, which is a form of ma, as 12 petal Lotus of the heart, right? And we are going towards her. We open our heart chakra first towards her. Then she says SRI matang ishwari, right? I bow to Matangi, the green-blue one, right? Hari, her Moon. See this Moon here attracts the minds of all people. That means I control minds when I am able. It's a siddhi. I can attract the minds of all people. Her smile, see that smile.

intoxicates us all to bliss and union. Claim him, her music brings harmony to my heart. This is all three sounds of the heart chakra. Claim shreem sarwar raja bashankari, all-powerful people come to her through her power of her earrings, her conch, her different attributes because all-powerful people are drawn to her. The sound that she makes, all women and men will come because she has a thika of the musk deer. See this Tikka here, the Bindu, the Tikka on her forehead, it is the musk deer, right? Who can tell me in my previous storytelling what the musk deer represents? Anybody, come on, somebody will remember, go on Naji. I'll try to try to put in a nice way. It's the sense that detects anything, but it comes from your behind me. [Laughter] That is correct. It's the musk deer gives out the most incredible glandular smell from the... It's true, but it can't find it, so it keeps looking everywhere for it, right? Exactly, so she

is the mother of the musk deer. Sense in your third eye, so she is reminding you that that smell you're seeking is inside you. Beautifully put for the mother. Thank you, thank you, thank you. There we go, uh, because she wears the musk deer Tikka on her head, right? All dark animal asurik Natures will come through because of the parrot. The sexual desire will tame the animals in us, and art and culture will come out of it. So I convert my sexual desire into creativity. See through the parrot. All Good People Too will come because of a beautiful fragrant hair and flowers in our hair, right? So that means even the pious satwik nature people, satwa vashankari, means all those people who pretend to be spiritual or think they're spiritual, will have to give up because they'll smell the Ganda flower and they'll want to come and they'll make one to make love to the mother, right? It's beautiful, isn't it? They can't resist her. She's irresistible.

irresistible force of nature, right? We got that right. All worlds, all universes will come to her because she's wearing the red clothes of the blood of the mother, right? She is the Primal mother, the parashakti sarvame. Her smile will bring all people, all persons to her control. So here, if you really wanted to, and this is a secret I don't normally share, you want me to share a secret with you, listen carefully. Bring your ears mirror, bring your ears mirror. All right, I'll share a secret with you. If you replace the first part of this with the name of a person, you can take control of that person with your smile in your mind. So Tara, I'm taking control of your mind. [Laughter] I can add a person's name here, and that gives me power over that person. Then it says her smile brings all people to her under control, swaha. So let it be in the fire of my desire, saw clear mind as I merge back into her Divine embrace, the womb of the mother.

so look at that. I have just invoked all the powers of the Siddhi Matas in one go through Meenakshi, through Matangi. Isn't that beautiful? So let's go back to this diagram. So look at it carefully. Right brain Matangi, that means Ida goes to right brain, left brain, provide a heat-controlled power, stillness, steadiness, two lieutenants required to bring the grace of the mother into Lalita Prasandri and Balatri, come into the body, and the Gateway protector is Ganpati. So the fundamental thesis of the power mantras of the Parishrama Kalpa Sutras are Ganpati foreign. If I chant, so if I look at the goddess Matangi or Meenakshi or I go to the temple and I bow forward and I give my heart to her and I open my heart, heart to heart to her, and I rub my chest, right? I am foreign [Music]. Tell me your heart does not open when you hear that [Laughter]. And so the more you give from your heart

the more she gives you powers, and she is the Siddhi Mata. She is the Raja Rajeshwari of Siddhis. She's the sun. Should we worship the sun through her? You know she is the Sun, not the Moon. She is the Sun. She is the power of the Sun. I'm really interested with me. You want we can do it with the card. Hold on. So let's do the full Mantra.
