this is why I want to play Frost Blades of catabasis next league. First, Frost Blades of catabasis got buffed as much as Frost blades, but it didn't lose the flat on the skill because it never had the flat to begin with, so it's already an overbuff for what they wanted. Okay, and this is the mechanic, these are the mechanics that I think are going to make this build good, and they sound simple, but it's actually very good. Okay, first, first, it's a cold skill, so I'm going to be able to freeze and chill, right, whenever, whenever I do it, and you can see there's about seven monsters on the board right now. Oh man, there's going to be a lot more, and I'm going to proc my Frost blades, and you can see how many hits this thing hits for, right, because this is going to help clear, right, a lot, because it's pretty much a melee skill that has infinite range. Like, I hit, okay, that's, you see that, 26 hits right, you

see these monsters coming here boom 12 hits boom 26 hits right boom 10 hits right from frost blades boom it's going to get more because I'm going to be closer 16 hits boom 62 hits right uh you can definitely know there isn't 62 monsters there you can get up to three additional hits because of the the way uh Frost blades works with uh additional monsters and the way they CLE right this is the other thing that you want to do with the skill you see the range for bossing no I'm not building the dot around at all I'm using it as an attack skill uh it goes across the screen and it Cleaves this skill goes across your screen and then Cleaves do you how crazy that is I just demonstrated to you did you not see it you see the range right first you see the range and then you see you see these monsters right does does that look like 49 monsters to you cuz I shot one Frost blade and it

hit this pack 49 times. Do you see that here? You see this pack of monsters. There's like seven Mon. Oh [ __ ] wait, they died. Okay, I need. I need. I need a pack of monsters. Okay, here's a small pack. And oh, there's a bigger pack. Wait, what? What the [ __ ] is why is it freaking? What? What do I have on? Dude, no. What's? What's killing this [ __ ] Herold? That's not Herold. I'm not even. I'm not even moving. You guys see that I shot that pack that was seven monsters there. That's 30 hits. Oh, my glove enchant from Lab. Okay, winter. You guys see that it has insane clearing potential, right? Because of how it works, right? It, it's like it's a range skill that cleaves. Like it's cleaving. You see that it's cleaving. Okay, so that's the first part, right? It's a cleaving range skill. So it's going to help me clear like insanely well, right? In a

map. The next thing is and you're like oh [ __ ] okay so it has 409 weapon damage. It's rather weak as a melee skill. What are you going to do first? The thing is White Wind, right? White Wind is going to have 8% crit. Next league, it's gonna have 300 flat attack speed, evasion suppression, and increased damage. And it's one C. It's a T5 unique. This thing is never going to be more than like 2C. Okay, so you have that right and you're like oh okay well White Wind got buffed a little bit that's not going to be enough damage right. Then we have Southbound, the best one C glove in the game and you're like Southbound sucks. No it doesn't. It has 86 flat average on the top roll. 86 flat is 45% of your added cold damage. Himem okay it has 14% life and it has resistance and it has 100% freeze duration on enemies right and you're

like well, what about the red Rue? You're an idiot because it says your hits can only kill Frozen enemies. Here's the good thing about Frost Blades of catabasis. It has a built-in DOT that it puts on the ground. So as soon as you kill the monster, the dot will kill it. So whether they're frozen or not, they're all going to die. Aha! So you get the best gloves in the game with absolutely no drawback, and you get the 100% free duration so you can proc heat shiver. And sheat shiver is going to be 1% cold damage as extra fire for every chill effect that you put on. Like on bosses, you're going to get pretty good chill effect because your Frost blades actually hits pretty hard, right? And you're going to get the extra 30% extra fire as when they're frozen from this. So an extra 50% like on average 50% or to 60% extra fire from cold. So all of these core items.

