We're expecting some snow, but it stops snowing right now. But today's date's Friday, January 28th, 2022. It's 33 degrees Fahrenheit, 1 degree Celsius, and it's 5 o'clock p.m.

and uh here I am. This is a kind of a cool exhibit here in the Hudson Yards area. I wanted to show you all this uh big apple in the big apple of New York City. I don't know if you can hear me. I'm shouting right now, but it's kind of what more can you ask for. All right, now that I had my fun with uh the apple, let's get this live stream started. I'm gonna put my gloves on now because it's freezing or almost cleaning, or I should put my microphone on first before the clothes on. That would make sense. Okay, I just grabbed everyone off the ground there. Perfect. Let's change the aspect ratio to standard lens, and we are good. Hope you like that introduction, but let's do a little bit of a walk back here so you can see the full apple. These trees are still lit up, and we've got the Hudson Yards complex across the street. Actually, this is still considered Hudson Yards where I am, but this is the main area of

Hudson Yards, where the vessel is on the shopping mall. But, uh, let me address the snow that's coming. So, I was looking at my phone. It's expected that there's going to be a total accumulation of six to nine inches of snow in New York City, and that's going to occur between tonight and tomorrow. I don't know when it's going to stop. There's models predicting all over when it's going to stop, but that's what we're expecting. And according to the weather forecasters, the further east you are in New York City and on Long Island and New England especially, that's where you're more likely to get more snow. I have some family in Boston. They're expecting one to two feet of snow, and for them, I don't really think that that's a large amount of snow. They can get a lot more snow, but New York is going to get between six to nine inches, according to the latest forecast that I saw. Let me put you down on the apple and show you the interior of this place.

kind of cool, all right. Actually, I need to put on my belt strap before I start walking around. It will save all the weight from being on my shoulders. There we go. Okay, so there's snow tonight, but the thing is, I'm gonna do my live stream now so I can get to rest early and then wake up tomorrow morning before the sun rises, and I'll do a video in the daytime. So, um, the reason why I don't want to go out late in the night or early morning is because, one, I've already done videos in the early morning and late night. That's, uh, when it seems like it's been most likely to snow lately, early morning or late night, and I don't really think it's as photogenic than if it snows during the daytime. So, I plan to be up before sunrise and recording the snow for you all. I don't know if I'll go live at first or if the snow will be ending at that time, but I can pretty much guarantee you

tomorrow morning, it's going to be a sloshing mess where I am, and you'll get to see it in a video. Plus, it'll take time for the snow to accumulate. I think the video will be more effective if I do it during the daytime when all the snow accumulated during the early morning and late night. So, you'll see like, Wow, look at all the snow. It's like up to my knees now. Whereas if I'm out there during the height of the storm, it's windy, you really can't see much. Well, you're going to see a lot, but there's going to be sunrise. I'm not playing. I'm going to wake up before sunrise, see how the snow is falling. If it looks ideal for a video, I'm making my video then. But here I am now in the Hudson Yards area. We've got the vessel. This structure is closed for climbing now, but you can still go in to take pictures. I really don't know what's up with this here. I mean, this has been going on

over here for like years now, maybe like two years. They have this stop sign here and no traffic light. They got this thing which is supposed to mean stop, but many drivers, they just blow right through this. And these pedestrian signals are not working. Yeah, that's right, Maria. Experiencing light, steady snow all day here in Rhode Island, but without accumulation. Will be icy overnight. There was some snow earlier this morning and the early afternoon, but it didn't accumulate, so I didn't feel like going out and recording it. I want there to be some accumulation before I go out.
