Back then, TV shows were works of art, sculpted by the gods and sent down to earth to bless us with their holy presence. Even the commercials were fire. You got Reese's Puffs, Pillow Pets, they got Jake from State Farm or the Geico lizard, the Tootsie Pop, the goal for Cinematic Universe. Why were they trying so hard to sell children insurance? Insurance demonic child away from me. Every Godforsaken hour, Cartoon Network would play this goddamn commercial, animal crackers.
