Hey guys, welcome to Etsy print-on-demand shop reviews, episode number 85. Today, we're looking at another viewer-submitted Etsy shop to see what they're doing well, see what maybe they can improve upon, and hopefully all of us can get better together. So, let's get to it. [Music] All right, the shop we're looking at today is called G Japero Art Inspired Printables and Creative Textures for You. They are a star seller with 135 sales to date. They're advertising their sale up here, which I think is probably one of the best usages of the announcement area: buy two items, get 10 off; buy three items, 20 off; buy four items, 30 off. A lot easier to run those types of sales, by the way, when you're selling digital art, as it appears they are. Let's take a look at their featured items. It looks like they are, well, number one, priced at five dollars a pop, which is not bad. This is, these are design bundles, not a bad idea to sell them as bundles to

set yourself a little bit apart from people selling just one-off graphics. Um, it's also like a value proposition, right? You're getting 20 for five bucks instead of one for one dollar, right? You know what I'm saying? Uh, better value proposition. Let me know what you think anyways. And it looks like you actually made videos where you use the textures and mock them up on various products. So, that is an interesting take. Are you perhaps using my designs? Because that definitely looks like how my designs render videos. Um, so shout out to the my design software. I absolutely love it for Etsy. Uh, and it wouldn't surprise me if that's what you were using. Uh, it's possible you're not. You have these like ornate kind of 3D-looking flowers on this listing. Very cool. You have them watermarked as well. Definitely smart if you're going to sell these digital graphics. Um, the one thing I was thinking though is like you typically want to front-load your titles with the most valuable keywords, kind of specific to your niche.

you front-loaded yours with JPEG digital download, so I don't know that that's necessarily helping rank you on Google and whatnot. Also, if you take a peek up at the URL up here, you can see that it often does this on Amazon as well, by the way. It feeds the start of your title and puts it in the URL associated with your product listing. And this is, you know, just like one of those SEO hacks, like search engine optimization hacks. Not the end of the world, but it does help to include your primary keywords in the URL. If you guys didn't know that, it's been true for a long time. So, your URL just says JPEG digital download tool leather. So, I mean, it took the first five words right here, okay, JPEG digital download tool leather. And it would probably be better if you said something like leather textures digital download or leather textures floral pattern JPEG, right? Something along those lines, more descriptive. My guess is it'll help you rank both on Etsy and on Google. Alright, it definitely never hurts though to have like

descriptive high-value primary keywords in your URL, and again they're getting this signal from what you front-load your title with. So consider that in the future. What else you have going on here. I guess we're just gonna be browsing various AI-generated art designs, but let's see if we can have some fun with this. Are these all bundles? Yeah, they are. So you got a hippie bundle, sunflower bundle, Christmas house bundle, musical notes bundle. I do love the idea, honestly. I mean, you're in so many different niches, but the beauty of it is with AI. Like, if you have a good baseline prompt for how to kind of structure the graphics, you can probably just cycle in and out various niche keywords associated with it, right? Which in this case, you did good. Savage Noir patterns, right? And then what do you get in the Euro Savage Noir patterns? I like that. This is interesting, though. What is so... What is this? Dark aesthetic, cottagecore, celestial wall art, kind of witch theme. Okay, witch theme. Yeah, got it. Got it. Daisy, hippie, smiley.

so just various flowers, not all over print like the previous ones. I bet you the Oliver print probably does better, just if I had to guess. This looks nice for a primary thumbnail, but it looks like you're actually selling the individual graphics that aren't all over print optimized. But that's okay. I mean, I still think these look great. This is crazy because AI had to have generated these, right? You got like 3D realistic-looking gingerbread cookies and houses and whatnot as patterns. And I mean, it only takes maybe one of these to take off, you know, ahead of Christmas or something, and who knows how much money you can make. I love the five-dollar price point, though. The fact that you did a bundle for me personally, like my biggest success selling digital downloads, was in fact a bundle. But I actually did, I think it was either, I don't even know, I should know, but it's like 100 or 200. I can't remember if I did 200 and just did everything or if I split it into like two bundles of 100. I

won't say the niche, but you know it was a big bundle, right? And I charged $10 for it, so musical notes. I think this is brilliant. They even like sprinkled in the composers in some of these. Super cool. I wonder how you're generating these primary mock-ups, by the way, because I think you're doing a really good job with them. Is that a manual effort? I would love to know. Let me know in the comments or you know, however you sent me this via email, etc. I would love to learn from you. One thing you could do is, you know, just saying when it comes to pricing psychology, it never hurts to reduce the left digit by one. And you can do that by changing $5 to $4.99. Pricing psychology for a long time has shown that that typically leads to an increased click-through rate and conversion rate. So changing $5 to $4.99, losing a penny on every order would theoretically increase the frequency of

orders right. Um, I think really at this point we're just kind of looking at the various niches that you're in. I don't know what more there really is to say in this shop review. I mean, you are all over the place with different themes. You've got watercolors, you had the celestial earlier, just crazy. You've got like photorealistic in this case, some of these got the cottage core. So, anybody watching making a list of just these design styles, you know what I mean? Take a hint, take a note. Um, it's crazy. So, kind of like a painted style, but almost like realistic. These paintings look realistic, almost like honestly you had like a photo taken and then you applied a Photoshop filter. It's crazy. That's where my brain goes when I see this. But I don't know, the cottage core stuff, this is absolutely crazy. Are you using AI? Because this stuff all of a sudden is starting to look like it's pictures from a book. I don't even know, but um, you've

Got some really nice-looking digital downloads here. This actually looks like it's out of Creative Fabrica. Haven't we seen something like this in Creative Fabrica? Not that it has to have been from Creative Fabrica. Maybe they used an AI solution to create the initial, um, yeah. You got some crazy stuff here though. It all looks like really high quality, which if you're gonna do it, regardless of if it's selling apparel, selling digital files, etc., you should do it to a high degree and be proud of your product. And I think your shop looks really nice in terms of a printable shop selling digital files. I mean, I think you're doing it, um, and doing a great job, you know what I mean? Obviously, you probably weren't one of the first on Etsy to be doing it, so a lot of incumbents that you are competing with are, you know, probably doing it, uh, to a higher degree than you, or at least just more successful, even if you were on a level playing field. And that's going to help them, you know, establish

themselves earlier have a better rank on their listings and generate more of the, you know, market share because they're ranked at the top of search results. We know how that works, um, so that kind of sucks, right? Because you, I mean, the only reason I'm saying that, by the way, if I saw your shop and didn't know you had 135 sales, I would have guessed you had probably at least like a thousand sales.
