A cooler weekend is ahead, with temperatures returning to normal in the 58-59 degree range on Saturday.

Hurricane Rafael rapidly intensified from a category 1 to 3, and there are some raindrops off to the west.

Temperatures are consistently above average, with even the 59-degree mark being one degree higher.

The weather models are in disagreement about the storm's path next week, with some pushing it north and east, while others go south and west.

A better chance of rain is expected from Sunday into Monday, but it will be minimal, with more significant rainfall projected for late Thursday.
