hello and welcome Exiles. today I want to talk about Rarity and gold. gold farming was something I have been doing for the past few days, and I've Come Away with some conclusions that are very impactful. number one is Rarity seems to be tied to it. there are people who have been digging around the code that have found stuff that seems to say that equipment is being traded out for gold, basically as a way of like, okay, these items aren't necessarily valuable enough, we're going to transform them into gold, and that's how we're going to drop it. and it does seem to be the case when I go around and I play with more Rarity, I'm dropping more gold. for example, I've been farming t7s for the past couple days with this character, and I've had some upgrades as I did it throughout. now, initially, I started out doing just some sacrifice fragments adding in Quant, and I was getting maybe around 20 to 30,000 to maybe 35,000 gold per map, and it was

Maps like this with basically this atlas tree where I'm pushing mod tier effect. I'm pushing a little bit of increased Scarab drops, and a little bit of item quantity. That's basically what I'm prioritizing, nothing really else, nothing too complicated. Now I am investing a little bit more into it, and I'm going into the route of adding in extra rares. I'm adding in pack size, I'm adding in some shrines, I'm adding in hunted Traders. And with doing that, I got closer to being like 35 to 50K a map. The gold went up when I added in those extra monsters, but then now I've added in item Rarity, and I've been getting closer to 50,000 to 100,000 a map. And I believe it is a very big impact factor and it will impact you on t16s. Just a little item Rarity makes a pretty decent difference. Uh, as you invest more, I've noticed less and less of an upgrade, so I don't think necessarily like over mid maxing into it.

is it really necessary? Maybe just one item with Rarity or swapping an item Rarity support if you have Overkill damage. Or swapping in a flask, for example. Initially, when I started testing out item Rarity, I just swapped on a flask like this: the Gold Flask with increased Rarity suffix craft, and I just ran with it. And that was a fairly sizable improvement. Now, my character, I have now gotten to the point where I added two Rarity 50 Rarity Rings. I've added item Rarity support, which breaks my damage a little bit. Not great for t7s, especially when I get a hard map. But this map isn't too hard, and I'm going to showcase a t17 with this, and then to try to prove to you that Rarity has a pretty big impact on the amount of gold you get. I'm going to showcase a map with basically reduced Rarity. I'm going to showcase a map where I just have my normal stuff on, where I don't have any increased Rarity. And then I'm going to show a synthesis.

map while I have this Rarity stuff on to try to give you a comparison of okay look at the Gold we get on each of these cases so let's go ahead in this t17 example. I'll show you Cas you a map of the strategy I've been doing to make some gold and then we'll look at these other cases and see where that leads us to some conclusions. Now this map uh is mostly a pretty easy map minus the fact I rolled 50% less area so I do apologize for the fact that ah I have a lot of tier effect uh 93. I think will be okay for clearing we'll see when we actually go to to clear it it might be kind of bch. Now um o Vine orb that's a nice way to start um now I do have on this um lost my train of thought but anyways I was saying uh I think even though we have 93% less it seems like we'll probably be okay for quick it's not really ideal de um I I usually roll

over this mod, but I just wanted to give a decent example of like not two crazy mods, so that way I wouldn't die on the video. I wouldn't risk it 'cause there's some really dangerous mods where it's like, yeah, I can run it, I'll probably die a couple times, but it's a little bit awkward. I don't want to show you guys that footage of me just standing on a SE, uh, sering xar Rune, and then dying because it turns off my regen, thus disabling my recovery. Now, you'll notice whenever I look at these things, I'm basically just looking for qu on the, uh, on the Alters. That's the big takeway, the thing I care about from those. So, a lot of times we will, uh, we will just browse pass. If we see the double line, we know that's Quant. Unfortunately for me, minus PDR makes me PK my character with the skill, so I can't do that. Uh, I will also say this, uh.

