Addie, it's a lovely name, don't you think? For a child, I might name my firstborn daughter Addie. So what is this thing? Oh my goodness, so this is very clearly trying to make people think of Adderall. What else is new? I see, I've seen a couple

different companies try to do something like this. So I, I've honestly have no clue what this is. This appears, this is some sort of supplement. So it's a supplement, not a medication. You understand the difference. Medications are regulated by the FDA, supplements are

not. I, I, I honestly have no idea what this is. I saw this somebody posted on one social media for I don't even know what it was and I was like, oh my gosh, I have to figure out what this is. So let's do that here today. I'm Grant Harding. I'm

a licensed pharmacist in three states and I'm a drug pricing expert and I like to review medications so you guys can make better, more well-informed decisions. And today, I'm going to be testing this out, this Focus stimulant to see how it actually works. So let's turn the camera

around and open this up first of all, and then I'll get into the testing. Addie, no prescription required, Focus stimulant. Let's get it. We got 30 extended release capsules. I don't know why they put that on here. What, what about this is extended release exactly?

Is there like microspheres in here? Is there crystalline structure? It dissolves slowly in a physiological medium? I doubt it. I think they just literally put that on there. So what actually is this? Um, the main thing here is WGP, which stands for what, goodness, child?

Please, no, I'm just kidding. Um, I don't remember what it stands for, but it's like uh, it's like a green caffeine powder, so it's like a natural caffeine supplement basically, and you can surmise that's probably doing the heavy lifting.

Here in this concoction, amla uh, powder and brahmi, those are two um, you know, herbal supplements that if you want to Google it and find whatever you want to about it, you can. That's my biggest gripe with supplements, but I did see that

those were linked to helping with ADHD. Uh, to what degree, Lord only knows. You know, the serving size is two capsules. Remember you get 30 of them. So let's open this up, but first um, I wanted to talk about how this actually, how effective this is. So the website is

actually very professional, and they do have studies and uh, we'll take a look at those if we haven't already at this point in this video. Uh, but I did see that the study, the one that I looked at, was funded by this company, which is a red flag, but

it's not a total, you know, you don't totally discredit a study because of that, but it doesn't really look that good. All right, manufactured in the USA by Addie Products LLC, and they're out of Arizona. Okay, cool. All right, let's open

this up. So far, I'm very impressed. I mean, this looks very professional, the website was great, everything looks great so far. Oh, I was expecting there to be a little cap. All right, so that's what it looks like in there. Now, these definitely smell very

earthy so I'm going to just take one of them so they're unmarked and they they're they're jam packed they're clear too so um I think that that's like a you know you're you're reaffirming for the customer this is herbal you know

it's clear look at it look at it you know it's it's brown so this is from the earth oh my gosh there's a lot oh my gosh there's a lot in there so this is uh I mean this feels like an herbal supplement this does not

feel highly processed or anything um I mean this feels like it was just mixed and put in a capsule so that's probably again what is extended release about that at all they just put it in a capsule extended compared to what I wonder how it tastes let's try

it tastes like nothing okay I have with me on my screen here the adult ADHD self-report scale um and this is supposedly like a peer-reviewed gold standard a screening tool not a diagnosis tool it's a screening tool people get that mixed up um so we as a nation still have not

gotten to a point where it's easy to edit a PDF so here we are now in an image editor everything has to be difficult that should have been solved about 30 years ago at the invention of the internet but let me just oh good got to

So mark an X in the gray area, so score part eight if four or more marks appear in the dark shaded boxes within part A, then the patient has symptoms highly consistent with ADHD. All of them were in the shaded box for me, so I more than likely have ADHD. Okay, it basically says part B is just kind of to help the practitioner a little bit, but only the part A is the important part. Is what it says, at least for screening. So, um, there you have it. I have ADHD. Let's take this pill and see if it

helps. So these are pretty big and you're supposed to take two of them, so I'm going to take two of them here today, probably one at a time. Oh my gosh, it's so big. Okay, got one. That was tough, man. Okay, let's see if that helps uh with

attention and focus. Boom, boom, boom. L by Club say weo. It's been like two hours since taking the Addie thing, and I don't feel any different at all. I don't feel more motivated. I don't feel like I could focus any better. I don't feel any
