[Music] [Music] There seems to be something truly meaningful and profound in doing what your deep self wants to do and finding flow doing it. There's honestly no greater feeling on earth than when we can bring forth our genius doing what we are inclined or even made to do. Now you may be asking yourself right off the bat, it's like, I don't know what that is. It doesn't necessarily matter if you know your great creative purpose in this life. What matters is that we start prioritizing flow today. Today, because flow is such a miraculous instrument. It is the key, the key to mental health, to increased vitality and magnetism. It's also the key to accomplishments and success in any endeavor. When we prioritize flow above all else, it is a truly miraculous thing. So you know, you may not know your creative purpose in this life, but I know you have an intuitive inkling right now of things that you want to do. Maybe it's a skill you want to acquire, maybe it's a movement art you want to get, you want to

master, right? Maybe it's a creative craft you want to really put your full weight into starting a YouTube channel, writing, painting, your art form, your expression, whatever it may be. So those are the few avenues we can find flow in. But what exactly is flow? Quick here, flow is when adequate challenge is met by adequate skill with the full engagement of your heart and mind, my friends. When we care about something, right? When we deeply care about what we're doing and we create the container of deep work of, you know, this hour, this two hours, this three hours, I'm gonna put in the work. I'm gonna fully engage, no distractions, with all of my, you know, mental and emotional energy. We access genius. This is where genius flows forth from. And man, it feels so good to be good at something and to do it well. It feels so good. But also, when we find flow states, positive emotions, right? Happiness ensues because, you know, these endorphins are being released, serotonin and norepinephrine are flooding our brain and our chemistry. Our chemistry is

changing as we get into the flow state, as our consciousness heightens, our awareness heightens. We all suddenly can start thinking more laterally, connecting dissimilar ideas right, reacting at like lightning-fast speeds. Have you ever gotten into, you know, like ping-pong? I think of, for myself, but maybe it's some kind of sport, some kind of racket game where it's like you don't even need to see the ball anymore, you're just moving on instinct, you know, something deeper is taking over. We can think about flow as the genius within, aka the subconscious mind coming to the surface, coming free. Now the average Joe, when he works, it's not something he lights himself up about, he doesn't fully engage with it, you know, every 20 minutes he checks his phone, he does all these other things because he doesn't know the latent potential waiting within. And flow doesn't seem that fun when you're not in it, you have to like have some will and discipline to get into it, but the average Joe doesn't know this, and because he doesn't know this, he goes

through his life without ever really cultivating skill and genius in anything. He goes through life without ever truly knowing himself and finding the secret to such fulfillment and happiness and success. Now, the Super Joe, on the other hand, the Super Joe is completely dedicated to deep work in all things. Whatever that warrior, that Super Joe is going to do, you know he comes into it with that warrior spirit, which is the critical foundational element to getting it to flow. Is that do or die mentality, that impeccability of the warrior. When we move with impeccability at the gym, you know, in a conversation with somebody, telling a story, you know, working on a video, doing our working on our business, whatever it is, when we move with that impact ability, all of a sudden the subconscious starts to erupt to the surface because your whole being is engaged with that activity. You know, people feel this impulse all the time, like your grandfather just telling a story on the patio or, you know, the mother playing with the children. Like flow is everywhere around us if we live as warriors.

and when you start moving towards that super joe right, as you start moving towards that warrior state, what happens is you start building skill and getting acquainted with your genius. You start developing the deep gifts within and pulling resources from your core. If that's not self-actualization or the path to it, I really don't know what what else would be. So I'm here to encourage you to create a deep work container today, tomorrow, my friends. If we only do what we're told to do and we half-ass it, we'll never know the joys of life. We'll never know the genius within. Create a deep work container for what you're inclined to do, what you intuitively know is right for you, and get at it, you know. And you're gonna find when you start, it's hard. There's a level of discipline, will engagement that is necessary. This threshold of energy must be met in order to access that state. And the thing is, my friends, is creativity, problem-solving, it implies chaos and challenge. It is like almost every time I go to

