spoiler alert a CBDC is already here. Let's talk about the rise of stable coins. It will never be a CBDC while I'm president of the United States. We will create a framework to enable the safe, responsible expansion of stable coins. Do you know what a stable coin is? Does anybody know? Please raise your hand. Welcome back everyone. That's right, we're still dismantling the Trump speech, but we're going to switch gears a little bit because this clip is not about Trump's speech. That was yesterday's clip. You guys can check it out. I'll put a link to it in the show notes for this episode. But what we're talking about today is the kind of more the hidden message that was in that speech and more broadly what's actually happening around the world. Because Trump specifically mentioned CBDCs and then he specifically mentioned a stable coin. Our understanding of stable coins is really quite simple. That they are meant to represent a local currency. For example, Tether. Tether is meant to represent the US dollar.

digitally, and there isn't only tether, right? PayPal also has a stable coin, which is, uh, I think it's PYUSD. Then there's the Circle stable coin, then there's the Coinbase stable coin, and essentially, um, almost anybody who wanted to make a stable coin made one. And essentially, what that coin was designed to do was represent the local currency and provide a peg, right? A non-volatile peg. It's such brainwashing because the actual purchasing power, regardless of whether it is a digital representation of a dollar or a dollar, the purchasing power is still diminishing. So this idea of stable coins, and I said this already three, four years ago when we started to see the major proliferation of these types of tokens, stable coins are a misnomer. It's not real, okay? The only thing that's real about stable coins is the number that you're seeing. That's it. And that is only being held together by a thread. So the reality is that the only thing that is stable about stable coins is their name because the

purchasing power continues to diminish just like the real dollars which are issued by decree from governments so there's nothing stable about them anyways anyways again it's it's just words that are meant to conjure up a whole bunch of Happiness um but the point is this right governments around the world are not giving up on this idea of a CBDC and more importantly they just found a really great way to mask it anyways our first example is the Bank of England that's right guys there was some news that dropped today that the Bank of England said it plans to carry out a series of experiments on a wholesale Central Bank digital currency and distributed Ledger technology oh wow that that just sounds wonderful and this is where it gets really fun right it's going to experiment to ensure that the singleness of money is maintained with stable coins and tokenized deposits um so I've been in this space now since uh 2017 this is the first time I hear of this made-up term of singleness of money and I I guess what I can say is

when I say the when I say these words singleness of money and I think about how they make me feel they make me feel safe and that is the point right that that is the whole point. It's it's all about how we feel when we say these words well singleness of money that sounds like something really important that we should strive for that sounds like everybody is getting a fair deal with the singleness of money it's it's just mind that's all it is ah but guess what they don't stop there they they don't stop there at all back onto that singleness of money right this is it's interesting I I've rarely ever heard this term but yet all of a sudden all of a sudden now it's here multiple times anyway so here we go payment system regulators and the financial conduct Authority um also ensure the singleness of money is maintained even when stable coins are involved so look stable coins are good okay which I I'm not saying that I'm just telling you what the

article is saying so look stable coins are good, but they still require our Central Bank to maintain them. Okay. And when we're involved, the central bank is involved, well, we maintain the singleness of money. Okay. So, so look, even though we're going to give you these digital tools which actually make us obsolete, we need you to remember that we're not obsolete because we are ensuring the singleness of money's. That even really mean. And as if you haven't heard me say singleness of money enough times, here we go. In the discussion paper, the bank said it will carry out a series of experiments to ensure the singleness of money is maintained between stable coins and tokenized deposits, which are deposit CLS represented on programmable platforms. Ah, there it is again. See, you can't do anything without the intelligent Architects, right? The intelligent Architects, which are the government and the central Bankers because they are maintaining the singleness of money. So finally, they're saying that they should consider applying new tokenization technology to Conventional money rather.

than the crypto asset markets where they were first employed. Now, if you don't understand what that means, I'll break it down for you. All of the shitcoin Believers are about to become coiners in this belief because what this means is, Hey, we've seen what you've done with your shitcoins, but you're not the game in town. We own the rails, we own the financial system. We're about to do what you only dreamed of doing, and we're going to do it on our platform. So, the reality is that we're going to take your little crappy crypto innovation, we're going to slap our banking logos on it, and then it becomes our invention. And that is exactly what's happening. This is something I have been saying for probably over a year, okay, and I know the coiners, they desperately want to believe that the government or some entity is going to pump their bags. You don't understand, this is open technology that Banks, which interestingly enough, there's already a few banks that have gone hired their own

programmers and forked the code that they wanted, and made it into their own, so that they can control it with their moat. None of what they build is going to create value for your shitcoin. You've just been grifted, that's all it is. You bought into a hype that you didn't understand, and instead of taking all of that time to understand Bitcoin, you thought that you would risk everything on shitcoins, and you were wrong, okay? And now the banks and the governments are going to build their own little Casino. They're going to build their own little moat, which they've already had, right? But now they're just going to put up the little tents in it, and everyone's going to go shopping around in their little village. This was inevitable, this was obvious to anyone that was paying attention. Why would you think for a second that the most powerful institutions in all of humanity would just give up that control to a bunch of nerds that wrote some

code about blockchains of course not. It's just naive. It's naive. And the marketers did a great job of selling so many people on that dream. Anyways, anyways, it's just part for the course. It's no surprise. Okay. Um, anything is worthwhile in the crypto space. The traditional markets will simply take over and turn into their own product. And believe me, they are not going to give you a penny of those profits unless it is under their conditions. And their conditions usually involve spinning out a public company where they can dump their pre-IPO or their series A, B, and C shares onto the market. That's all that is. Okay. No one's going to pay you for your shitcoin. In the grand scheme of everything, what are we seeing? We're seeing the proliferation of the stablecoins. We are seeing the stablecoins extend the US hegemony, right? I mean, this is. We saw this in Trump's speech where he specifically mentioned maintaining the power of the US dollar. Now what do we know currently

okay, well, we do know that Tether holds about $73 billion of US Treasuries. Okay, so right there, Tether is doing the right thing to pay it a play. I've said this before in the past. Now, the new piece of news which has come out: CZ stepped down as CEO of Binance. Now, he was also arrested. He was also fined, right? Public shaming, terrible things you've done, right? He went through the public humiliation ritual. He was supplanted with a new CEO that falls more in line with the traditional banking system. And lo and behold, what did we get two weeks ago? Oh, look at that, Binance all of a sudden has just been given the green light to purchase US Treasury bills with customer funds. Wow, look at that. So, for the people who believe that their shitcoin is somehow going to come in and start supplanting things, you need to realize who the real big players are here. On one side, you have the PayPal Mafia, right? You've got the Peter Thiel's of the

world you've got these people that are secretly pushing PayPal USD as a stable coin. Okay, then you've got this other team that is pushing tether as a stable coin. Okay, then you have other groups that are pushing that are pushing Circle as a stable coin. And in some other cases, you have these Banks out in Europe that are trying to create their own CBDC. But you know what, all of this is all of this is not your shitcoin. Okay, all of this is not your shitcoin. Stable coins aren't going away. They're just gaining in power and changing their form, guys. That's all I wanted to talk about today. I'll catch you tomorrow.
