New York City, 11:29 a.m. Temperature is 77 Fahrenheit, 25 Celsius. I'm on board the Staten Island Ferry, waiting for tropical storm Isaias to [Music] come. Liberty's right there. Let's go outside. Oh my goodness, this is gonna be epic. If I can go out here, it is windy. [Music] Whoa, I think Isaias has come. Oh my goodness, let me see if I can get my microphone out. I'll be better. Oh my goodness, uh indeed. I gotta clip it on myself now. [Music] All right, here we go. This is insane. So, oh my goodness, it looks pretty strong already, tropical storm Isaias. I think the strongest part of the storm is between 12 o'clock p.m. and 2 o'clock p.m. You can hear the wind howling here. 4K Wanderers saying no notification as expected from YouTube, right? As expected. Take a look at the rough waters. A lot of this thing has hit us here in Brooklyn hard while the seas are starting to act up.

now if it gets worse than this, I may not be able to get the ferry back to Manhattan. That'll be something. I went live because this isn't even the worst of Isaiah's yet. The worst is supposed to happen between like 12:30 to 2 o'clock. Until that time [Music] oh whoa yeah I'm on the Staten Island ferry right now because of all the wind. I gotta hold it manually [Music] oh wow oh my god what time is it 11:36. Yeah there's this faster liberty. It might be I have to give up go on this side. I'm crazy for doing this [Music] I'm pretty wet now whoa oh ah [Music] [Music] I am I am so alright you know I thought about bringing the raincoat but I was like you know what I'm gonna get sweaty from the inside and burn more calories that way so not gonna do that. Everything soaks. Let me put away my stabilizer because at

least I can do that. No need to get away cause it's useless in this weather. All right, all right, I just put it away. I am soaked from head to toe. I can't even see through my glasses. Let's go out again. I'm crazy. Um [Music]. Oh my gosh, it's a lot of water. Look how rough the seas are. Oh my gosh, looks like I'll be doing the rest of my rain walks on my black and shadow channel in uh soap clothes. It's only that side of the boat that's [Music] bad [Music]. I should have brought a change of clothing. Yeah, I should have. I was dumb for staying on the other side of the boat. I can barely make out the horizontal bridge there, the silhouette, all the winds over there. First time I've ever taken the Staten Island ferry during a tropical storm. If you want a free shower, you're staying on that side of the boat. Suzanne 05, have I seen another tropical storm in New York? Yes, tropical storm Faye, about two weeks

ago maybe three weeks ago. I had that video up on my black shadow channel. It's got over 100,000 views on one of them. It's got like 25,000 views, ramps, and landings until the berry has come to a complete stop at the turtle. Remain behind the designated barriers for darkness, uh, storms. Even this is not the peak of the storm in New York. The peak will happen at like 12:30, 1:00 o'clock. Looking a lot because I'm on the boat on the sea. This is where you're going to notice it the most. These waves are so high. Yes, sir. 50, 75. Thank you for ten dollars. Thank you, Juju Secretary 99. Miss M, you gotta experience New York novels, whether it's urban settings or crazy tropical storm winds like this over here on this side. I'm just going to be here for a little bit. Crazy. No, I'm not the only one on board. Look, soaking wet. Tom D is watching. Hey, Tom D. Now I got to take the boat back, so stay

tuned for that because I'm not filming Staten Island in the water. I mean, the storm. Tom wants me to swim last page. Uh, Jack, I'm gonna film during the peak for that channel, but right now this isn't even the peak. Maybe when I take the ferry back it'll be better. Cliff, thank you for five bucks. I won't warn you this time, Sam. You hope all is well though. How many phases does New York City have until tourists come back to and pack up the streets? Uh, this tour is not already, but not too many. We're already past all the phases. Uh, Geo, I'm going to walk the financial district after this, but I got to take the boat back to Manhattan. Hopefully this boat driver does a good job stalking the boat. Thank you, Patty, for ten dollars. Be safe and thank you for all you do and taking us with you. You're welcome. Oh boy, it's gonna be rough. You think we're gonna make it docking? This captain's gonna have a tricky time backing this boat with this

