### Final Update on the Firestorm Build: Performance and Optimization Insights
* 🔥  After incorporating community feedback, the final iteration of my Firestorm build can **effectively face tank Uber Cortex** and **handle T77 maps with ease**.

[Music] [Music] [Music] all oh [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] la [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Music] I finally decided to do the final iteration of this build. So, this is my version of The Firestorm cast when stuns everything else build. Basically, I took some feedback from the community as well around some changes, and I do have some situational changes. It has managed to face tank Uber cortex at this stage. T77 maps, T7 map bosses are pretty straightforward. Like, it's not a big damage dealer, so I've managed to get it to a point where it can do like 500 to 550 depth Crystal Kings. It takes about 8 to 10 minutes though. And as far as delve goes, I'm at 660 now, and it's just like going down with no effort. So, situationally, I have three different rings that I use. So, in the PO, you'll see, pardon me, to get more damage polaric.

Devastation, the reason why is in the left socket. It allows you to apply Ash, which is a huge damage increase for the build. And then beyond that point, I also have my crazy 31% damage taken as recoup, 31% of damage taken is recouped as life ring. This is for when I'm like pushing down in delve or like doing like a delirium 100% Deli map, something like that. And then if I'm like in, you know, simulacrums or bossing, then hateful accuser. The reason why is Penance Mark, and basically this allows you to constantly proc Penance Mark, which spawns enemies around the boss. They explode, does more damage, really good for Crystal king. Other questions I had were around like map mods. This can't do, so you don't want to do no regeneration. Elemental weakness, if you can avoid doing that one, don't do it. You don't want to do cooldown recovery rate where Maps attack, that's going to mess this build up.

negative resistances because we are running RF and a bunch of other stuff, and regeneration reduction and energy Shield additional life is energy Shield are all mods that I would steer clear of. Everything else is pretty straightforward. Also, Elemental reflect, you will instantly destroy yourself because the build still outputs somewhere close to like 7.88 million DPS. And yeah, now EHP is totally deceptive because of the way that the chieftain works, so I'd pitch this EHP somewhere at like the 4 to 600 Mark, uh, 600k Mark. Um, someone can fight me in the comments over that, but if you can totally face tank Ubers, um, it's probably up there. Uh, Uber Elder's done, Maven not really built for Maven, not built for blight, it's not good at blight. Um, it's good for delve, obviously. Ultimatum is what this build is made for, and it excels at that. Ritual does really well at, um, simul ACS, yes, uh, delirium on maps, yes, uh, most other mechanics, Harvest, yes, uh, pretty much, yeah, it, it, it's like all

arounder. It's really easy on the hands. Obviously, it's like almost like a one-button build. But um, we've added a few things into proc damage, and we'll talk about that as well. But this is basically the final form before you'd put like Mage blood and stuff like that in. Can you make it better? Yes. Gloves are not fantastic. Belt can be significantly better. There's redundant stats on this too. Um, you can definitely find better improvements to the build and min-max further. I just feel like the build's pretty good where it is. I'll get the 1,000 depth delve with this, and I'm sort of out the point where I want to play my next build, which I've been, I don't have a clear PO for, but it's going to be using a lot of tech that I learned from getting this build optimized to make it super tanky. But it should output a lot more damage, and hopefully we can take it down a th dep delve as well. Anyway, let's get into the guide run.

through the gear usual stuff uh Po configs and go from there okay so as per usual configs so obviously solar Aral this is giving us a lot of defense against Dot and super amounts of recovery when we stop making Dot and depuffs expire quicker which is really good um solid grth cool the reason why is it reduces attack speed this really good for like bosses like ganx that like crack you really hard with melee so gives you time to regenerate uh time spent stationary is five um we always have we're always on low life so we run petrified blood so we're on low life we have endurance charges this is coming from inexurable I know people ask me how do I get endurance charges it's this node in the tree right here in inexurable uh it gives you endurance charges as you hit uh have you ignited enemy recently yes have we shock yes and I changed the way that we proc shock I took some feedback and yeah we've made that a lot better um have you been

stunned recently. We are 100% getting stunned now. Some people say that you don't need agnostic. I feel more secure running the agnostic, so I am going to continue running the agnostic. Um, now the other thing that can actually improve the DPS would be this too, actually. So if we went to 95, yeah, we're going to go up by a pretty steep margin, so that's pretty good. Um, okay, so then beyond that point, flame wall is up. We don't have these ticked, but if you stop taking dot, you're going to get more regeneration. I think you can see that there, um, which is here, right? So caps out at 3,000 net, which is pretty ridiculous. Um, 3,800 like total. Um, and then basically, yep, flame wall up. No other changes to these stats in here. Is the enemy cursed? Yes, we have double curs, so we do Elemental weakness and we do fire curse blam ability. There we go. Uh, enemies are blinded. This comes from the scepter that we're running burning.

