Path of Exile 3.25: Anticipated Game Changes and Additions

hello and welcome Exiles to my predictions for 3.25. I did a bingo board yesterday with Twitch. I want to go through each one of these squares, why I put them on here. Some of the items on the list I think are highly likely, some of the items are probably just a little bit of cope based on my own hopes and dreams. Now to start off with ancestral totems deleted. I think this is quite simply based on the fact they've had a dead totem in every single one of their teasers. I think they're just saying, hey, we've killed totems, they're gone. Maybe incal totems are just gone entirely. Next up, we have the new bases. Now, if you notice in one of the teasers, there was a night weave robe. This is a ES base that was roughly like 60 to 70 ES higher than our current Val regalia in terms of the base ES number. I believe there's going to be a base even better than that based on what we've seen of how they do

bases. The Val Galia artwork is always the top tier base, same with the other base types in the decks or the, uh, in categories or the hybrid categories. They always repeat the same artworks like five times as you level up. There are certain bases every like three levels that's better than the last base. And the night weave robe has the artwork of the spider silk robe, which is the tier 2 base currently. So, I believe there's actually a better base than night weave that they're going to add. And they're going to add bases for every single, uh, body armor evasion, all the different dexin attribute, Affinity, uh, body armor types. I believe they're going to add. Now these new bases would imply a heavy buff to jug and trickster because they have asenti nodes that scale based on how good your base stats are on your body armor. A lot of people have implied maybe this means they're going to nerf them to compensate. I honestly think that jug and trickster are just going to be stronger.

going to the next patch. I don't think they're going to touch these ascendancies unless they're doing specifically an entire ascendency rework. They just haven't been really buffing or nerfing ascendancies at all as of late. They've mostly just been doing like, Hey, if we're touching an ascendency, we're doing a whole overhaul on it. They've only been doing two ascendancies at a time, and that's been the case for like the last two years. Next up, one Mana man, one Mana left. Conor, I think he's gotten away with it for too long. Mana Forge arrows is a little bit stupid as a support. Effectively, if you spend 10,000 Mana or whatever, the way the support works is you can have up to a 10,000% more multiplier, and there's no cap on it. And Battle Mes cry, I think with the war cry changes, Battle Mes cry is also problematic for things like strength stackers. And um, I think most likely I could see these two things taking some

pretty big hits 'cause they are quite strong, and they are simply on the very forefront of what you see in terms of somebody being op. You see Steve's name in lights every single day. He's gotten to a new delve depth. Now this build is popular, but I don't think it's really at the top line of popularity. It isn't everywhere, but when you have the build pushing 50,000 plus depth, I'm sure there are GGG devs that are very aware and can see, Okay, we have one type of build that's dealing billions of damage numerically. That doesn't make sense in our games. There's a good chance they readjust this. We will see. Next up, we have the new drop-only Giga mods for items. I have this. This could go two ways. Basically, they teased a 121 flat life roll. This could be, for example, they're adding the higher tier life that could occur on body armor to the other gear slots. This could be a drop-only mod or something else entirely. I think maybe

they're going to add some more special drop-only mods. Drop-only mods are part of the ways you make items on the ground valuable, and this is one of the big problems Pee currently has. You don't really want to pick up items because there's no reason to, and I think drop-only mods are a way to solve that where you get special mods based on it being a dropped item versus a crafted item. But we'll see. I don't know if that's going to be the case. DD Nerf hex blast, Nerf Frost bow, ice snowa Nerf. This is basically my top three outlier skills in terms of power that I would pick out of a hat, and I'd say these skills are the most obviously broken skills in the game currently. FR all bol of Vice Nova is just better than every other normal self-cast spell in the game. It does about 2,000 plus per effectiveness if you normalize for one second of casting, and the next closest thing is

ball lightning. If you're pretending you hit all 13 times, which requires a lot of AOE investment, and that's only at around 1,000% Effectiveness. So the point is this skill deals about five times the normal damage of most other skills in the archetype. And if you're looking at the bad skills, it deals 10 times the damage, so probably get a Nerf there. Hex blast is a similar situation where it just outclasses all other mind skills and outclasses them by a very large margin. And then DD is the skill that does damage when you have no gear. It's the skill that just deals ridiculous amounts of flat based on B based on life and monsters, etc. And it's clearly maybe run its course because it's been a top popular build. We will see if these get nerfed. That's just my top three picks for skills that would be on the chopping block. I would put pennet brand of dissipation on this list as well, except for one key factor. I think it's like I I

