I know we don't usually do this, but I have to fill you in if you won't. What the hell, Mr. Robot? What the hell? Why you talking to me, man? Yo, yo, yo, what is up, everybody? Welcome back to another TV show reaction and commentary. And today, we're going to be continuing on with Mr. Robot. And sadly, after that, we will not be, which is kind of crazy to say. But man, this has been a long time coming, and I'm so excited to just kick things off with season 4 of Mr. Robot, guys. This series, I've talked about it in every episode, seriously, in every single damn episode, about how good this series is. And it's a shame that it's not as well known as some of the other series that I've watched on this channel. But I don't know, I hope throughout time, things change, and I hope that more people can just find their way towards a show like this, because this is quite a beast in and of itself. It's awesome. I love it. I've

enjoyed my experience so much with Mr. Robot. It's kind of chaotic. I think a series that has really hit me in a similar fashion was Dark, just for a lot of reasons that, you know, outside of like Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. The aesthetic just feels a lot more geared towards, you know, someone like me, so my bias just leans a little bit more towards series like Dark, which is sci-fi, and I would even consider something like this being more within like a surrealist or surrealism approach, and I love that type of stuff. I love things in that nature. But yes, we end the things off. The last episode was insane, if I can remember correctly, because of those of you who aren't aware. On Patreon, when I get done like the last episode, I usually take like a week break, but yeah, so much happened. I mean, we had the death of the FBI agent, you know, and how brutally massacred he was by the guy, and just yeah, it's it.

was crazy. We had the whole White Rose killing her, well I should say their, I guess favorite lap dog, right? And then coming to the realization that the other guy was also White Rose's lap dog as well. We have Elliot being able to figure out a way to get out of that situation just in general. We got Angela and her father reveal, which is absolutely insane. I mean guys, this is crazy. I mean, and also being courted as the next person to kind of do the bidding for White Rose and just the whole entire organization. So yeah, this is insane. I don't know where we're going to be going. I don't know how this is even going to end, but a lot of you have said this is probably the best season. That's crazy to think about, but I'm not going to, I'm not going to, I'm not going to, I'm not going to, you know, chill on it for too long, okay? I don't want to think about what's about to happen.

You could just tell from the filmmaking language that they provide, and you can just see the scene happen before it actually happens. It's crazy. What you tell me, you like me? I like you. That was cool. He said, This is Mr. Robot, basically saying, I'm vengeance, dude. The transitions are going crazy, man. They're going absolutely insane. There's been already like three to four incredible transitions that they just did within the start of this series or this season, and they're still showing credits. Let just started. I'll take care of them right now. Okay, I need you to stop looking around like you're a coked-up Henry Hill. That is funny as hell. I about to say, I was like, 'Yeah, he probably actually did some coke, do the train.' But we're going to take the long way. Want you to walk past the clock, go towards the Hudson News. This sequence is so cool, by the way. I think this is so awesome to see Mr. Robot just in a rather than just being, you know, covert in Elliot's head. Last car on the

And this is a person who from the beginning didn't really seem like he had, like, you know, a bunch of emotions, at least that's what was supposed to be signaled to us. But isn't it incredible seeing the evolution of Elliot through all this? It's incredible. And I don't blame them. They're exhausted, man. I'm exhausted. Yo, I'm sure that line speaks to all of us, right? The more she gets away with this, the worse this gets. So [ __ ] my feelings. Damn, he said yo, it's over. I'm done. I'm going to take

I love that they are just upping the saturation. Hell yeah. I know it's not just saturation. There's so much more with color grading that I understand that you guys probably don't understand, but I'm not going to get into that right now. Just know that the colors have a lot of weight in this episode, man. The clock, the ticking of the clock, sign in maybe White Rose. Oh man, that's creepy. That's creepy as hell. uh, my editor can leave that him because that was really funny. As soon as I turned off the camera, it cut right back 'cause I was like, Why is it lingering on the director's name for so long? Like, it doesn't usually end how it usually does. But there have been so many crazy moments. I just didn't really think nothing of it, but so happy that I kept the tab open because man, oh man, see Price in there. All right, it's the What's the deal? What's going on? I feel like Price is going to want to use Elliot to get back at White Rose. So yeah, this episode is phenomenal, guys. Angela is dead, and the way that I was able to see that entire scene play out. First off, how they merged season 3 into season 4 at the beginning. There was so clever. That was so incredible. But to then see or to have Angela's death be within the first episode. Kind of crazy. That is kind of crazy, but I

mean yeah I mean logically speaking, thematically, her character has done, has fulfilled her role, you know what I'm saying. If anything, it just goes to show you just how powerful White Rose truly is, you know, being able to take out the top three character hair, you know, that's incredible, guys. I'm so curious to hear your thoughts on this episode and just some of like your thoughts on the recent, not recent, but some of the commentary I provided on this, like the color change. There's definitely a color grading upgrade, you know, there's definitely something a lot more atmospheric, a lot more moody about these frames, about these shots. Even when they were going through the back, the flashbacks, you know, you can see it. So, it's really cool to see them do something like that. I know when Better Call Saul started to like, you know, incorporate something like that within their later seasons, I was really, really blown away by it. It was really cool. I think it gives such a nicer edge.

to the series as well too, not just from like the outside, uh, outside in, just seeing how this series is maturing through those developments. I think is really, really cool and also just shows that, you know, the people behind this are maturing along with it and they're still trying to do creative, risky maneuvers. I love that. That's, that's, that's what, that's what story needs. So I'm always a big fan of that, but I'm curious to see where this goes. I really am.