you don't have to do in t7s uh it's great. It has DD monsters. I'm probably going to die to that. That DD thing. Why on Earth did they add it back? I do not know. Oh veran wild. I was going to say this Mar Wildwood seems pretty nerfed. I'm not I Ian. I need to test it more when I with my uh runs and stuff, but it does not seem to get very many very much loot. Um up but anyways aside from all of that um there are basically a lot of altars that can kind of brick your character like for example minus res stuff like that or reduce defense per Frenzy so there's a few Alters this character can't do and I have to skip but ideally I want to click as many of those Quant Rarity Alters as possible cuz it increases effect. I will also say this the best maps you ever will get is when you get some decent Quant Alters but on top of the Quant Alters you also get um yeah DD what oh

fre I hate that so much. I don't they need they need to get rid of that monster. It's just it's old DD. It goes off within half a second, and it does ridiculous amounts of damage. The red DD in t7s is just stupid. If you get the t7 and you start fighting those monsters, you will you will know exactly what I'm talking about. They're very obnoxious, which I feel bad for people playing hardcore cuz if I was playing, if I was playing hardcore, I'd have to take whenever I saw that monster in the map. I would just leave it. It just does way too much damage, and it goes off so freaking fast. Um, I give you an distracted mid-sentence. I was going to say the best kind of maps you get when you're like really trying to push the gold Mount is when you roll the Prismatic storm thing. DD guys going to die, please, when you roll the Prismatic storm because as far as I can tell that

definitely has a um multiplier on the amount of uh Quant and Rarity, as far as I can tell. The Prismatic storm, you click that thing and then the rest of the map starts dropping so much extra dang. Two divines in one map, this is, this is kind of wild. This is not normally how this goes, but uh, I guess uh, we woke up on the lucky come. Just, oh, I just like, I hate the DD monster so much. I just, I want to loot, I want to play the game. Why is there an infinite damage freaking monster? Well, I tried to pick a map that wouldn't be cancer, but it just doesn't matter if, if you roll that mob type, um, you'll, you'll, I mean, people who play t7 know what I'm talking about, that, that monster type used to be only Abomination, uh, and everybody hated in an Abomination, and what they did is they decided, they decided that they were going to add it, uh, into every map. It can now occur in all t7s and it still has the old DD.

animation that's instantaneous and nearly invisible to see, and does ridiculous amounts of damage, and I hate it. I hate it, oh so freaking much. It is the most annoying freaking thing. Sorry, I was trying to get less annoying about it. Trust me, if you guys run into this monster type this rant DD and t7s. It is just the stupidest thing, and I don't know. I, for the life of me, do not know why they not only didn't get rid of it but added it to every other D7 map. They did good in making the maps have um a lot of gold. It did good. Oh, this is what I'm talking about. Prismatic storm. If I got this early in the map, our goal would have been through the roof. Usually when I get a prismatic storm early and enlightened, dang man, this map is crazy. I have not. This is like disproportionately good. Lo, normally I don't drop like Divine orbs and lights. I have

not been dropping that sort of stuff, okay, and I need to clear out this last little area here. Um, don't look at me, don't look at me, I'm embarrassed. I promise this isn't normal, okay, you have to understand. Okay, I have 93 less AOE normally when I attack, it kills everything very quickly. But since I have no AOE, okay, the monsters don't die as fast, it takes forever. The day to get the. I'm going to make as many excuses as possible for all I know. I died to DD there again, I don't think it was though, I think I just got shot by a ton of monsters all at once. Um, as I was saying, when you get the Prismatic Shrine, you get, uh, essentially a Quant Rarity multiplier as far as I can tell, or an increase or something. And the maps where you get that, you get a lot more gold. Now when we started this map, we were at about 14,000 gold, we are now at 220, so that.

was 80,000 gold in 5 minutes or 5 minutes and 40 seconds. Granted, I was very distracted during the whole time. I didn't clear that very efficiently, but hopefully that gives you a showcase of you can do quite a lot of gold per map. I've gotten, I think, my highest has been maybe 110k plus, somewhere around there, and I only just swapped to this extra rarity recently. Um, to hit that. Now let's talk about running bad rarity. Let's go ahead and swap. Oh, shoot. I had Trinity in. Well, I, I forgot to put in item rarity support for that map, but that was 80k without the item rarity support. Now we're going to put in a bad rarity situation where we get actively. We put on reduced rarity. So if we put all these on, we take off our gold flask. If we go over to miss, we have 105 minus rarity. Now we're going to go ahead and do a synth map, and then we'll do another synth map, and then we'll do another.