enemies and ignited. Yes to both shock. Yes, we do run shock over in the build, and we assume like 15% shock, so it's pretty minimal. If you can bring the shock up by any mean, you know your damage is going to go up by 15%, 12 to 15%, about what I observed in most instances. Um, we have fire exposure in absolutely everything in the build, so including some of the gems as well. So fire exposure, yes. Unnerfed comes from Awakened Control Destruction, so level 5, 20% unawakened Control Destruction. Uh, enemies are on desecrated ground, yes, and that's because we have a Bottle of Faith built into the build. We also have Guardian and Pinnacle boss damage, obviously, so the damage is pretty legit, and the defense layers are legit, and everything is legit, so yeah. And I've obviously done Ubers with this, so I started doing Ubers with this, so yeah, it's definitely hit the mark right now. Okay, so gearing on this build, we made a

few changes, nothing major. Um, so obviously we run vs Vision, that's unchanged. Same with rise of the Phoenix. Now, some people ask me how do you overcap your resistances to 90%. Part of this is coming from the rise of the Phoenix, part of this is coming from the um, the Ruby FL that I've got in the build, and the other part is coming from purity of fire, which I'm pretty sure is down here. All of these things contribute, as well as some nodes in the tree, such as when we can go into it, uh, barbarism, for example, gives us another 1%. So that's how we overcap the resistances in the build. Um, and then beyond that point, we've also just got the dark sear. Yeah, the dark sear just as far as sceps go. Like getting a crafted septer is going to cost probably too much, and I'm a little lazy, so this is like the b anyway. So we could make it crazier, but we would need to start Rec combinating and things.

like that and get pretty wild, but as it stands, this is really good. It does a job and buffs up damage as well as gives us life per level, so we get an extra right now. I'm like Level 94, so extra 94 life as well, which just scaled up by percentages. I haven't changed my plate armor; it's just really good. You get to a certain point where you know, do you change it, or you can tank everything in the game, including Ubers, so do you need to change it? You could, but yeah, it's really good either way. Now, I do have three rings that I use here. So, the first one is Valerium. We need this because this is how cast on stun works. This stun threshold is based on energy Shield instead of life, so that stat does mean something. If you haven't looked at that stat on that ring before, basically means that if you have no energy Shield, you get stunned 100% of the time. And I have no energy shield and

that's because of the agnostic. Now, the argument here is RF depletes whatever energy Shield you might have on the build, and that's true. So, if you want to go that route, you're more than welcome to. In my case, I'm just going to stick to using the agnostic and valerium. That's basically so the three items you really need are the valerium, the agnostic, in the gear setup, and the rise of the Phoenix, and you can start making this build work. And, of course, the two Jewels, which are blood Notch and immutable Force as well, but beyond that point, my other ring, I have either. So, if I want damage, polaric Devastation. This gives me Ash if it's in the um or Ash on enemies if it's in the left socket. I also have this ring here, which is my plag turn ring, and basically, this is giving me huge amounts of recoup. So, this is really good for deep delve, and then when I'm bossing the hateful.

accuser, which gives you Penance Mark, and then you drop Penance Mark, spawns little minions around you. They attack you, not the enemy, and because they attack you, they trigger your cast when stun, and then you hit them, and yeah. So if you've got a boss like Kosis that's being a pain in the Royal hide, this is a ring that you can run to overcome Kosis. It works on detonate dead builds too, so detonate Dead with this setup. And I think Exile Cat has his version, which is like detonate DEA Scavenging or whatever. Um, his video is really good too, so his build's pretty solid too. Um, all right, so then we go to gloves. These are just like any old gloves, but the implicits are really important. So, you know, um, fire exposure on hit and also ignite proliferation. And then basically just have some attributes and any other stats. This can be way better though. Um, and then we have our belt. Again, not a fantastic belt, just anything I could get on the Belt that