write I feel overwhelmed. I don't want to do it. Resistance is killing me, you know, but I have to find that warrior spirit. I have to dig deep into something to find a way to get myself into the craft, into the deep work container. And the more you do it, the more it becomes a habit. And if you, especially young men, like if you can start building the skill of deep work and flow, you'll be successful at whatever you put you, whatever you go into, whatever you want to do because nobody else really does it. Like if you want to be work on it for yourself, if you want to go into a new job, a new field, learn a skill, learn an instrument, like do anything, if you know how to do deep work and you've trained yourself in that way and you train the mechanism of flow within man, you're going to be, you're going to skyrocket past your peers, no matter your skill, innate genius, innate talent, and innate smarts. Whatever, flow and deep work triumphs all. So creativity is challenging.

but it's also my haven. I've realized my friends, like just recently a few months back, I took a trip and I took a long break from content creation of any form. I just wanted to be done with writing. It was too overwhelming. I wanted to be done with, you know, worrying about money and work and purpose and creativity and all that. I wanted to live my life and be young, you know, as most of us want to do. And it's crazy because so many people want that, but I've had it many times in my life and almost without fail two weeks in, three weeks in, life starts to become more dull. Like novel experiences can only excite for so long, you know, like pleasures, company, social stimulation, all these things, there's a threshold and then the returns start to diminish, diminishing marginal returns on all of that. And I find myself longing for something more, you know, and what that longing is, is for challenge, for stress. And that's not stress, that challenge is what gives way to flow. So my friends, if you're facing

resistance. You know, to learning yoga, guitar, your creative work, your creative purpose. Know that that resistance, that chaos, that overwhelm, your feeling, is the necessary foundation. It's the necessary springboard for inspiration and illumination. Along the idea. Also, at some point, the obstacle will become the way. The more challenging a problem is, if your skill is up to the occasion, right, the more exultant you'll feel in its accomplishment. The greater resistance you feel to doing your work, to getting into your deep work, your creative flow, the more resistance you feel, the greater the exaltation on the other side. And where does cheerfulness come from but from victory, my friends, from victory, from getting past beyond yourself in a way. The last point here is remember when I talked about those feel-good hormones that get released, that heightened alertness, that heightened state of consciousness when you're in flow. That carries into the day. Have you ever noticed the happiest times of your life? I've been reflecting on this. For me, undoubtedly, childhood and children literally live in the flow state almost the entire time.

right happiest time other happiest times is when I feel inspired and determined in my creative endeavors when I'm creating a lot of flow in my life when I'm doing martial arts well you know when I'm writing well when I'm creating well when those things are going good I have to jazz you see when you hit a flow state in the morning or a flow state you know in the afternoon you carry this heightened energy into life this charisma this magnetism you know and the thing is is when we exercise our volition our will in action right and we accomplish things especially like small things one at a time that leads into flow eventually right our personal power grows with each success with each accomplishment like the being wants to exercise the volition but oftentimes we're only doing what we're told to do and we're doing it half-assed measure and then entertaining ourselves the rest of the day and we never find that jazz that juiciness that we really want to move through life well in our power in our

kingship. So, in conclusion, my friends, prioritize flow today in your creative purpose. Identify it and set up deep work containers around that. That will encourage flow states. When we get hit flows every day, positive emotions, feelings, chemicals erupt inside of us. Consciousness gets heightened. We're more tapped in, on point, in our jazz, in our element. We are juicy, right? And flow leads to fulfillment. The unleashing of your genius, the bringing forth of what is within, and the highest meaning really you can aspire to. In my experience thus far, flow and creativity has been my haven, yet an overwhelming curse, and I bear it. I bear it well because I like. There's nothing more meaningful to me in life. Yeah, there's family, there's, you know, like, there's love, there's other things that are very meaningful, but nothing really moves the soul as much as doing what you're made to do and doing it well.