synth map, and we're just going to try to showcase the differences it makes as we go from minus Rarity to just regular Rarity to increased Rarity, and give a Showcase of the coinage. We have 220,000 starting this map, and I just want to showcase the difference it does make as we go throughout them. Oh, it feels good to have AOE again. So many mods and t7s are just like, Oh, they could be really frustrating. The other part is it's like I am doing it to myself a little bit 'cause I'm clicking maps with um, a bunch of mod tier effects. So, the 50% less AOE, which would only be like quasi bad, becomes 93 less AOE, which makes it so like the clear just gets deleted, right? Um, we're just going to go through this map. I give a little Showcase of what it looks like. I'm not going to bother with the boss 'cause the boss only drops a few hundred coins, I think. Just clearing the map should be enough of a uh.

demonstration of what I'm talking about out here in terms of Rarity. Not only that, running increased Rarity, you do get, uh, you know, the chance of getting some valuable uniques and stuff like that. Not, not insane, not guaranteed, probably not going to happen, but it is going to be a lot higher chance to occur than before you ran the Rarity to begin with. I'm mostly running the Rarity because I want the gold. Um, yeah, you can see that this thing is like super sparse. And if you've ever done these synth Maps, you know that normally they're dropping, you know, quite a bit gold. And we're getting like stacks of 20, stacks of 30, just very, very sparsely throughout this map. So hopefully I'm making this demonstration pretty dang clear about you that Rarity is affecting the gold. I'm, I'm reducing the Rarity and our gold count is dropping to non-existent, right? I've cleared everything but 21 monsters. I've gotten a grand total of 2,000 gold. If you've ran this map before, you know 2000.

gold is an insane outlier for Rewritten. I think it's the best of the synth Maps. Normally, I was getting around, I want to say, 10 to 20,000 gold. So let's go ahead and demonstrate that. Let's put on the setup where we don't have increased Rarity, but we don't have decreased Rarity. I had a ring that was basically a mirrored ring with double t1s, and it was like minus and reverse. Uh, that was this ring right here, 105 reduc Rarity. So that's what we were showcasing. Now we're going to do the setup where we have no increases to Rarity, but no reductions either. Um, so the Baseline case, the normal case, we'll showcase this, and then we'll take a look at the increased Rarity support to try to demonstrate the, uh, the, uh, the contrast between them. Now you can already see as we're killing monsters, there's more gold piles dropping, and the gold piles are of higher numbers. One thing I noticed when I started swapping over to increase

Rarity is a lot of the gold piles. It's not just that you drop more gold piles, but they start being higher numbers. Like when you get to 100 gold plus, they start having like a bolder text. Like you saw that 163 there had a bolder text. You could definitely visibly notice the difference, at least I did when I put on just the Rarity Flats with 60 Rarity. I started noticing the bolder text was occurring a lot more often right away. It was very evident to me, or at least I thought it was. So we'll go through and we'll clear out this map, and we'll see what it gives us in terms of gold. Granted, we were at, see, we've already gotten 10k gold, and we haven't cleared the whole map yet, right? We'll go ahead and we'll clear the whole map. We'll pick up all the gold, and we'll give a little bit of a look-see here. So this map gave us, we started at, was it 224 or whatever 'cause we

had 222, and I think we got 2K gold, or was it 220 to 222? I don't even remember. I should have kept better track. I guess it could have like transferred all my gold to Kings March every single map to get like an exact number, but if you're watching the video, you can go back and look at the exact numbers. Um, should be easy enough to do a little bit of arithmetic there and not a big problem. So this map, there's some gold up here, 28 monsters left, that's basically full cleared, and you'll notice we now have 241,000, which is roughly, I think that we were at 222 or 224, that's somewhere in the range of about 20,000 to 17,000 gold, and that was with no reduced Rarity, so you can see there, 100% reduced Rarity, 2K gold, right regular, 20K gold, that's a big difference. Now it is not going to just be an insane strict multiplier, but it