would be of any relevance. This belt could be changed for anything, and there are signs like Stigan Vis would be a significantly better option to go with, and I might switch that out later down the track. But this is a bit of an idea. It is a much cheaper item to put in the build, and yeah, works really well. Uh, and then finally the boots annihilation's approach. So, this doesn't change. This works on basically every cast when stun build, and the big thing here is cannot be chilled, cannot be frozen, and you get adrenaline when you become flame touched, and you also have approaching flame. So, you do a ton more damage, and it's got good overall stats across the board, so it's a really good item. Now FL, I have progenesis. Uh, this is 45 or rabs. I think it's still 45 div. It's down to 40 div now, right? Um, this is where most of the currency goes, right? And bottled faith as well. I think these are like seven div, so there's 47 div or 48 div locked up in

these two items pretty much the rest of the build is relatively cheap outside of the awaken Jews and the Empower and stuff like that, and we did switch that out, but we'll talk about that when we get into the gem setups. Um, and then, you know, Ruby flask with armor. This is a cheaper route to go than getting the granite flask with it, so if you get the Ruby flask, it's much cheaper. Um, and then, uh, Granite FL with bleed immunity and corrupted blood immunity, so we don't have to worry about putting corrupted blood immunity into the build. It's built into the FL, and that always triggers 'cause we're always getting hit. And then I have a quartz FL with movement speed, but you can put whatever you want in there if you wanted to go Alm unities and stuff like that. And obviously, bottled Faith, that's a for gearing though. It's not like an overly complicated build. It's not a very expensive build. Like, if we start price checking this, right, so 40 40 C for the dark

seer uh 2C for the helm depending on the roll uh you know my shield is worth like ADC uh my all's Uprising without Whispers a doom is uh is one Divine polaric Devastation is like 20 C valerium is like 4C uh the annihilations approach is 70c my belt which is a pretty decent belt granted um is like 30 C gloves well there you can craft them yourself armor won't go on the thing but anyway you get the picture right so basically the build is really cheap to get it online and up and running gearing wise probably cost you like 15 div tops for absolutely everything excluding a few of the bigger jewels and then you just keep popping it up over time total cost of the build right now is somewhere in like if you account for progenesis probably around the 80 to 100 div but it's you know I've taken the last two weeks to sort of build it out and farm and whatever so

you know it's not the most expensive build in the world, considering it can run T7s and go down TH000 Del and do pretty much everything in endgame. It's a pretty good price. So yeah, anyway, let's talk about gems. Okay, so for gem setups, we made some changes in the helm. So now I have a Val Breach. These are like 2.5 DI, right? So these aren't cheap. But this was basically the, you know, doesn't show it there. This is so basically when you a-vering boss, you hit your Val Breach once, the souls crew up, and then you have a high chance of Hur's death, Fury of exploding and destroying the enemy boss in like 2 seconds, right? And then we have Flame Wall, Blazing Salvo, and Castman Stun in the helm. Then in our scepter, because this is more an Onit version of the build, right? So we have Flammability and Elemental Weakness and

castman stun then in our chest. We have Firestorm, which is 2021 or 2120, sorry, awaken Elemental Focus, awaken control destruction, and power level four, which they're like 6 to 8 div, something like that, probably a little cheaper now. Um, castman Stein level 2120, uh, and then we have awaken fire penetration as well. Um, and then in our um Shield, we have Vitality, which you could get a 21 gem. That's going to be a lot better. Righteous Fire and petrified blood in our gloves. We have shock Nova now, and this allows us to shock enemies. Does pretty decent amount of damage too. Um, castman stun, molten shell, and Flame surge of combusting. I found was a lot better and the base Gem. And then in the boots, we've got anger, we've got flame Dash, we've got Eternal blessing, and purity of fire. Now you could go like, if you want to switch it out, you could go like Eternal blessing for anger and then change purity of fire to run and then