combined right gives you the offensive power that you need for your build. It's not going to be zero HP build. It's going to have like 150% increased life. How do you scale the damage further? Okay, by crafting stuff in the game. That's when the pain happens for every melee build. You want damage, it's crafting time. And you know what crafting means? One, two, three. Oh yeah, it's coming for all of us. The best part about melee league is you have to craft a weapon for every build you play. But that's the key, right? Defensively, my build is going to start with one, two, three, four, five, six, seven frenzy charges. It turned into endurance charges. It's going to have eight with Darkray Vectors. So it's going to have eight endurance charges. That means 28% physical damage reduction with 28% elemental damage reduction right at the start. Later, we're going to get a shield with max frenzies, a ring with max frenzies, and clone it with

candas right, and we'll end up with gloves with frenzies, and we're going to end up with 11 frenzies, that's 11 endurance, right? That's 44% Elemental damage reduction. And then we're going to use relth, and then uh use eternal damnation for 80 80 79% Elemental damage reduction. And that, and then with suppression, and we're just going to be Invincible to the game. We're just going to, we're just going to win. We're just not going to die ever. Um, there's a multitude ways of generating endurance charges in maps. Uh, you're going to have to KN. You're going to have not going to worry at the start. I think it's going to be a little bit kind of weird at the start for endurance charges because you're going to use this for maps, and you're going to use uh enduring cry on a boss like when you really need to, uh, later when you craft when you start clustering, uh, enduring composure.

helps um and frenzy charges are going to come from here right and here. Or if you get a ferals fur, you can use a ferals fur too at the start, uh, and then you can get both right. Or you can, or you can get like, or replica feral fur, and you can get both, but I, I don't recommend that. I don't, I can, I don't recommend any kind of ferals fur. That's just bad. Internal damnation now blocks gaining endurance charges. Yo, I can tell you're a Poe Dev, and you didn't think about this one, right? You don't gain endurance charges, you just count as having it. Aha, missed one buddies. There's no way. Lol. So like when you get geared up, like when you get to Max chaos res, right, because you can, you can make your build super, super tanky. Like if you choose to go, like plus to Max res on shield with plus three chaos, and get your max res to 90, your, your, your math looks like this, right, and you want to make the tankiest

build in the game next Le your your math looks like 90 res uh with or 90 chaos res with 90 res and uh because there's there's ways of getting it because of like helmet and stuff like right if you want to make the tankiest game I I think that's kind of like kind of overreaching but I think it's very very doable I need to make the PO but if you have 90 res and 90 chaos res with eternal damnation and uh reles with 11 frenzy charges the math is 44 Ed plus 45 so 89 right uh Elemental damage reduction with 90 res that means if a monster hits you for 100,000 damage you first take 10% right from resistance then you take uh 11% from Elemental damage reduction then you take uh uh 20% less from fortify then you take 10% less from Slayer then you take 50% less from suppression so a spell that hits you for 100,000 is going to do 400 damage to you

let me know if you're going to die. Like you're going to be tanking Maven brain bombs and laughing with a setup literally tanking Maven brain bombs and going, that's what's going to happen, right? So we want to make that. We want to make something super tanky with super really good clear and with really good damage, right? And you can switch off between really tanky setups and really like good high damage setups depending on what you want to do. The way you build it is for you, but I think the shell for the build is really, really good. I prioritize clear and clear speed over a lot of other things in the game, right? That's what I like. I like to do maps and just blast. So if that's not you, then you could always make something else that's more single target oriented. Zero damage endurance Chargers is insane. How do you level this Beast? I'm going to take steel tiag killer, I'm Exile or bolar's Frost blades leveling Slayer, and I'm just gonna say it's mine.

that's that's the plan right now. Yeah, I'm gonna play Relic Slayer with Ed and Max. Freaking frenzies to endurance guys, 100% more guys. There's no way white wind guys, there is no way. This item has never been more than 2C, never. It's in this whole lifetime, it's been never more than 2. Have you seen that item this bad guys, guys, guys? This item has never been more than 2C ever guys. This item spiked to 2C two months in the league, it spiked to 2C. So I don't know what you guys want from me. He shiver, he shiver is like 20C le start though. This might be a, this might be a, a whatever, but I think you could play without heer at the start. So doesn't really matter, the build still function without it, right? No, it starts at like 4 and it goes to 40 and it drops down to like 20, it's like 18, 20, 19. I don't know what this big spike is, was there a build last

leag I used heat shiver at start because most builds don't use this because they can't even use it. I think tuna used this at leak start and that's why it's expensive. Yeah, I think it was tuna ice trap doesn't care about this. They're they're like they're like freaking like level 70 at this point. I think it was tuna used. I think uh I think it was tuna's build that used he shiver so I think this is why it's spiked here. I don't know. I'm hoping like if I have to pay 40 C for a helmet at leak start with red and whatever I'm okay with that. I'm just okay with it whatever. I don't care.
