Weather Update: Clear Skies and Rising Temperatures

The current temperature is 57 degrees, with a high of 61 degrees earlier in the day.

The morning started off cooler, with temperatures around 45-46 degrees.

Freeze warnings were in place from Poughkeepsie to Somerville, but temperatures are now starting to warm up.

Most of the precipitation is moving north, with only a couple of drops possible in the area on Tuesday.

The better chance for rain will be later in the week, especially on Friday.

Thursday will bring record-setting warm temperatures, with Central Park's forecast reaching 81 degrees.

The winds are favorable for runners, with clear skies and a temperature of 52 today.

Tomorrow will be similar, reaching 65, with a slight chance of a shower on Tuesday.

The week will warm up, possibly reaching mid-70s by Wednesday, with a better chance of rain on Friday.
