State police are investigating a hit-and-run claim from two years ago.

The dry conditions in New Jersey persist, with no significant rain expected in the next three to five days.

The temperature is currently 74 degrees, and the next chance for sizable rain is in eight days.

Record-Breaking Heat in Central Park and Surrounding Areas

Central Park and LaGuardia both hit record temperatures of 80 degrees, while Newark reached 83 degrees.

Most areas on the list also recorded temperatures just above the previous highs.

A front is currently pushing through the area, bringing minimal rain, with only a slight chance of precipitation by early Thursday morning.