should be a noticeable difference we'll see as we go through this next map. Now, where we add in the increased Rarity we now have from our character. Um, if I look at the correct skill, the Volcanic Fisher, 160 Rarity. And if I click the Flash, 219 Rarity. So that's just Rarity on rings, an item Rarity support, and Rarity on Gold Flask. Gold Flask will sometimes be up, sometimes not be up, that kind of varies. Now, let's go ahead and showcase another map with this. What's that, baby girl? You ready to eat? When we get you some food? All right, hold on, guys. I'll be right back. Okay, got the baby. Rolled some breakfast. Now let's get into this map to showcase what it looks like doing a lot of increased Rarity we have. Of course, on this map, 241,000 Gold to start. Now, let's go ahead and clear the whole map and let's see where that puts us Gold-wise. I'll say that I feel like, um, when I first started equipping the Rarity stuff, it definitely to me

felt as though I was seeing more of the larger gold piles, like the boulder numbers, the 150, the 160. I felt like that was just a more common thing that occurred, whether or not that's actually true or just me being a potato brain. I don't really know, but it did definitely seem like a very noticeable difference. I will say the returns felt diminishing, like every time I added more Rarity, it felt like it did less and less versus the last time, but it still seemed like it was a difference regardless, like the difference in running just the gold flask and no item Rarity support and no Rarity on rings on my t17 maps. I felt like I was getting close to 50 to 60,000 each map, whereas now it felt more like 60, 70, 80k was a lot more consistent, and then hitting 100K, 110k numbers I didn't even hit previously. So new higher highs, whether or not, you know, maybe those certain Maps were like super well rolled or whatever it was. Hopefully

it gives that demonstration. I also want to say that I don't think it's necessary to be doing t7s necessarily to make good gold. I think if you apply good Rarity and a lot of mob density, your Maps doing shrines and stuff like that, you still can get very good gold. Like you look at the gold map we just did where we did 80,000 gold. That map took 5 minutes. It was a long time investment. Part of the reason t17 gives a good amount of gold is just because it's a very large layout with a lot of total monsters. But the gold per hour, I don't think is necessarily that much better. I think the main difference in gold per hour is that you get a bit more Quant because t7s generally roll with higher uh Quant multiplier mods if that makes sense. Like there's more of a uh kind of impacts the right word um. Now we'll see if this demonstration is clear enough. Last map we got somewhere between 17 and 2,000 and now we've cleared the

map, and we got roughly around 27,000 gold. Now, that hopefully is a decent demonstration of it. I don't know if last map, maybe the last map was just a bad map versus this map was a good map. Like, you could argue stuff like that. I don't think you can argue away the fact I put on reduced Rarity and I got 2,000 gold. Hopefully that gives you a look into how impactful Rarity is. It's definitely a thing where the Rarity means less and less and less. Like, for example, the map where I got 177,000 versus the map where I got 27,000. That's like 200 Rarity. I don't know if it's something where if I had just 60 Rarity on, I would have gotten 24,000 or something like that. Like to me, when I first put on the Rarity, it was a very sizable difference. As I put on more Rarity, it felt like it was still doing something, but it was less and less and less. So, the takeaway

from this video is if you can try to fit in 50 to 100 Rarity. You know put it on rings put it on like a gold flask. If you have an extra flash slot just to use one full or if you just have an extra a little bit extra damage at an item Rarity support that would be my recommendation to you if you're looking to push gold to the limits and really start farming it better and better for the case of being able to pay your workers for example right now in Kings Mars just give you a little example of what it starts looking like mappers are very expensive and I'll make a video a separate video about mappers but I'll just go ahead and show you like my current cost per hour as you upgrade your town the cost gets more and more and more and when I first was early on in the town I was at like 10k gold now that I've added in mappers I've been upgrading my dudes 60k golden to that

sounds like a lot. That sounds like more than you can maybe Farm, but I guarantee you had a little bit of Rarity in your Maps or into your gear. You add a little bit more density in your Maps, you won't even think about it, and you'll over sustain the gold, and it'll be completely fine. Hopefully, I've given a little bit of a demonstration of what you can expect. If you want to push more gold, it is all about that Rarity to some extent. Diminishing returns is what I can see, but it definitely impacts it. A little bit of Rarity goes a long way. I hope this helps your gold Farm.