drop another Aura like vitality, and you could probably squeeze a bit more into the build as well, um, or, you know, free up some dual sockets, or get rid of the all's Uprising, and then run like Defiance of Destiny or something like that. Those are another couple of options you could exercise, so if you want to play with that, make it even tankier, um, then you could definitely do that too. But yeah, that's basically for Gem setups, really simple build. Okay, so we made some changes in the pathing tree, nothing major, but basically, so we come down, we basically run, you know, up the heart of the warrior, and then we're going to come back down here, pick up unfaltering hits against enemies, um, that have been stun recently, cannot crit. Then we want to run, uh, life Mastery 30, uh, life and bloodless. We want, obviously, running blood magic in this inexorable 20% armor per sec, uh, per second of St being stationary, um, up to Juggernaut. We have a mutable Force, which we switched out. I think we had that in

the last video we have stamina for endurance charges, and we need that regeneration. Now here, barberism hearty, we have 50 life regeneration. Now in our cluster Jewel here, we have smoking remains. So we got rid of Crom, who was actually stopping Hur's death Fury from proccing. That was my mistake. So now we run status, and then we have widespread destruction. We have Nature's patience and dead gluttony for C, which is really easy source of C. But if you didn't want to run this, you could run something else. Like, it's up to you. And the other thing too, you'll notice I have dexterity built into this too, so this gets around my dex problem. So I was able to balance that out. And then basically, we come up and we get the life Mastery here. Now we want to have you count as on low life while at 55% maximum life, and this raises up the minimum low life. Sorry, you can't see it because of my head. This raises up the

minimum low life for petrified blood, so it takes it from 50 to 55%, which sounds like it's not significant, but it is. Um, and then basically we have Dominion, discipline and training, sanctity. Then we come up, we've got our blood Notch, so I got this up to 55% instead of 60% endurance. Then we go to Divine judgment, another two levels, and we put nodes into Divine Fury and our node here. And then we also want to take exposure, inflicts another 8%, um, you know, fire exposure. Uh, and then we got the agnostic. Now, if you think you don't need the agnostic, you don't need to take it because we have RF. We do deplete any ES that we have, um, residual. So yeah, you could run this if you're running RF 100% of the time. Um, and then basically purity of Flesh and all the life nodes in this wheel up to Holy Fire with regenerate One Life per uncapped Fire Res. Then we come down, we just want

to grab Elemental overload, so we don't need to pull any of these attribute nodes anymore. So I fix this in the build, and then basically we grab cruel preparations. We need infused flesh, we need to align life recoup as well in the Mastery, so this needs to be within the build too. For some reason, if you have it per se versus this recur effect, it doesn't work very well. Um, and then we have watch's eye. This is flat fire damage and 12% life recovery, which gives us a huge amount of life recovery. And then we also have the breath of flames, heart of the flame, and fire Mastery. Crit strikes do not inherently ignite. We do 100% increased damage with hits against ignited enemies, and this is because this is not an ignite build per se. It's like a hybrid, but heavily on hit, like flat Elemental damage build. So, it's a little from how most people play detonate dead or whatever, which is based on ignite. I just feel like this works better because on hit just hits harder.

than ignites, but um, you know, if you got your build working with Ignite, it should be fine. Uh, and then on the ascendency, obviously, you want to go toos cleansing water, up to volo's storms Embrace, into ramico Sun's light, and hur's death Fury, which gives us the explode, which does huge amounts of damage, 500% of their maximum life as fire damage. Now, obviously, it went through pantheons as well, so Sol Cari and solar grth cool if you wanted to know that. But that's it for the uh for the skill tree. There's not like anything wild in the skill tree or anything like that. It's really easy, but I will be using this in other builds. CU, there are some things I want to do with this in the next build I want to play, which I'll probably make it a um a blood magic build as well. Okay, so hopefully this helps you if you are getting stuck um. Taste of hate, I I had a look at that, and yeah uh bottle Faith.

works better. I made adjustments in the build that you can see now that optimized the few problems that were in the previous build update. But as far as the updates go, this will be the final update for this build. I don't think I need to, you know, slap that dead horse anymore. This build's pretty much at a point where I'm pretty comfortable with it. Like, I don't feel like I need to make any changes outside of maybe adding a mage blood down the track or something like that. I've been using this to farm tons of ultimatums. Now I'm going to try and start working on the ultimatum guide this afternoon as well, though I'm not sure if it will be out tonight. And I'll have some pee2 videos coming out too, 'cause we got some stuff from Gamescom, and I'm going to go through and sort of break that down.
