I have three things to talk about today, and I need to get through them quickly because, frankly, I think half of what I'm going to talk about will be possibly officially confirmed in under 24 hours. But I did want to tell you guys as soon as possible because it's exciting. And the first one is about the 9800 x3d. So, I really can't say much concrete, unfortunately, in terms of like how I know this or what I got access to, but I can say that it is becoming obvious that AMD is about to announce the 9800 x3d. Things are in motion, briefings are going out to multiple regions, and it seems like final marketing material. So, I don't know if they're going to do this at the AI event, some other event, or just put out a press release after aoic is shown off tomorrow and potentially disappoints everyone from what it kind of sounds like. But I don't know, but I would be surprised if

the 9800 XRD wasn't announced within a week, certainly within two weeks. I really do expect it, and I do think that AMD is going to therefore at least try to paper launch it next to Aake, if not try to do some sort of launch event before AOL Lake is even out. Now, as for final clock speeds for the 9800 X3D, AMD is keeping a lid on this one. I don't know how they've managed to not let that get out yet, but it hasn't gotten out yet. And all their marketing material just conspicuously avoids that, and all their briefings avoid seeing the exact clock speed. And I think that's because they don't want people to know clock speed until they know exactly how Aake performs relative to the 7800 X3D and the 950X. Because once they know that, once AMD knows that, they can go, All right, whether it's 5.3 gigahertz, 5.4, 5.5, hopefully more, they'll just say, 'All right, well now we

know it's exactly here, and we know exactly how we can price it, and we can, if we can announce that it's actually a full 10% or more better than AOL Lake in gaming performance. I'm not saying it will be. I don't know if it'll be 5, 10, or 15% faster, but it does seem like it is going to be faster. And I don't think AMD wants anyone to know how much faster it will be until they themselves know, so they can really decide how they want to hit this marketing push for a product that really is important to them after the Zen 5 launch just completely face-planted. You see, I think AMD knows that they have to hit a home run with the pricing, the marketing, and the rollout of the 9800 x3d, because it really needs to act as a reboot for the Zen 5 brand that so far has just been a complete disaster in how its launches have been handled. But yeah, so I expect that to be announced very soon.

and I want this to be more than just a trust me, bro leak. And so, just like before when I leaked marketing materials for the 9800 X3D, a couple of things just to prove that I did have access to some high-level information here. I'm leaking this today to prove that I really do have access to partner materials, and that is how I get to the conclusions I've just come to about the 9800 XRD being announced soon. And besides that, I really don't actually know anything else about the 7650 GRE, except that I hate its name. I think it makes absolutely no sense, but it's real. All right, like I said, I am not wasting any time in tonight's video. I just want to get right to the information here, and this came from one of my best sources that was just briefed by Nvidia on the current status of the RTX 5000 series plans. Now supposedly Nvidia is now indeed planning to launch these cards in 2025, not at the end of

2024, and they're warning their partners that they're considering the following price points: $2,000 to $200 for the 590 32 Gaby, with the emphasis being on the higher number that it would probably be closer to $2,500 than to $2,000. And the same goes for the RX 580 6 GB: $1,200 to $1,500, with the emphasis being that it's more likely to be $1,300 to $1,500 than it is to be $1,200. And then the 5070, yes, just 12 GB, at least $600, so priced at the launch pricing of the 470 or higher. And there was also a slide apparently that compared the 5070 to the 470 TI, not the 470 TI super, the 470 TI, in raster but with slightly better ray tracing. So that is to say, might it win slightly in raster performance? Yeah, maybe, I don't know, 5% or something. But then with ray tracing, it might actually be like 10% to 20%.

better, but that doesn't mean that it's good value. There's also the 4070 Super that I am sure Nvidia will not want to compare this to because it is most of the performance of the 4070 Ti while costing hundreds of dollars less. And the 4070 Ti was never a big seller for Nvidia, so I am sure they're going to be happy to say that this $600 to $700 card that is stronger than an old $800 card is great value, while omitting the card that actually everybody bought that was significantly better value than the one they're comparing it to. Uh-oh, and this source stressed to me, and I 100% agree with them, that Nvidia has changed their plans multiple times this year. Let me remind you, at the beginning of the year, it seemed pretty set in stone that Nvidia was going to launch probably the 5080 and 5090 in quarter 4. And then, and I heard this, other leakers heard this, they briefed their partners that the 5090 was suddenly going to try to launch.

in summer and then like I. I think it may have been just like a month later or weeks later. They told them never mind we're going to launch it after the 80 which means they're both going to launch really late in the year and all this indecisiveness. I've said it many times on broken silicon. I think there's a game of chicken going on with AMD with rdna A4 and Nvidia with Blackwell where neither of them really want to launch their cards this year but if one of them does they feel like they have to respond with something new and so I think Nvidia is looking at well you know again in a leak I put out I believe just a week or two ago. I confirmed that I had documentation saying that only the RX 7000 series was being sold this year so I think Nvidia saw that and went all right now we really really really think AMD probably won't launch rdna 4 this year and so because we still have all these love La cards to get rid of and

everything's in AI right now, not in gaming. We're also going to punt it to 2025, and that's just very disappointing. But you know, like I was saying, they've changed their plans multiple times this year, so do not be surprised if this leak that's coming out today - I'm really emphasizing this hard - is NVIDIA gauging reactions, testing the waters. I think they did the same thing with the RTX 470 when they put out pricing for that. It was going to be about $700, and then changed their mind at the last minute after seeing how people reacted. AMD does this as well, and I really think that might be what's going on here. By the way, if you're wondering, early reactions from Nvidia partners are that this is very bad. The GPU sales have been bad for the past few months, and that this is just going to make things worse for them, make it even harder for them to keep selling GPUs. But yeah, so again, let me one more time, people, I suspect

Nvidia is testing the waters of this pricing, and I also suspect that if they really wanted to push out the 5090 at the end of this year, they still could. I mean, the thing's done, it's ready to go. But at least as of today, this is what Nvidia is planning. And so, even though I'm not ready to double down on this pricing yet, when I am, take it seriously because I nailed the super pricing. And despite a lot of people saying there's no way Nvidia would be that cheap, if I double down on this pricing, I don't think you should say there's no way Nvidia would be that expensive because these sources that I talked to have been right before. And hopefully, they will change their mind. I don't know if they will. And it needs to be remembered that what I just leaked is just what Nvidia is considering right now. But we have to admit, what Nvidia is considering right now is insane as [Music].