kind of weather. Yeah, I'm muffled because probably the mask is wet and hard to talk through. Thank you, Cassandra, for joining membership. Thank you, Chris Cannon, for a dollar ninety-nine. Whoa, the boat shifting to the left. That's how windy it is. We aren't even straight anymore. Whoa, whoa, whoa, we're going to the rocks. Oh my goodness, pictures [Music]. I trust the captain as long as they take it really slow. They're locked up, you see. Everything is okay. They do not lose control of the boat. Awesome captain. Oh my gosh, this is insane. Uh, um, all right, the ramp is being lowered soon, and I gotta quickly change boats. All right, A-plus commandeering by the captain [Music]. All right, here we go. Wow, it is windy on this ramp too. Welcome to Staten Island. I apologize if the footage is shaky because I don't have my stabilizer. It was useless adding the deck there because the phone just kept getting blown off the one direction. The wind was so strong, but every part of me is wet now. My hair

my mask, my shirt, pants, even my shoes. All right, time to change boats. Staten Island, going back to Manhattan. Uh, here we go. Oh, I think the boat's leaving now. I just made it. I just made it. That was quick. All right, I'm on the Andrew J. Barbari boat. [Music] This time I won't stay outside. I'm gonna stay in the boat and see if I can get an open window. Whoa, okay. Oh my gosh, that man has trouble with the luggage. Wow, we're gonna help him up though. That's good. Oh man, oh I like this boat. I like this boat. All right, look at this. This is perfect. You get to see the hurricane, I mean the tropical storm, and there's open windows. All right, let me fix some stuff. Oh my goodness, gotta collapse this now baby. I have my gimbal, I just didn't use it because it was useless in the outdoor area. All right, and I gotta shorten up this cable a little bit. The boat's not leaving yet, so we're okay.

[Music] [Music] [Music] There will be no [Music] Did you hear that? No ferry service between 1 PM and 5 PM. So I got lucky. This might be the last ferry going back to Manhattan. So I got I got lucky. The boat's leaving. So I'm I'm safe. Whoa. So now you know. Okay. This is gonna be easy. I'm just gonna put you on the ledge here so I don't have to hold the phone or maybe I do have to hold it somewhat. [Music] Oh, that's because my umbrella messed up the cable. All right. Wow. It's so [Music] Staten rough ferry. This ferry is preparing to depart. Please take a moment and pay attention to the following safety announcements. If you are in need of assistance, please contact one of the crew locations and other safety-related information posted [Music] areas as well as dotting instructions. You will receive instructions over the public address system or by crew members directing your actions. At no time are you allowed to leave any

personal warnings unattended on the period. Thank you for writing that now. Wow, the waves are just getting more and more rough. Vincent's saying, Do I feel dizzy? No, I actually feel quite calm. This is very surreal to be taking the boat here like this. It's not choppy bop and go. I do feel movement on the boat. It's a large boat, so I can handle weather like this. I trust the crew. This is a good place to be because you get to see the outside. It's all [Music] all covered. This is the Andrew J. Barbara Staten Island Ferry. Yes, definitely. That's why they're suspending it from 1 PM to 5 PM because that's what it's going to be the peak. Jan JC Noah is saying there's a tornado watch in place. All right, I'm prepared for that. I don't want to be caught in a tornado though, but hopefully I can avoid it if it's possible. This is a New York harbor. It's not any river. I wonder if I could even see the statue.

of liberty. The visibility is quite bad already. [Music] This is nuts. Look at the wind, Peter Waycock. Oh my goodness, thank you for the 20 pounds. You like dude, thank you. [Music] [Music] How long is the ride back from here? Probably like 20 minutes. [Music] Let's see if I can go outside. [Music] So much for waterproof shoes. I got wet. Can't even go down here. It's rough on this side. Whoa, whoa. You see these doors? They're heavy-duty and they're being blown away by the wind. Nick 40 77, thank you for five bucks. Oh my goodness. [Music] [Music] These are heavy doors too. [Music] Oh [Music] All right, I saw the others. Look at that. Oh, look at the rain already. This is a pretty intense storm, I'll tell you that much. Already on the Staten Island ferry. Look, it's raining inside the ferry. Holy moly. What in the world? It's raining here inside the boat. It's