I feel like it's a double jeopardy thing. Pen brand dissipation just took a massive Nerf, and it's still one of the best spells in the game. And it's by a good margin, like it's competi. Like for example, if Arch Mage could use Brands, I believe they would use penet brand over ice no and frostbolts. And Ice no and frostbolts is insane, but I think it's a double jeopardy situation where they're not going to n fit twice in a row. And I think, uh, there's a very good chance pen of random dissipation is, uh, best in slot skill next league. So, uh, that's just, uh, little background there. Scarabs rebalancing, I think this is like this is probably just a free Square. They're obviously going to keep reworking. They did a huge overhaul last League where they added a bunch of scarabs. It was all over the map. They're probably going to take a look at certain scarabs and be like, hm, do we want people hitting level

three hours. I don't know, so we'll see about that curation teaching. There's a lot of scarabs that are just kind of outliers. There scarabs that are seem useless scarabs seem pointless. It's all over the map, so this is probably a free Square. Another one I have is dual wield overhaul. For the longest time ever since they changed dual wield and made it so it doesn't have the extra damage multiplier ever since they upgraded the amount of flat you could get on two hands and the amount of damage you could get on bows and how good Shields are dual wield has been a complete uh non-existent thing. It's just never really a good option for most cases except for things like armor stacker where equipping the second sword literally doubles your damage because you get your damage increases doubles but for example dual wield is just generally not used at all. I could see a dual wield overhaul and I think this is going to tie in with glad they've teased a lot of Showcases of characters who are

dual wielding. We've seen dual wield Cyclone. We've seen dual wield sler bleed. I could see a dual wield overhaul happening because right now it's just an archetype that doesn't really have a place, and I think they maybe want to address that. Another thing I could see suppression Nerf. Suppression is just, how do I put this, most bosses, the most dangerous attacks bosses have are spells, and this is just a no-brainer obvious defensive layer. It doesn't cost a lot to get into, it's a few passive points on the tree. If you're next to the inveterate wheel, you always grab that wheel, it's the strongest wheel on the entire tree for any build in existence. Um, I think they may be going to Nerf suppression, or they're going to be doing some relook at defensive layers in general. We will see. Another one I have on here is a Nim Nerf, and my logic behind this, you might be able to say Nim is a Chase item, it deserves to

be strong mawood is a Chase item. It deserves to be strong. These are different cases. I view nimas specifically as a problematic uh issue in terms of it makes every projectile skill in various archetypes just outclass the other skills. It's like kind of a Balan thing like the second you include nimas into the equation, it makes molten strike just way better than all the other options in its category. It makes splitting seal just way better than all the other options in its category because of what it does. It just I think it's kind of a balancing nightmare. I don't know if they'll actually adjust it, but it's one of those things that I think makes some level of sense versus other Chase uniques. I don't think are as much of a it ruins your ability to choose various skills uh t77 rework. Uh this is I say get MF players out of my bossing content mainly. This is a joke about the 100% more Scarab 100% more currency all these extra

multipliers they put on t17. I think it just is. I don't know. It's all over the place. t7s were meant to be a stepping stone for more bossing content, something where you kill the boss to get to the next boss, and then they became basically they outclassed all the other ways of farming in t16s and lower in terms of like you just should be doing it on t-17s because you get more currency, more scarabs, etc. Hopefully they readjust this. I think they were just way overreacting in how much they buffed t7s when they were doing all these reworks the first week of last League. We'll see if they adjust them or not. I don't really know. Next up, I could see a reservation efficiency change along with ores being weaker in general. Now I base this assumption on the trailer where they showcase the quality of life for AAS. They showcased a determination with a 26.04% reservation, and that determination had 50% more

armor, which is more than you can get on the current level. 20 determination and 11,031 flat arm. Which is less than you would have on a level. 20 determination. What I think this implies is number one to get to a 26% reservation or the one they have there, you need 92% reservation efficiency on a 50% aura. That is a ridiculous amount. I don't think people understand how stupid of a tree you have to make to hit that number and let it make sense with the fact they also had purity of elements and malevolence and Clarity all on their Mana pool with all with having like, I think they have maybe 15% unreserved. I actually like went in in-game, tried to reserve the exact amount to match the amount they had in the video. The point is the amount of reservation efficiency required is something where they would get three small clusters with 50% reservation efficiencies or they would just have a ridiculous amount of reservation efficiency on their helmet on like multiple passive wheels throughout the tree on their body.

