Haven't been here in a while, so I wanted to come down here and see what it's like right now. It is rush hour. Hey, it is rush hour right now, so maybe we'll see some people going home from their jobs down here in the Financial District, and we'll see. I teach you loving the music. Very nice 80s vibe. Let's go this way towards 55 Water Street because I know that's the largest office building by real estate space in the area. Maybe we'll see some office workers coming out right now. [Music] Some infrastructure work here. Maybe a tree is going to be planted here. It's quite possible. There's the One New York Plaza building. I think Morgan Stanley is in this building. And then in 55 Water Street, which is the one over here, this is the S&P building. That's the company that has the most office space in that building. If anyone's heard of the S&P 500, that's the creators of it right there in front of me.

It was the M5, but because the route was so long and inefficient, the MTA split it up into two routes, the M5 and the M55. Uh oh, someone's in trouble. Highway patrol pulled over someone. Always get that scene in the movies where there's a driver that's speeding and then the cop turns on the sirens. Be like black sedan, pull over. Then the cop comes over the window. License and registration, please. And then sometimes you're able to get away with a warning. Sometimes they'll just write the ticket there then and there on the spot. I think that scene's been uh overused too many times in the movies. So Ali BHG, I remember that scene and jingle all the way. The cop encountered so many issues. So pretty quiet here on the Elevated Acre. There's a few people here but not too many. Ava's lifestyle. But as far as the capacity of this building, I don't really see anybody coming out of it right now. Still looks very quiet. I know many companies are still working from home. yeah, mouse potato New York Manhattan was covered in trees and had a lake in the very south of it. Yep, that lake was a source of New York City's residents for a long time. That was the Collect Pond. So, we're gonna walk up Broad Street towards the New York Stock Exchange building. Can't really see it right now, but after a few blocks, you're going to be able to misbehave saying this air is usually packed this time. Only know of one company on site in the financial district that has more than 30 percent on site. The rest still remote. Yeah, I mean, it's still insane to think that we're a year since April 2020, like when the height of COVID happened and people were still working at home, and there's not much activity here. So, it really shows you how much damage has been done to the real world and office space in Manhattan, but there's still more people here than like a month ago, two months ago. Several companies now are starting to

tell people to come back into the office. We'll see what happens in another year from now, but I'm more and more hopeful. If anything can come out of recent situations, it shows you that many companies are able to work remotely, and not everybody needs to be in the office. So, that's a good thing, I guess. Sometimes, people are more productive working remotely. I don't know anything about Florida, so including myself, I'm a lot more productive working remotely than in person. GG NYC saying, You too many people work better remotely, and then there's some people who will do everything in their power to slack off, right? If you think about it, I mean, we've been dealing with this for a while now, but I know people who are working from home. They're like, Ah, thank goodness I'm working from home. The boss doesn't have to see me clipping my nails in my cubicle anymore, or like, I could sleep all day, and they won't be able to see unless I'm in a Zoom call, and you won't

have the boss doing one of these, like, What are you doing? What are you doing? Stop playing games, work. Some people, they do need that motivation, you know. This is the back way to get to the world trade center-like viewing area, and the future home of five world trade center will be here. So, this tree is a pure descendant of the chestnut tree preserved over decades outside the secret annex in Amsterdam, where Anne Frank and her family hid from 1942 to 1944. I remember reading Anne Frank's diary when I was in elementary school, but that is an original descendant of the tree, Anne Frank tree, pretty cool. So, this is coming in 2021, the Saint Nicholas National Shrine. It's looking quite impressive already. Here we have the viewing spear. This was in the original courtyard when the twin towers were around, and this piece of art survived the collapse of the twin towers, so pretty amazing that this is still here. I mean, it's damaged a little bit, but it still survives. Yeah, Mars is still from the plaza, the world trade center plaza, the original one.

but you see here the top is all smushed. You got a hole over here, but otherwise, it looks pretty good. You can even see inside it. Look, there's like a copper frame in there. But it's here, Rod Mole. Yes, it was in Battery Park, and they moved it here. And now we have the new plaza over here with the 911 memorial pools. This here is the south pool, and the north pool is on that side. [Music] But these two pools, they approximately are in the original location of the twin towers. And now we have this one. And if you want to see the Oculus building, it's over there. I always found this building to be a little bit strange. Looks like a skeleton, but the angle of it isn't really that great from here. Well, um, following up on that, I heard that the New York government may be imposing new taxes for the highest-earning people. And if that passes, New York City will be the most highly taxed jurisdiction in the United States. Past places in California will be over a 50 percent tax. If I earned that kind of money and I was being taxed at over 50 percent, to me, that doesn't sound fair at all. I mean, you make a hundred dollars, and the government takes over half of your money. That doesn't seem right.

I mean, the most it should be is 50. It's like people aren't even partners. [Music] There we got a boat going over to New Jersey. [Music] [Music] And there it is. This used to be the Standard Oil building over here, and then I think this one, one of these is the White Star Line company, which uh was the Titanic's company.
