That's more of a plan that you have. Yeah, well, you know what, Jim, I might go to Central Park tomorrow because I want to see the new statue in honor of women. So, Jordan Truth, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and then, oh no, there's the other third one that I'm blanking out on. There's a third woman for the pioneers of women, but I have to see that tomorrow. As you see in burning, if you listen to Sinclair Media or anything from conservative voices, you would think that New York is lost in a chaotic dystopian Mad Max kind of scenario. I'm here to dispel that theory on this live stream today as I walk around my own neighborhood and also to get outside and woke up all the sculptures and peppers I ate today. I'm looking for the Mad Max dystopian future we're supposed to be living in right now, and I think unfortunately, I don't think we're going to see a sunset. I think that those clouds are hoping for a sunset. Those clouds got to get in the way at the sunset, but we'll go down to the waterfront nonetheless, get my, get some steps in here, get some steps in. But an amazing undertaking this weekend, we had a little over 3,000 unique impressions for our tale-a-thon. We did have a viewership up to 7,000 at the beginning of the broadcast, but then when the internet dropped out, it died down and only came back to about 1,000. So still solid viewership nonetheless. And uh, agitators, you know what I'll say, agitators on both sides because they are agitators who go into some of these MAGA rallies. And, and as we saw on some of these live streams, they're agitators that go into Black Lives Matter rallies. Of course, this peaceful protest during

But you know, I'm hearing on conservative media today like New York is in chaos and all this stuff, and I'm like, and then they whip out video. What's the best is they whip out this video from, oh, I want to say, I want to say maybe, maybe 10 years ago from, uh, from Spain, from Barcelona when there were some riots out there. They equated that with New York, which is really weird. It was SD, uh, Fort Hamilton. Yes, I don't know what SD is. That is SD. It's delay long. Is the latency long? Oh, standard definition. Uh, we're using YouTube. They updated the app today, so I wanted to see how good it worked. I was going to go on to the Prism Live, but we should be putting out at least 720. I don't want to see you in my feed anymore, and that is, I know there's a God-honest truth. I really just want to just disassociate myself with people who do stuff like that completely. Now, if one thing the pandemic has told me or taught me is disassociate from myself from people who try to push false narratives, and more importantly, false narrative to influence or promote a certain political belief. You know what, I was going to use Prism Live too. I want to do a live stream where I talk about a fort that used to be right there at the... at where the Brooklyn tower of the Verrazano Bridge is today. They used to be a fort. They're called Fort Lafayette, and I was gonna do a little... a little history walk. Probably do that sometime really soon. But the Prism Live, I can actually show pictures on the app while I'm live streaming. So, I have some pretty awesome pictures of what it looked like down here. Kind of an amazing picture actually of the beach down here from 1890, which is amazing. Quite an amazing picture because if I was... if it was 1890 right now, I would be deep in the water. Is it true there's a body in the cement?

No, there's not. That is not true. That is an urban legend. That is the urban legend of urban legends. Sorry, folks, no bodies buried into cement in the Brooklyn Bridge. And actually, that's where we're coming up to the bench where Tony Monero and Saronite Fever said that John Travolta said that in one of these benches right here in my right. But as you see, New York is completely dead. You heard somebody fell and nobody got him. Now, the cement is actually not that deep. The cement is about three, at most three feet deep. It's not that deep. Remember that. Look at how big a body is and then think about submerging in cement. The cement needs to be quite deep. Now, if the cement is like, let's say, four feet deep, this, if cement is four feet deep, wouldn't the bridge be really heavy? And also, it has to flex. So, it's not that deep. The cement deck is not that deep to hide a human body. Boy, what if the discussions we have on

these live streams, I tell you, it's packed down here. Holy cow, clearly New York City is dead. Clearly New York City is on life support right now, burning buildings, burning everywhere, garbage, and crime running rampant all around me right now. Yeah, exactly, exactly, exactly, Jim. Yeah, almost, yeah. A lot of people don't. I will say down here, this splits about 40-60. But our tail-a-thon went off mostly without a hitch. We'll see without a hitch. I should have been more proactive of getting all of our computers that were on the live stream physically connected to Ethernet. I think that would have been the best, to have all of our computers physically connected to the Ethernet, because we had a little bit of latency issues there. But the more we learn, and now you gotta, you guys gonna be the first to hear about this. I will be proposing formally a way for us next year to live stream the mermaid parade. So doing two proposals, actually. That's the first proposal, and then the second

