THE CITY. RIGHT NOW, THE WINDS AREN'T TOO BAD, BUT THEY DID CAUSE QUITE A BIT OF DAMAGE. TWO PEOPLE WERE HIT BY FALLING DEBRIS AROUND 1:30 THIS AFTERNOON. A 68-YEAR-OLD WOMAN AND A 71-YEAR-OLD MAN, ONE HAS A SHOULDER INJURY AND THE OTHER, A HIP INJURY. POLICE SAY THAT A PIECE OF FACADE CAME OFF A BUSINESS, AND SCAFFOLDING WAS DAMAGED BY THE WIND AS WELL. IN HARLEM ON 114TH STREET, BROKEN PIECES OF WOOD SCAFFOLDING MATERIAL FELL THERE, AND ON STATEN ISLAND, LOOK AT THIS TREE THAT PIERCED A CAR'S WINDSHIELD. NO ONE WAS INSIDE AT THE TIME. THAT PICTURE IS INCREDIBLE. IT'S JUST AMAZING THAT NO ONE WAS INJURED.

AGAIN, WE'RE IN THE UPPER WEST SIDE, AND THE RAIN HERE, WE HAVE BEEN CHECKING IT OUT IN MOBILE 2, AND THE RAIN, ON AND OFF, AND LIGHT AT TIMES, AND NOT SUPER HEAVY, BUT THE WINDS WILL GET YOU. A LOT OF RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS ARE PUTTING OUT ALERTS, LETTING YOU KNOW IF YOU HAVE FURNITURE OUTSIDE TO SECURE IT AND BRING IT INSIDE, AND MY BUILDING IS TELLING US TO USE THE ROTATING DOOR AND NOT THE REGULAR DOORS. THEY DON'T WANT THEM FLYING ONLY AND INJURING ANYONE. SO BE CAREFUL IF YOU ARE HEADING OUT. RIGHT NOW, NOT TOO BAD IF YOU ARE ABLE TO HEAD HOME AND GET A JUMPSTART.