coming through the window. Wow. [Music] All right, this might be my last live stream if I don't make it out of here. This is kind of crazy. There's a mop there, but I doubt one mop is going to be able to handle all this water. This is insane. It's raining inside the boat, and the doors are opening and closing by [Music] themselves. Where's the statue of liberty? Well, there's the other Staten Island ferry coming back the other way. At least I can see that because it's a large vessel, but I see the statue of liberty. It's over there, just barely. I can make out the silhouette. I don't know if you can see it, but it's right there. [Music] [Music] Yeah, that's what I figured with 720 people plus. Plus, the windows are all wet and foggy. Really hard to see. Oh, you might be able to see it there. I think you can see it. Yeah, it's over there. I'm trying to aim it between the

water droplets. How do you think Lady Liberty feels in this weather? She's got to deal with a lot more than just this. Believe me, she's seen it all. I would not want to be the Statue of Liberty in this weather. She's got struck by lightning a few times, hurricanes, tropical storms. That's the ultimate [Music] weather watcher right there, the Statue of Liberty. It actually used to be a lighthouse when it first opened. [Music] Wow, hearing these doors closed, it's like a haunted house. It really feels like a movie. You can just stand here and record some audio. Alright folks, which door is going to open up next? Will it be eenie meenie miney mo? Oh [Music] and door slam coming up. Little Banks saying it's a haunted ship. Yeah, that could be it too. [Music] So let's go back to the rainy side. This is epic. No one's on this side. [Music] [Music] Whoa, listen to that wind out there. It's so shaky on this side.

my goodness, ridiculous. This is crazy. Thank you, Nintendo boy 1129. You heard Rockaways, even worse. I could imagine Rockaway there, right by the coast. Door slam coming, or maybe not. [Music] Once again, our third. You heard that again, folks. 1 PM to 5 PM, no Staten Island ferry service. In fact, it might even be better to suspend it now. This is pretty bad. [Music] They may even change it to 12:30. This is the last boat. [Music] [Music] Yeah, Brookfish is suspended now, is right. I'm even surprised they even were running it. But once I get back to Manhattan, I'm going to start filming for my other channel, so the live stream is going to end. I'll be filming for my Blackened Shadow channel, because this is perfect weather for that. Melissa is saying go over the top. There is a top section, but it's not worth it to go up there, right? [Music] Now [Music] for five bucks for some fresh egg rolls.

thank you. [Music] Sharon, I don't narrate on my other channel. The weather speaks for itself there. [Music] I see Brooklyn coming. 4K wonder with four dollars. Staying alive. Yes, I will. [Music] Big dog. I won't be doing a live stream there. I did enough of a live stream over here. [Music] [Music] All right. Will the captain park this boat safely? We'll see. There's the terminal. There's lower Manhattan. [Music] All right. [Music] Thank you, Gary. Monmouth County, New Jersey, is getting hit pretty hard. Stay safe today. You know, crazy 8 or 1.99 as Queen's gonna get hit. The further west you go, the worse it gets because that's the eye of the storm. This isn't even the eye of the storm in New York City. It just grazes up. All right. We're gonna be docking. Looks like we're heading over to the right now. All right. Boat crew, do your work. Look at that. They gotta tie the door.

back because it's so windy. They can't leave it. They can't open it. That's how windy it is. They got a tough job today, these people. I really respect them. Look at this. They're just keeping this closed because they're so windy. All passengers must depart the ferry at this time. Passengers to make the return trip must exit into the terminal and enter the waiting room to await the next ferry. All right, made it safely back to the city, and my day's just gotten started. This is just a teaser. This was just a teaser, this live video. The main attraction is going to be on my other channel when I get around to editing and uploading it. Hell-wise hoping my socks don't get wet. It's too late for that. Must already into the terminal and entertaining room to await the next. Okay, look at this. All passengers [Music] all right here we go [Music] tara be safe man thank you. Oh my goodness, ridiculous weather. Sorry for the shakiness. I don't have my gimbal with me.

I had to take it off because it was, um, useless when I was outside. Before, the wind was so strong it couldn't stabilize anything, so holding the phone manually is the best option for me. [Music] [Applause] Okay, time to get out of here. Now I'm gonna prepare for my walk now from here. Alright folks, if you enjoyed this crazy, crazy livestream during tropical storm Isaac, be sure to smash that like button for me, subscribe for some more videos and live streams like this one, and I'll see you all later. And stay tuned for my blocking shadow channel when I finally upload that video and get around to it. But my day is just getting started now. Bye-bye you.