proposal is uh to try to get to try to get uh the great zig zig and the coney island mayor to do a weekly live side show. But yeah, you know, I figured out, Abby, what they have to offer at the amphitheater. And as long as I'm hardwired into their internet, I don't see any issues. I could definitely live stream the parade and uh be able to to show it because now I know what we what it needs, you know. And considering how well the tale-a-thon went, thing was mostly working off a zoom. We could do some amazing stuff. And if there's anything that's great about dealing with Taylor found, is now coney island, coney island USA does now have the infrastructure to broadcast out live shows properly and not on cell phones. So [Laughter], but I tell you what, I saw the video today of the Osmo 4, the DJI Osmo 4. That thing is fantastic. That thing is pretty cool, magnetic, a magnetic coupling system for the gimbal. I tell you how many times that will come in handy for me just to rip the phone, to just rip the phone off of the gimbal, and then you don't have to balance the thing practically. I think it seems like it has strong motors. He wasn't vacate, uh, he was in Florida on vacation for eight nights in Kissimmee. I see your son, he's 19. It was fantastic, awesome ladies, uh, 80s music fan. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay down there in Florida. Yeah, I know, uh, Abby Osmo 4 is amazing.

I've seen a few videos of Osmo Four, and it's just really, really cool. But that's where I live for years, Kissimmee, just off of 192, right near Disney. Some of the most boring summers of my life spent in Kissimmee, Florida. I mean, especially when I was like between the ages of like eight and twelve. I would go down to Florida every summer, and you know, we only went to Disney like once, you know, like maybe for a day, and that's it. And the rest of the summer, I'll be locked, trapped in the air-conditioned house with nothing to do. And I remember just being so depressed looking at the road and the highway, patting all the cars passed like they're going places. I want to go somewhere. Oh, that's where you stayed, the Point Green Point Hotel. Awesome. So you were just outside of Disney. Oh my God, is that Casey Florida does suck. Casey Neistat, Casey on Twitter today saying he misses New York City. This is like his third

time putting out a Twitter post saying he misses New York. Then why the heck did he move out there in the first place to Los Angeles? You really know while he lives in Venice, and I have to say out of all the places in Los Angeles I visited, Venice was my favorite. Um, I could see myself living in Venice. Um, you can't compare to New York. I'm sorry, can't compare it. So, anything changed much here in the city? Well, a few things, you know, especially during the summertime. We thrive off of live events here in New York. There are no live events, you know, no concerts, so that's kind of put a damp, a damper on the summer. But then the other thing was that for our time, the streets were incredibly quiet, and uh, it was quite peaceful. But now everyone's getting back, everyone's getting more comfortable to get back outside. But you know, restaurant, it's nice eating outside, it's nice having a drink outside. But you know, if your hometown isn't different because of the pandemic.

you probably lived in a boring place to begin with anyway. So, I know, I know, Jim, don't remind me. You like L.A. proper? Yeah, I biked around downtown Los Angeles, and that was one of the few experiences I will never forget. My entire life was almost ending up on a freeway out there, but because I'm normally in New York with this frantic pace, I was able to keep up quite a bit. But that was fun. Yeah, I remembered it back to normal. Yeah, back to normal is subjective. Back to normal is when we take off these freaking masks and don't have to socially distance. I think we're gonna all celebrate when we start removing all the socially distant markings from the stores and we don't have to wear masks and all that good stuff. So, in time, hopefully, hopefully, we'll get to that stuff. Mask burning? Yes. Yeah, Jim, that's what we're doing in Coney. We're gonna have a big bonfire. We're gonna have a big bonfire. I definitely lost some energy in my legs, which I gotta get back. Um, yeah, but I mean, the good things to come out of it was 19 weeks of doing the state of Coney Island address, another two months of programming for the mermaid parade, and you know, it was great to bring some things for Coney Island out and, uh, more importantly, build a foundation for better for a better tomorrow. So try to keep it on the positive because it's so easy to go negative. It's so easy. Are we going to have Christmas lights this year? I could tell you at the houses here in this neighborhood. Some of them will, some of them will definitely have their lights. So we actually might have a better light show out here in South Brooklyn, Manhattan. Just saying. Oh, Governor Whitmore is loading up precautions. That's good.

