* 🔌 Upon arriving at Coney Island, I searched for electrical outlets to charge my scooter, but found none available, leaving me with **51% battery** as I prepared to head back.

I'm gonna ride my electric scooter today. I can smell the fumes from this car. What? Oh my gosh, wow, the whole thing disintegrated in the back. Damn. All right, I'll address the super chat once I get past. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, pay attention. Is there a lot of traffic or what? Here, is that trailer, tractor-trailer allowed to be here? That seems awfully tall. I don't think that truck's supposed to be there. I've never seen a truck that size go onto the Pulaski before. All right, now we got to fight all these cars. This guy's on his phone. Hello, hello, hello, texting while driving. Yeah, smart move, very smart. Whoa, whoa, whoa, what happened? What happened? My scooter just acted a little bit strange there. There were some blinking lights, but it was okay. I was able to find another spot to charge. Gosh, gosh, come on, what the heck. Jeez. [Music] I did the best what I can do in that situation and not go straight.

People don't know how to drive. That light probably said no turn, and they still turned. They turned into oncoming traffic. Real smart, man. That's a lot of traffic on the Prospect Expressway. You know, I think I made a wrong turn. This is Fort Hamilton Parkway. I'm supposed to go this way. I took the wrong side of the street to get here, across that bridge. I was supposed to go on the other side, on the other side of that fence. But I can go to Ocean Parkway this way too. Here we are. All right, so this is a dedicated bike path all the way down to Coney Island. Now Ocean Parkway. What the heck? That's a huge bump in the road. There, a really big one. [Applause] Oh no. Who needs a roller coaster when you could ride over here? Oh, roller coasters are overrated. Just ride on Ocean Parkway. Hey, it's the subway again. I thought I wasn't gonna see it again. Or I can go on the boardwalk. Why not? What does that say? Everyone says welcome.

to Coney Island beach. A little bit windy here. Diane says congrats. I made it. Yes, good time for the beach. The main part of Coney Island is not until down there though by Stillwell Avenue, but we've made it. I love hearing this award on the boardwalk. Clint Clinton makes me feel like you're on a boat. Walk the plant landlubber. Sometimes you'll be surprised there's power outlets on the side of these buildings. Look at this. They put a lock on it. Otherwise, this would have been the power outlet. What's this? What's this? Electrical outlet. Electrical outlet. I'm wasting your time. [Music] What happened? Yeah, no power. Okay. Oh man, none of them's got no power. Yep, no power. I've got 51 percent left. All right, let's do it. But we'll just go back on 51 battery. Almost exactly half. It's fine if I run out of power then uh I'll be close enough to home that I figured I could just walk it back.

that's all. [Music] But we're leaving Coney Island now, and I could always charge the battery later. I don't have to charge it now. Diane says, I hope I make it back with power to spare. I mean, if I got here with 50% battery, you would think that 50% battery going back would be perfect. So, even if it does die, I'll be close enough that I can always arrange something to get back, walk home, take the subway, whatever, have someone pick me up. Or if I'm fortunate enough to see an electrical outlet on the way, I can always charge for, you know, half an hour. That'll be plenty. Back to the bumpy Ocean Parkway again. I think this is one of the worst sections over here. Roller coaster. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. This is the real Coney Island cyclone over here, not where I was back there. The amusement parks are closed anyway, besides the small one. Here's the other section that's bad. Uh-oh, I actually hit my teeth there.

uh oh, one and a half bars now of battery left. One and a half. That has me worried, man. This place is busy. Wow, Vanderbilt is starting to get hoppin. This is the Prospect Heights neighborhood on your left. Oh my gosh, why that guy pass to my left. My battery's blinking red right now, which means that it's on its last legs. Hey, subway, nice to meet you again. I last saw you in Coney Island. If the scooter dies, I think I'll be close enough that I could just walk, and I can still do my stream walking. I brought my gimbal with me. We're only going five or six now. I think that's it. I think that's it. I mean, it's a Green Point Avenue, which is the main street. [Music] All right, that's it. No more scooter battery. It's done. Frank's saying the walker battery. Shame it ain't shameful when it lasted so long. It impressed me so much today. Scooter did well today. I didn't know Green Point gets so busy.

At this time, big difference walking around these neighborhoods compared to scooting around. All hey, no joke, I sneezed eight times. I sneezed eight times after blowing my nose. All the pollen just settled. All right, almost a nice time. Good. All right, welcome to New York City. [Music] Great view here. Someone else is suffering from allergies. Bless you. [Music] But I can test going on the scooter. Let me make sure I have my balance before I do anything stupid. I just need to hit the brake. Yeah, I could do this. Let's go very carefully. All right, so I only need to walk half this bridge or like three quarters of it downhill. The scooter is still coming in useful even though I'm not using it or I mean the throttle's not working. I can use it on the downhills. Oh, by the way, this is gonna be the new location of Trader Joe's. Hey, I think they're hiring. I'm glad I passed by this. I forgot about it. This is gonna be the next place that

gets mobbed and uh tons of people waiting in line for they look here's an outlet plenty of them [Music] let me see if this works so this charging is charging wow that was quick it went from one to two already. This has to be one of the most like no-nonsense setups you can get just someone with a power strip and then there's this one too. All right, I'll charge it to 10. You know this charger isn't really the best shape either. It's kind of like bent over there and this duct tape here what the heck so weird. Whoa this is brand new. There's a bike lane on 23rd street. The city just put this in. I don't even know this existed [Music]. Maybe I should have charged a scooter to 10. It feels like it's sputtering out right now. All right let's just yep that's it. Only got me a few blocks but there's some good restaurants up here on 36th ave. Hope you enjoy this long long adventure.