armor with like maybe the graveyard mod. You know, stuff like that. Stuff that doesn't really quite make sense. And I could see there being a scenario where they make reservation efficiency more common on the tree, which could explain why the character has so much reservation efficiency in the video they showed. And then, on top of that, they're also maybe downscaling the power of AAS, thus giving you the ability to get more auras more easily, but the auras as a whole are weaker and less impactful on a case-by-case basis. I don't know, that's just a theory. And that's my theory on that one. Ivory Tower not getting nerfed. This is one of the things where I think Ivory Tower rith are overpowered. I use them on a regular basis because I believe they're very, very, very strong. A lot of people have told me they're going to get nerfed, they're going to get nerfed. I don't really think they're going to get nerfed. And mainly, that's due to I believe GGG.

more Nerfs on popularity than they Nerf on power. There's examples where they Nerf on power if it's a very outlandish case or some very obvious thing that's getting, you know, put on the Global Spectrum for everyone to see every single day. You know, non and lights of Steve popping up 50,000 delve. I think there's a difference between 3% player rate items like wrath with an ivory Tower even though they're strong. And I think they're much stronger. Like, for example, I think they're much stronger than lightning coil. Lightning coil is good. I think it's a great will way to deal with fizz. I think there's just stronger things. There's more scaling in the game you can do, but lightning coil has 8% play rate. I think it's more likely they would Nerf something like lightning coil and something like Ivory Tower W just because they Nerf on popularity. And I don't think it's in as in their face as it should be in terms.

of if they were actually going to Nerf it. That's just my personal feel and theory of it. Here's a free Square, which is high. I mark, which is hopefully how they will start the trailer for the reveal stream on the 18th. Next up, I think there might be fancy new Ward stuff. Maybe there are Ward-related body armors. Maybe there's new Ward bases. Maybe they're reworking Ward. This is just solely based on the league is called sellers of the calger. The Cal gens are when we got Expedition, when we got War gear to begin with. Maybe they're going to take a relook at this and change it around. Just a hunch. It could be possible. I don't know. After that, I have Toto coms returning to co lately. They've had every couple leagues. They've had a league mechanic they add back to core where they've rebalanced it. They've reworked it. They've changed it a bit to make it work. For example, sanctum is a good example of a league mechanic.

that they weren't ready to add DEC right away, and then they did later on. They had some changes to it. TOA, I think, fits the bill for a league mechanic that could fit in the current game. They don't have to add it to mapping, they don't have to add it into the Scarab system. It can be its own separate thing outside of maps. They already did the work of rebalancing tattoos, and I think they would want to add those drops into the core pool in some way. And they could do it by adding Toto back to core, give Toto back its uniques. I could see that happening. Maybe they'd rework how the mechanic works a little bit. They had a lot of voice acting. It was a really cool separate Zone. I could see TOA coming back to core. That's my top theory on one that I think could actually happen. Now, one that I don't think could happen, but I just love to cope, uh, is Recombinator back to core. This is still by far the

most fun I've ever had crafting in Poe, and I love to craft. And I I am like a drug addict to rec dominators, and I just want them back, okay? I just I know they're op. I just I love crafting with them. I I don't think they're coming back, but I'm going to put this on my bingo board till till the day I die, uh, and maybe they'll come back eventually. After that, I have adorned not nerfed. This is similar to the Ivory Tower wrath pit thing, except for different reasoning. Adorn is one of the things where you obviously see a lot of people say it deserves to be Nerfs. It's it's too op. You see it everywhere, and 100% agree. I think it is if you minmax a build, is the correct Choice 100% of the time. Now, Connor will say, oh, but Smalls are good sometimes, uh, I I don't I don't necessarily agree with that. Smalls are good in I think like one case that I can think of that I've actually seen Smalls.

