In the Motorola Edge series, we have the 5th phone, Edge 50 Neo. We had the Ultra, Pro, Fusion, Edge 50 & now Edge 50 Neo. I hope the Edge series will end with this phone. But this phone, oh my god! You get a 1.5K display, a mid-range compact phone, 8GB RAM, 256GB RAM, 68W charging & everything that you need in a mid-range phone. And more on the Edge 50 Neo. That's what it is, we're going to do its unboxing & first impressions. 67% of the people who like the video, don't subscribe. It's a brown box & I remember that when it's a brown box, it smells good. It's not that pronounced, but it has a very nice fragrance.

Documentation & SIM card tool. Then you have this hard case; it's not a TPU soft case; it's a hard bumper case. It's a good quality case, and the color is matched. And this phone, oh my god! Look at this! Let's not talk about the phone first; let's look at the rest of the things. There's a 68W charger, adapter, Type C to Type C charging cable. Everything in the box looks good. Now let's look at the phone. First of all, the feel of this phone is rare. We've seen compact phones in flagships only, but now it's in the mid-range. And this feels so good, so light, very pocket-friendly. If I talk about the weight, I think it'll be around 170-172 grams. It can't be more than that. Under 170 grams, 169.7 grams. It doesn't have a scratch guard. But under 170 grams, oh my god! Very nice!

It has a military-grade certification of 810H, so it's very durable. It has Gorilla Glass 3 protection, so even if I drop it, it won't have any problem. And yes, there's a plastic frame & a vegan leather back. The feel of this phone is amazing; it's seriously nice. If I talk about the ports & buttons, there's a speaker grill, USB Type-C port, a microphone, a SIM card tray on the left, Dolby Atmos, noise-canceling microphone, volume rockers on the right, power on & off. So that's nice. Let's start the phone & look at the bezels. Look at the bezels; they're very thin. And that's why, despite being compact, it has a 6.36'' display. And it has an LTPO display, which means it has a 1Hz-120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It has a 1.5K resolution display, so it's a bright &

beautiful display. It also has a peak brightness of 3000 nits, so it's really nice in terms of display. Let's talk about the specifications. It comes with Dimensity 7300 on this processor. There's only 1 variant, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, LPDDR4X RAM type & UFS 2.2 storage type. It has a 4310mAh battery, so it's a light battery, which is one of the reasons why it's light. Because the battery is seriously light. It should've been a little bigger, but the software optimisation of Motorola's Hello UI is quite good. So you'll get a battery for the whole day in moderate usage. But even if the battery is down, it has 68W charging & 15W wireless charging support. There's another phone in Rs 23K with wireless charging support, if there is, let us know in the comments. But yes, you have wireless charging, 68W wired charging & a

decent battery. Talking about performance, if you want a gaming phone, generally Motorola phones have a curved display. Curved display is not that good for gaming, but you can play games on a flat display. It has Dimensity 7300 with an AnTuTu score of 6.5L. You can play games at 60FPS BGMI; you should not have any problems. It has a 4,516mm square vapor cooling chamber, so thermal thermal is also in check. We also ran the CPU & GPU throttle test; there was a 90% stability score. When it comes to performance, it's really good. OS UI is based on Android 14. Motorola has promised 5-year updates for the 1st time. It's important to have timely updates, as timely updates are as important as cycles. It's the 1st time in 5 years for a Motorola phone. It's been 2-3 years, but it has promised major updates for

5 years. OS Features are Moto Secure & Smart Connect. It's a flagship phone, but it has Smart Connect & gestures. It's very clean & you won't see third-party apps. It has AI features like Magic Canvas; you can generate wallpapers with text. So, AI features are also there. It's very important to talk about the camera setup. It has a triple camera setup for the A256 variant. It's priced at Rs 24K; you get Rs 1000 off in the introductory offer & you'll get Rs 23K. It has Sony LYT 700C 50MP primary sensor, 13MP ultrawide sensor which is autofocus. So, you can use it as macro & it has 120-degree FOV. And the surprising fact is, you get a 10MP telephoto sensor which gives you 3x telephoto zoom. So, you can take telephoto portraits. And you get a 32MP selfie sensor in the center punch hole.

Talking about colors, the cameras of the Edge series are really good. The cameras have improved a lot on Motorola. Yes, the edge cutout is a little high and low, but other than that, the cameras have been much improved. We've taken a lot of photos and videos. I'm giving you the G-Drive link. If you're thinking about it, go and check out those photos. You'll get to know that even this Rs 23-24K phone makes some really good photos. And 3x portrait, I mean, nowadays you can get ultrawide under Rs 20K. But you get ultrawide, autofocus, macro, and telephoto in this, so that's good. And if I talk about the videography, wait for it. All lenses shoot 4K 30FPS. Yes, I'm talking about ultrawide, telephoto, primary, and selfie. You'll be able to shoot 4K 30FPS from all of them.

And because it's telephoto, you get 4 different focal lengths to shoot portraits, from 23mm to 85mm. If I talk about the features: slow motion, video mode, portrait mode, you have scan, spot color, night vision, panorama, ultra resolution, dual capture, photo booth, tilt shift, time lapse, spot color, I mean, all the features you expect, you get them all. If I talk about the other features, you get all the sensors. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock, works quite well, absolutely no problems. If I talk about connectivity, you get WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, 16 5G bands, one of the highest, 16 5G bands support, NFC is also supported. I forgot to tell you about the sim card tray, let me show it to you. You get a dual nano sim card slot, 256GB base variant, if you don't have an SD card, that's fine.

Because you get 256GB base storage, so that's good. Let's talk about the multimedia; you get Dolby Atmos-tuned speakers with good quality. The display isn't that big; I'd say 6.4'' is an ideal size. Despite being compact and having thin bezels, you get a big display. And you'll enjoy multimedia; you shouldn't have any problems. You get HDR playback on YouTube, not on Netflix. There are no smaller features like notification lights, FM radio, SAR values are within limits. IP68 certification is there; I mean, what more do you need? Water, dust, very resistant; you shouldn't have a problem. For low-light usage, you get SGS Blue Light certification, so you shouldn't have any problems in low light at night. And you get RAM Boost 3.0, so if you want to increase the RAM, you can do that. And yes, look at this bold colour, blue colour.

There are 4 other colors like Pantone, Verified, Certified. It looks nice as well, & as I said, it comes with vegan leather. To find faults, I'd say, it's forward-looking, where I can tell Motorola to give updates on time, but they've promised 5 years of updates. I can't say anything about that. Overall, camera for the price range, display for the price range, 1.5K resolution display, highest PPI, 461 PPI, despite being a small display, it's a high-resolution display, so the colors look good, in-hand feel is amazing. It's a decent performance, you can play games, so that's good. I've already told you about the camera. Charging is of 68W, if you want to nitpick, the battery is of 4500 mAh, it would've been better, but then the compactness & lightness would've been better. Overall, I really don't have much to complain about.
