Fall Weather Forecast and Tropical Update

The fall season is approaching, bringing crisp air and clear visibility, with the blue sky returning as smoke clears from the atmosphere.

Frost alerts have been issued for areas north and west, marking the first of the season.

The seven-day forecast indicates a dry stretch, with cooler temperatures and a warm spike close to 80 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday.

Tropical Storms and Hurricanes Impacting the Atlantic

A subtropical storm, Alphabet, is making its way through Portugal and Spain, which are not used to such weather.

Tropical Storm Beta is forecasted to make landfall on the southern or central Texas coastline, while Hurricane Teddy's cone has shifted east, potentially making landfall around Nova Scotia.

The storms are generating big waves, leading to a high surf advisory with 8 to 12-footers.

Bermuda will be affected by a storm, but not directly hit.

The long-range forecast shows no rain for the entire seven-day period.

Fall will officially start on Tuesday, with peak temperatures around 80 degrees and a dry first week.

The ocean temperature is currently warmer than the outdoor air temperature.

Ocean temperatures are still swimable, making it a great time to go to the beach.

It's recommended to go in the water and stay cool this weekend.