work, and that's armor stacker. Outside of that, Adorned is, I think, correct for basically literally every build in the game. And it changes the tree to be homogenized where everybody goes out to clusters. I don't personally like this, and currently, if I'm going to max a build, I am using this. But I don't think it's going to get nerfed. And I have the reasoning of I think it has Mage blood defense. I think it's one of those things where people, well, they look at and they'll say, Hey, it's a Chase item. It takes a lot to craft the jewels. It deserves to be strong. And it's only been here for two leagues. It hasn't been, and the league before this, it was only at like 8% play rate. Right now, it's only a 20% player rate. There's still a lot of items that are higher on play rate than Adorned is. I think it's going to escape by another League unnerfed, even though I believe wholeheartedly it deserves to be.

nerfed. If it does get nerfed, I'm hoping they just revert it so it doesn't work with cluster jewels, and they fix the bug where it just gets disabled every Zone. Cuz originally when it was added to the game, it had a line that said you couldn't use it with jewels and cluster Jewels, which protected the problem where you would just go to every single cluster on the outside of the tree. Um, and they had to take that away because it was causing a bug or something. I don't 100% know, but we'll see. I don't think it's going to get nerfed. I'd put it like 70%. I think 70% chance it doesn't get nerfed, 30% chance it does. Next up, I could see a Fizz taken as Nerf. I think this is all tying into I think they're going to be doing a pretty big rebalance or restructure of defenses in Poe, and this is based on the fact they're clearly new bases. There's clearly something they're changing with.

auras. Both of these are defensive-related stats. Fizz taken as is currently what people do a lot of times for Fizz, and armor feels less relevant. Like, I could see a scenario where they rework overwhelm, and they maybe dial back fist taken as. I don't know, but that, I think, is a possible thing that could happen. It's on the top of my list of things that I think that G would probably lean into nerfing if they were going to try to dial something back and dial something else up and try to restructure the defensive landscape of PoE. Next up, synth items back to synth Maps. Remove Vivid vultures. This is just something where why do we run synth Maps? Why are synth items solely based on Vivid vulturing? This stupid unrelated thing to synth. Why can't it just be we draw cool synth items in synth Maps? I don't know. I think the whole Vivid vulture culture of just rolling implicits a thousand times is stupid.

would this is just complete cope but I would love it if one synth items Dro in synth maps and two maybe they rework how high their waiting is to drop good mods so that way it's realistic that somebody could drop a triple perfect synth item and then take away this garbage where the rich guy just rolls the item till it's perfect I don't know I kind of hate this whole system I've done it multiple times just because it is the way to make the best item but I would hope they take a relook at synth items I don't know if they're going to but it's just cope and I can cope a couple times on this list like accommodators next up new base is at least one tier higher than night weave shown on all as body armor slots I mentioned this earlier over here basically the theory is if you look at the body armor slots in Pue you will notice the five or six artworks reoccur like three or four times as you're going from Level you 15 all the way to 68 or

whatever it is and the night weave robe is the spider silk body armor artwork which to me implies there's a Val regalia artwork above it, and I think that's going to be the same thing on the Dex pieces on the armor, on the strength pieces, the strength decks, the in strength, and the int deck armors, which will be an upgrade for jug trickster, for example, and every class in general, because new bases means new power. Next up, I could see a quality life change. This is just one of my quality life changes. I would just, you know, I think it would be cool if they did. They've been doing a lot of Banger quality life changes, and this is one where I think it would be a no-brainer. I could see Mark being like, yeah, let's just do it. That's a stupid thing no one likes it. And the example is whenever you're doing an elder map, you have to see Elder go suck, suck, suck, suck, suck, suck, and it's a 10c, 15c, 20 second time.

