It's November 2nd, 2023, about 11:30 a.m. I know there is a little bit earlier than when I normally start my live streams, but there's a reason for that. Temperature is 44°F, 7°C. I'm starting off in the most romantic of places in New York, obviously the New York City subway system. But as promis, the reason why I'm starting this live stream a little bit early is because I have a flight to catch later on tonight and I still need to get ready. All right, Midtown Manhattan, Fifth Avenue, got Billionaire's Row there. Let's take a walk over to Central Park. The leaves are pretty much all starting to change now. We're pretty much at, uh, peak to P, post-peak fall season. I hope you all enjoyed the Halloween adventures on October 31st, as well as the Greenwich Village Halloween parade. I sure had a lot of fun. By the way, check out the, uh, congestion pricing cameras that the city put up. We seeing a little bit of color there in the trees. This section of Central Park, by the way, that I'm looking at right now, is actually a small sanctuary that you can walk in. It's really nice. I don't think I'm going to stay a long time in Central Park, maybe just to this viewpoint, and then I'll head back onto the streets of Midtown Manhattan. I sh oh sinks. Did you guys in the US have your clock backs? Uh, not yet. That will happen on Sunday. I know uh Europe changes their clocks back a week before the United States does. Yeah, right. That was funny. Actually, I'd like to ride it more, but the way I conduct my adventures in New York, it makes it even difficult to ride a scooter because I like to go inside places, take the subway, and it's just a lot more freeing just going there on your own two feet rather than having to worry about a scooter, locking it up, and then returning to where it is. To me, it's just much more convenient to walk around the city whenever I'm done, pop into the nearest subway station or bus line, and that's what really makes New York great. There's easy access to public transit. I like taking micro mobility when I know I'm going to be someplace for a while and I don't need to venture out from that location. Like when I was working my day job, I

would ride my bike to work and just leave it there, knowing that I'm not going anywhere for the rest of the day. And then, when I'm finished, unlock the bike and bring it back. But you see, the way I do my videos and live streams, it's kind of hard to do that. When I go out, I'll live stream for like an hour and a half, two hours, make more videos, and it's hard to say where exactly I'll be after I finish. And then I still have to go back to get the scooter or the bike. It's rather annoying. And on top of that, worry about it getting stolen or beaten up. Fried bread asking how much public transit is in New York. Uh, it depends the method, but for the most part, the New York City subway and public buses, the local buses, they're $2.90 a trip. What's up [Music] Manny Cole sloth. Do you ever feel scared on the subway or other public transit? I would be lying if I said no, because there are some tense moments in public

transit that you feel a little bit standoffish. Scarecrow says it's freezing out. People are wearing shorts. Yeah, I guess people didn't really prepare for this weather. That's what I. We'll see how this chilly weather is impacting the tourist season though. I'll head on to uh Fifth Avenue and check it out. Look at this running group. They're out wearing shorts. But then again, I really respect these Runners because they have to train and practice in all types of weather. Last year when I cover the New York City marathon which by this um it's uh coming this summer Monday the New York City marathon. The last year's Marathon was super warm. Guess I'll go this way and sometime these marathon runners they have to run in the rain especially on their days off too during the weekend. It's raining all the time. Yeah Manny you think the next week is the marathon for sure. I think like the first two weeks of October uh two weekends in October it was raining. And for those marathon runners it was very tough for

them. I've asked some of the marathon runners how they train, especially how they do it when it's raining out. And it's tough. They have to wear special kinds of socks if it's raining out, otherwise it's going to get uncomfortable. The wizard asking any date set for your first stream in the new place. I have to see if I'm even able to stream first from my new location. When I'm always going to a place, I'm always skeptical. How far do these marathon runners go? A marathon is 26 miles. Oh, Wendy, 78. You like to be surprised when I go to a new location. I think people are going to be surprised for TMC asked me what was my favorite costume in the parade. I had no favorite. And look at this, Berol Goodman has their windows covered, 'cause this be the start of the uh holiday windows displays. I know Macy's started decorating when I was down there the last time. Louis Vuitton has their windows covered up too. It says work in

progress and there's already a wrapping around the building. Really cool, and I'm looking really forward to the holiday season in New York. There are a lot of countries right now that are hurting, and many people are finding that it's better, it's a better life for them, or they'd rather risk the journey to move somewhere else, to a different country. Look, yeah, I don't intend to travel to any other major cities, just stay in London, because believe it or not, you know how many boroughs London has? You think New York City is a lot with five boroughs? London has 32. 32 boroughs.

and all those boroughs are split up into different zones too, saying plenty to see in London is huge. Yeah, when I like to travel to places, I don't really like to venture off to quick trips to different cities and spend like a day or two in a place. I like to actually get acclimated and experience local experiences, tourist attractions as well. That's the way I like to travel. I don't like to go on tour groups and spend like a day or a few hours somewhere and then move on to the next location and see that it's... it gets tiring after a while. Yeah, I know Millie, I do need to pack some wet weather gear as well. I think everyone there is going to know I'm a tourist though when I speak with this [Music] accent.