exactly. I got a lot of type of junior thing, zombie. We got a lot of time to do new things. As I hear the cicadas and cicadas making their sounds, a summer tradition. I saw those pictures of the epic sunsets, which if there was one good thing about watching a Casey Neistat vlog was that he could always usually catch a sunset or a sunrise on them. And uh, where he lived downtown, it was always really pretty. A lot of people down here as it gets dark earlier and earlier and earlier. The lack of sunlight. I'm officially. I'm officially already reacting to the lack of sunlight. I woke up this morning at uh. Oh, was it 6:30. Don't ask why, but I woke up at 6:30 and uh. I was like, Oh my god, the sun isn't up yet. Hey, there's a cicada. That's the sound of Florida right there. Alright guys, what do you think we should do? Should we walk down Third Avenue and go see all the restaurants open? Do you have one of those seasonal lamps? No, I do not. I use uh, basically I use just uh, my tea, my TV.

that's it. My TV is my alarm. I want to get one of those moon lamps so that like slowly gets bright, you know. I do use my computer monitors if I have any kind of sensory deprivation or anything like that. I just basically put my two monitors on white, on white, white, and I sit in front of that for like about an hour or two while I do other things. That usually works, but I have a feeling my seasonal affective disorder is gonna be real. It's gonna hit hard today or this year because I've barely been out in the sun. But just take it one day. I'll take it one day at a time. That's all I'm gonna do, just take it one day at a time. Yeah, I know there's a special light. I use my monitors to do that. There's a program I have for my monitors that basically makes my monitor screen white, and I basically have to, and I have two monitors, so I sit in front of the two monitors.

bursting out white light, and that tends to help, especially like in the early morning. If I have to get up really, really early, and the sun don't come up until like seven o'clock, eight o'clock, or if I'm feeling a little depressed, I sit in front of the lights. It's in front of the monitors, and it usually works as it gets darker. Still walking with that boat? No, I thank you so much, Laurie. No need. I appreciate that, though. All right, what we're gonna do is I'm gonna cross over that 88th Street bridge, and we'll make our way over to Third Avenue, and we'll see all the restaurants opening up along Third Avenue. Yeah, like I said, my monitors do a pretty good job at helping me with that. They basically just put out white, a white signal, and yeah, it works. It works quite well. Okay, we're racing that [__] because that was on a bike. I'll be able to keep right up with it. Yeah, sometime this week, though, we're

going up to Central Park, do a whole walking tour of Central Park, maybe even go all the way up to Seneca Village, literally walk the whole park. I think the only single skip will be the Harlem Mirror, but I have a little walk in mind, especially considering there's new statues in the park. A statue that I have been looking forward to for quite some time, for about four years now. I remember when they first talked about putting the statue in the park. It was around the time they unveiled the Fearless Girl, and I was like, Yeah, Central Park needs women, actual women, not theoretical, magical, fake women. I mean, real women. Juliet and Alice in Wonderland are really nice, but to have three pioneering women in Central Park definitely added a new treat. So, I definitely have to see that and just see the city in general. I'm finding that editing video every day, so I've kind of, the last couple of days, I've taken a break from doing anything on the computer because I just needed, I just needed it.

So, I think I'll start focusing more on these live streams again, right? I know some of you guys are like, Where is he? He's not on anymore. I'm on, just doing other things. Just so the Statue of Liberty's beacon turns on. It's okay, this music fan. Yeah, doing all the stuff for Coney in the USA, like really, especially the last few weeks. It took up like all my time, and I don't have the same kind of energy to give you guys if I'm tired or anything like that. So now I'm back to it. What I should do is that I should be doing a live stream at least every day, at least an hour a day to retain you, to retain you guys. get a quick look at the city. Looks like there's quite a few people here on the bridge here, so I'm gonna let that bridge thin out just a little bit before heading on up there. We'll quickly say hello to the Statue of Liberty for climbing up those steps. You hungry? I ate too much sausages and peppers today. This is why I'm out walking and I want to feel. I don't want to have a guilty country drinking beer. So, and what should I drink tonight? Should I drink torpedoes or white claw? I'll let the audience decide. Torpedoes or white claw, which one should I have? There's Manhattan. We'll say hello to the city, then we'll make our way up the stairs. Claw is for radio shows. Yeah, might be. There it is, the New York City skyline, of course. Tallest building in the picture. You got number one World Trade Center, which is like wow. They updated the zoom. I could really zoom in far now. See, there's number one World Trade Center as I make my way uptown.

