Whenever I write about the foolishness of working from home, there is always one group of workers who squeal and protest the loudest. Yes, it's software engineers, this guy or software developers. You know I love to dunk on this guy, but currently, he ain't wrong. Okay, can we all agree? I mean, he could have—I mean, he forgot that we—that most software engineers have weaponized autism, and so it's just like, Oh yeah, it's shocking, absolutely shocking that that group struggles the most with non-work, with work from home. Come on, classic founder investor on LinkedIn. Yeah, a founder of XLN, non-exec. I'm not even sure what that means. How are you a founder, not an executive? Well, I've got some good news for you. I've always said that some kinds of jobs can be done from home. One of those is software developer.

So, it's not even enthusiasm, it's like a desperate, bitter clinging to trying to stand within some sort of political system, whereas software engineers are just trying to build stuff, and we keep

building stuff, dude. What does this even mean? A black hole of enthusiasm. Now the human interaction part, fair and factual. Okay, we can all understand that there is some human reaction. I think this is satire. This guy must be satire. It has to be satire. The only reasonable explanation so far is satire. They sit there all day with their headphones on and add absolutely nothing to the greater good or the culture of the business. Trying to interact with them is like trying to talk to a 13-year-old. They just grunt at you as if they've responded at all. Okay, I can't tell if he's actually... First off, you could only have one conversation at a time, okay? In real life, you can have a happy hour where people are getting drinks and stuff, and there can be like four, five, six, many conversations going on. In remote land, you can't do sidebar. There's no sidebar, none. You can't just... It's just forced awkward social interaction where that one guy, Tony, won't shut the hell up. It's always Tony yapping, yapping.
