Hello everybody, and welcome to an overview of the False Sun Survivor. This is the third secret Survivor for the DLC. So, the way you unlock this guy, I actually have a video on my channel. Just check the link in the description below. It's very easy to get this guy. Basically, you just need a house on seed, which is the Aurelionite item. When you go to the gold portal, you call Aurelionite. He drops the Hon seed. That's what you need. And then you take that, and you go to the green portal, which is how you fight the False Sun boss. As long as you have the Hon seed in your inventory, and you kill the False Sun, you will then unlock the playable False Sun Survivor. All right, so his passive is he has these spikes, essentially. It's like an ammo system. So, if you have unused spikes that each give you 5% attack speed and flat 2.5 armor per spike. And then if you use a spike, you have up to five by default. Every used spike gives you 5% movement speed.

and flat Health Region also 2.5. You have a melee attack. You swing it around. You can also charge it up to do more damage in an area. Your secondary is just throwing the spikes out. Very simple utility is a dash that deals some area damage based on how many enemies you hit in that Dash. And then finally the laser of the father. This thing you just hold it down, charge it up, and then you start lasering. It's not an automatic lock on, it's just directional. Wherever you're aiming is wherever the laser is. The first thing I'd actually do is just like throw your spikes out 'cause you get movement speed. Why the heck not? And you like Dash around. Remember, every Spike that you have already used, you get movement speed. It's a pretty weird hit box. There we go, we got it. The melee attack is not terrible, I would say. I think most of the time though, you're going to want to just charge it up like this. B bang bam slam the ground. Your main kit on this guy is

actually going to be your laser beam, your R. So, it's a little bit weird 'cause you have to hold the R key to charge it up or whatever your, you know, keybinds are. You can probably change it to make them more comfortable, but this thing, I'm pretty sure, has infinite range. Let's see if we can hit that wisp over there. I'm almost certain it has infinite range. Let's see here. So, I like just throwing my spikes out again, just get that extra movement speed. Also, the extra regen is pretty nice, so I throw my spikes out whenever I have. All right, let's see if this's infinite range here. Yep, I'm pretty sure it is. Yeah, you can see it hitting the teleport over there. So, this thing is infinite range, cross map, which is kind of wild. All right, let me get the TP boss here real quick. No items necessary. I guess we get one item, smile. One singular item. Let us see a can you think of a better item for the TP event? I can't. I really can't.

pretty sure all you have to do. Oh, also when you hit an enemy with these spikes. See that debuff above him? He's taking increased damage. So I like to spike something up, make sure he's taking increased damage, and then just bam laser beam. So that was one fully charged laser, and I think I had three of the debuffs on him. They gave increased more damage or take him increas. Let him take increased damage. I can't talk man. Uh, so I think you have pretty solid damage overall. Honestly, this guy seems very solid. I haven't started playing uh him yet for the eclipse grind, but I will uh very soon, and I'll have my character guide out. I'll have one for each Survivor individually, the Seeker, Chef, and then the false son here. Anyway, enjoy the gameplay here. You can get a feel for how he plays in a regular run. Peace out. Character looks underbaked. I'm not going to lie. He kind of does relative to the the seeker and Chef. I feel like this one was uh probably not baked as long as the

other two no flame. It's just that's what it seems like. Bang bang, that's a lot of AOE on that Dash, the Mastery skin. Yeah, we definitely should get the Mastery skin. Like, gold portal is pretty good, so I guess it's worth it. Whoops, I just tapped it. Eight damage if you just tap it. Yikes, and you can't cancel it. Wait, you should definitely be able to cancel your beam. You can cancel with a dash. Does it cancel it though? Aha, it does. All right, cool. So we go like this. One, two, three, four, five. Boom. And then charge his bad boy up and watch this. I have a sticky bomb and a mocha. I did not mean to just tap this. Wait, this is omnidirectional. How the heck did I not realize that his Dash is omnidirectional? Oh baby, flat armor OP, man. OP. All right, sit down, really night. Let's go baby, get me out of here. Wait, I took the wrong portal. on this guy. We just go to Mythis. Yeah, let's fight Mythis. Why not? Although I want a pillar skip. I'm not doing myth without pillar skip, that is for sure. I think we would mess up Mythri. All right, hopefully we get a pillar skip. We just go to Mythri, boys, and we'll be chilling. All son looks good. He looks really good. Yeah, honestly, the animations are not that bad when you're in the thick of stuff. You can definitely tell it's not as polished again as the other survivors, but they're not bad. with taking exit portals on my. This is counterclockwise. Good. The exception is counterclockwise, and it's above the ground, uh, more than the regular amount. If there's a portal sitting like right here, counterclockwise, that's the bait one, and it puts you in the blood pillar. That's like pretty much the furthest point away from uh getting out.