you will see the building with the white lights in the center of the screen. That's the Empire State Building. And then off to the right-hand side, I could see the Steinway Tower, that really, really thin one behind the Empire State Building. That's the Steinway Tower. And then behind that, the, uh, I guess, One Vanderbilt under construction. And then the tallest building on, and then the tallest building on the far right-hand side, that is 432 Park Avenue. And then, uh, at the base of 432 Park Avenue, so the thin rectangle, uh, you see that, uh, a white light that kind of goes across. That is the former Pan Am Building, today the MetLife Building. And you can just see the Chrysler Building peeking up behind the trees over there. But there is the New York City skyline. Let's see how, let's see how good we can see the statue with the new super zoom. There's a statue. Okay, we can see it. Okay, the Statue of Liberty, 351 feet, one inch tall.

if you get two pennies together, that's how thick her skin is. You'll be stuck in wintertime if they tighten up on the COVID stuff. That's when you think, Yeah, yeah, I think so too. We're losing the people who, the slightest little inconvenience, they leave. So you can do without these people.

you can do very well without these people, so good riddance. More food and culture for me, that's the way I see it. All right, let's walk over here. We'll do a little tour across the street. That white house, which I would live in a heartbeat if I had the money. But do I want to super chat me that house right there and be much obliged? But this house was shown in the movie Goodfellas, and this is where Tommy gets whacked. Tommy becomes a made man, and this is the house where they drive up to. We got to come to the garage here, and this is where the car pulls into the garage. And this is where do people fly fish up the ducks sometimes. This is one of the areas where we have Christmas. So here's our where Tommy gets waxed right here. This isn't Goodfellas, and actually all this is still the same, amazingly enough, has not changed one bit since 1991.

but this is a neighborhood. This is one of the two neighborhoods we visit during the Christmas time, and uh yeah, this is where we have some of our decorated homes, which I have heard a lot of them will be doing it up. Some of the families that uh that have contacted me through these YouTube videos. I got some emails over the month, over last month, and they're beginning to plan, and I've already been uh told to go to one house in particular here in Bay Ridge, which will be doing up their lights rather extravagantly. So looking forward to that. What you seen a guy in Florida with a statue of liberty on his head and on his inner forearm? That's weird. He must really love the lady in the harbor. Lady Liberty looks like the suburbs out here. This house here is the house they always decorate the tree in red. It looks fantastic every year. Oh what a peaceful neighborhood. Bay Ridge living, lovely, calm, pleasant. That's right, yeah, we'll be doing those walks. [Laughter] We'll be definitely doing those walks.

so now just down the block from where Tommy gets whacked in Goodfellas. Why call mixed with Tanqueray a little bit too strong? I'll just have Tan Korea with lemon-lime salsa. Thank you very much. They only do exterior shots here, but here is Police Commissioner Reagan's house from Good, from Blue Bloods. Tom Selleck doesn't live in there, only on TV. All right.

so now I'm gonna hang a left here on 82nd Street, and we're gonna walk down Third Avenue now, and we're gonna see all that. You know, there's one thing I do like about the pandemic; it is all the outdoor dining. There's one thing I have done during the pandemic: try out restaurants I have never tried before, so it's been a treat. Good to see you, Jan Boss. You love Blue Bloods? Well, it's a better shot just police commissioner Reagan's house right there. They're always filming exterior shots right there on the sidewalk, but they filmed the interior out in Astoria, Kaufman Studios in Queens. So that's where the actual kitchen and dining room are and all that. I don't know if that show was renewed for another season. Hey, let's sit down for ton day dinner, right? Yeah, they're always sitting down for dinner. It wouldn't be an episode of Blue Bloods if they weren't all gathered around the TV. Yeah, a gift. All right, so there's a lot of people

down there in Fort Hamilton. Got to keep my head on a swivel in case the kids know what a live stream is. Here's the gingerbread house in all its darkened glory. Ginger had Bret House built in the early 1900s in Arts and Crafts style. This is one of seven homes that exist in the world built in the Arts and Crafts style. And I wish it had lights because you can't see it. Did they still film Law and Order here? They still film Law and Order. Uh, but I, I, is the show still running? So whenever they film Law and Order, of course it's still from the New York, one of those shows that they have to film in New York because the lighting. There's one thing about New York that you can't really replicate anywhere else is the lighting. New York has a kind of a bluish hue, kind of tint to the lighting. But I used to work 2003. That was a PA for Law and Order back when the show was good. I like to always say that when I won the