loss every single time you do an elder map, and then you have the same animations play every single time you beat one phase of the Elder Guardians. It's the reason why I look at Elder Guardians, and I'm like, I just don't want to do this. I'm happy to go do Shaper Guardians. I'm happy to go do the Cirrus Guardians. The animation time on Elder, just like, it's just annoying. Like, I'll do them, but if I was going to go set up to go farm a bunch of Guardians, I would just chain them together. I wouldn't really want to do Elder Gardens, and it's mainly because of this. Every time I get to those phases, it just feels stupid, where I'm just constantly just sitting there for 10-15 seconds, just wasting my time twiddling my thumbs. I could see this being a quality of life change where Marks looks at it. It's like, Yeah, no one likes it. It's not really doing much for the game right now. It was

cool. Originally when it first happened, when they introduced Elder and Elder was destroying these Guardians and corrupting them or whatever, but I think it's time for The Elder, the Elder suck thing to go. I don't know, some new tzero Chase items related to new base items. This is just something I think. When they add new bases, there's a good chance they add uniques related to those bases, and given how strong those bases are, it's probably going to be some powerful uniques. And I think that could mean some new tzer in the pool. Something we don't really have a lot of is t0 armors, as far as I know. Not really like I can't think of any. I can think of tzero weapons, I can think of tzero jewelry. I just can't really think of tzero armors. And maybe this is some tzero armors get added. Right now, armor slots are basically just your end game. It's usually some sort of rare, or it's you're building around some build.

enabling item like Ivory Tower. Uh, we'll see, maybe they'll add new TZ armors, but that's, uh, that's just a theory. Rage is getting a complete rework. I am basing this off of the teasers that we've shown where one, we can generate more rage than we've ever been able to generate on hit. The examples being, uh, the item pickup randus teaser. He, the dude, did an earthquake. He hit and killed eight enemies, and he got eight rage in that one hit. I think it was eight rage, roughly 8-76 n. It was around that range. I was trying to look at the bar. I think it was eight. And that's something you cannot do currently unless you grabbed a rage on hit axe cluster, which he was a maze, so he couldn't get that Ron hit gloves Berserker. And then like six Ron hit blood scent clusters, which are large clusters are on the outside. It's like it makes no sense. It would make no sense whatsoever. Um, and then the Gladiator

showcasing when they were doing the delirium showcase yesterday was getting like three or two rage per hit, and it didn't seem to have a cool down 'cause he was hitting fast, and he was getting the rage fast, which is also different than what you could normally get in the current game. And then after that, after he killed the enemy, there, he started walking, and the rage degenerated very fastly. All those things imply rage is changing in some significant way. Um, we'll see what it is. I'm excited for it. Uh, the current rage, it's cool and all, but I love change. I love when they rework things, redesign things, and we'll see what it looks like. King of the Mist. Uh, I said kind of the Mist. Okay, this one, I was running out of ideas, and I'm like, H. I don't think it's going to happen, but maybe they could add King of the Miss back as like ritual boss and add back twt. I don't think this one's really going to happen.

this is mostly just coping, and I was running out of things to put on my list. Uh, that's the main one where that happened. I was pretty happy to put a lot of these things on the list, but this one I'm like, I don't know. I just put it on there. And then, ascendency rework glad and Berserker. I think glad and Berserker are highly likely. Uh, number one is Berserker. It is the rage asceny. If they're doing a complete rage overhaul, I don't think you can do this without reworking Berserker. I don't think it's possible. There has to be a change to go to Berserker if you're reworking rage. I think these are both fairly likely. And then, Gladiator. They showed us a simulacrum where a gladiator, I think it was a gladiator, it looked like a duelist ascendency. They were dual wielding, they were doing lacerate bleed, and they were doing good damage things.

that don't really happen right now. They've also showcased uh like a dual wield Cyclone setup. They've showcased a a few different setups that look like a duelist. Glad has been on the list of everyone's mind. It's the first descendency that comes out of anyone's mouth when anyone talks about a rework. I think it's likely. And then I have a on here and that's just me coping because I like chaos Dot and I think ult. I'm not a big fan of cultist. I wish a cus was better or a bit more interesting. And they showcased a chaos do vile basion character in the reservation preview. And I just I'm just coping on a cus. I think it's going to be a glad preserve fore work most likely. But I could cope anyways. This is my list of predictions for 3.25. My little Bingo board. I'm excited for the reveal come the 18th. Hopefully you guys enjoy it. As always thanks for watching Exiles.