show you didn't have to watch all the episodes. It was like each episode was its own thing. So, I love these big houses, right? Bay is a suburban Brooklyn living. A lot of these homes date back to the early 1900s. Sorry about the wind noise, guys, but these homes are, uh, range anywhere in price from about 10 million all the way up to probably 20 million, maybe more, depending on how many square footage the house is. As you see, the houses are up high up on a hill. That's the natural glaze of the land, so that's the original height of the land before they built the street network and the streets were laid out or modernized. And this neighborhood does have the largest private garage here in New York City. The house is built up on the hill like these houses are across the street and underneath the house. They have a 15-car garage. Yes, that's what I said, a 15-car garage. You know, Sandy, this is why we're all thin here in New York. It's because we

always gotta run up and down stairs, especially when we go to and from work using the subway. How many times have I gotten from guests, you know, I don't see any fat people in New York City. It's because we're all walking around, you're virtually getting tired. I'm the one walking, and this entire time I had a mask on. You might hear my voice a little muffled, and as you see the park, the parks are packed, everyone's out the parks today. As you see, New York is dying full of crime, as you see all the buildings all around me are burning. Thank you so much, Stan. I got to be healthy, Sandy. I got to be healthy, got to be active if you want to live a long life. My tour guide mentor, may he rest, he died last year of colon cancer. He was 72 years old, but if you look at the man, he did not look 72, and that was because he was always riding a bike and always giving walking tours.

We're gonna walk up a hill now. I'll get some more cardio in here, and then I'm gonna make my way down Third Avenue, and we're gonna end at my beer store. This whole walk was to basically go and get beer, going the long way, putting in probably 7,000 steps. I wonder how many steps I'm going to put in right now. I don't know. I love how the only thing I could hear, the kids playing in the playground down the block. That's how quiet it is out here in Bay Ridge. Bay Ridge is practically suburban living out here, but we do have the subway. Homes are great. These homes here are gorgeous, and then right next to them all. I don't know how I feel about this house here. It's kind of gaudy. The frame of it's probably one of these old beautiful homes, but they completely

redid the outside looks too much. It's too much. Almost feels like it should be in Manhattan. But then this house right here, this is nice. This is really nice. Look at that jeep. We got a nice jeep back there. This is great. Look at this, just such great architecture. Yeah, beautiful homes. No, a lot of the times I'll see you later, Sandy. Don't work too hard. Do people know each other, have connections for the houses, for doing movies? Well, you know what they do. You know a job that I would love to have. Good to see Miss Blay. A job I would love to have is called production scout. Now, what a production scout does is they drive around, and they literally just look for places to film that coincide with the story they're trying to tell. So, these people are literally paid to drive around or fly around the

country or fly around the world, go to specific places, and look for a certain house or a certain building or a certain type of park with a certain type of view. And they just go around taking pictures, and then they report back. And then eventually, these people then can contact the building owners or the people who live in the buildings, and they have to make a film. So, a lot of stuff kind of happens on the fly. And for some people, if their homes are like for TV shows, if their homes are like regularly used and they're filming there maybe once every three months or six months or whatever, they're rewarded quite handsomely. That would be a fun job. I would give anything to be a production scout. What do you mean to tell me I gotta go and like read a real part of a script and see how I can make that come to reality? Oh, this hill's kicking my ass. We're almost to the top. Oh no, is this gaudy house? Look at this thing. This thing is huge.

I would not want to live in this house. It's like an MTV house; it's not real. But then the house next door is all class, all style, and it's just as big. Look at this little one here; look at this big one. This is right over Third Avenue too. Look at this thing. Boss Tweed has a more subdued house than that. All right, heading up Third Avenue now. If you've ever been to Bay Ridge, this is where all the bars and the restaurants are. Now we're gonna see all the life here along Third Avenue because, as you see, New York is completely dead. Everybody's moving away; there's lawlessness, and there's burning buildings everywhere. As you can see, folks, Guy Heyman driving the roads of America. I think what's happening with the pandemic is that people are enjoying the little things a little bit more, so those people are more grateful for what they have, so those people are still getting out, people are still eating, going to restaurants.
