In a previous video, I went through the top 10 designs on Etsy and took a look at exactly what made them be the top-selling listing. There was one thing that a majority of them had that absolutely stuck out. This one thing helped those listings get more sales, which in turn had Etsy boost them up to the first page and get even more sales. Now, if you're wondering what this trick is, it actually is very, very simple. It just ends up taking a lot more time on the back end, which is why not a lot of people do it. But what the trick actually is, is having multiple different variations for your products on one listing. What I mean by that is having your hoodies, crew necks, and shirts all available to purchase through one listing. The common way to go about listing these products is to have three separate ones for it, where you can purchase a shirt, a hoodie, or a crew neck individually on all three of these listings. But by putting all three of those options right onto one listing

you're letting all your customers that end up clicking on that listing buy any one of those versions at any given moment. This means that somebody looking for a hoodie, who clicked on your crew neck and loved your design, won't be clicking off your crew neck listing and buying it from somebody else who has a hoodie listing, but will instead be able to buy the hoodie from your listing, even though it is a crew neck listing. And not only are you not losing sales, but you're also going to be pushed up to the first page by Etsy because it recognizes that you're selling more, that more people are converting into sales, and that overall your listing is doing better than the vast majority of other listings. Now, although this sounds like a very simple and minor change, it is actually very time-consuming on the back end, and not a lot of people actually know how to do it. So in this video, I'm going to do a full walkthrough and show you exactly how you can combine all your different product types into one listing. Make sure

you stay till the end where I'm going to show you a nice little trick that can multiply it into three different listings so you have an even greater chance of selling. Before we dive into the rest of the video, be sure to leave a like because it does really help out the channel. The first thing that we have to do is actually create our products through our Fulfillment company. So, we're going to head over to Printify to actually create those products. For this example, I'm just going to be doing it with crew necks and hoodies to keep it simple and quick on my end, but you can do it with any products that you want. You can combine it with baby onesies, with youth sizes, with other t-shirts. The options are endless, but let's go ahead and get started with this hoodie right here. We're going to create ours through Monster Digital, and for our design, we're just going to type in variations example. Obviously, here you want your actual design, so put your actual design on it.

the next thing we want to do is make sure that we have all the colors that we want. So, I'm going to go with a white, a black, and let's spice it up for this video. Let's do something cool. All right, royal. We'll go with royal. Obviously, have all the colors that you want to have on your product, but I want to note that the more colors you have, the more complicated this might end up getting on the back end. We're going to go ahead and save this product. Make sure you put in your custom title, put in your custom description, and of course, edit your prices. We'll go something crazy like 80% profit margin because, 'cause why not. Then, you're going to go ahead and publish this first one. While that's publishing, we're actually going to go ahead and start creating the second product that we have. So, for this one, I want to make a crew neck as well. So, we're going to click on the crew neck here, and we're going to do it through Monster Digital as well. For colors, we're going to have

white black, but instead of Royal, we're going to switch up and do Irish green. This is where it's going to get a little bit complicated, but I want to show you why, for this product, you don't actually have to put a custom title or a custom description, and you don't have to adjust the prices, because what we're going to do is actually not publish this quite yet. We're going to save this as a draft for a later time. What we do actually have to do is head over to Etsy, where we're going to have to do all these modifications. Obviously, before you head over to Etsy, you should create all the products that you want. So, if you have a t-shirt, you should also create the T-shirt product. If you want to do baby onesies and Youth products, then go ahead and create those designs on Printify. But once you have all that created, you're going to go over to that listing on Etsy. As you can see, we have this royal blue variations, whatever the title there, and this is where it's going to get a

little bit interesting for the variation section. You're going to hit manage variations. Then you're going to add a variation, create your own. This one's going to be called size and style. Then we actually have to add the sizes and styles that we're using. So here we're going to write small hoodie, then medium hoodie, large hoodie, and extra-large hoodie. You have to put in all the sizes that you want for your hoodies. And then what you have to do is actually put in the sizes and the crew neck version. So we're going to go small sweatshirt, because that's what it's called instead of crew neck, medium sweatshirt, large sweatshirt, and extra-large sweatshirt. Now that we have those, we can hit done. And of course, as you remember, we did have the Irish green color for the sweatshirt. So what we have to do here is actually add another color. We have to go Irish green and add and hit done. The final thing that we have to do before we can actually start typing in the

information is right here. Prices vary for colors and sizes and styles, so we're going to have that instead of just colors or instead of just size and style. The quantities are also going to vary, and the SKUs are also going to vary for all three. So we're going to go ahead and hit apply now. We'll see that there are 32 different variants. This is where it takes a little bit of time to fill everything in quantity. We're typically going to have $999 because we're going through a print provider. You do want to make sure that none of these colors or sizes are out of stock through your print provider. That's because it won't auto-update since we haven't actually linked them together. But for our example, we're going to have $999 quantity for all of these going down. And then for pricing, you will have to manually write in the price that you want. So if you're running a sale, make sure you calculate that in it. I think my store typically runs a 50% sale, so if I'm trying to sell

this for $30. I'm going to have to go 60 right here, and we're going to have to type that in for all of these. And then notice that it switches over to sweatshirts here. So if we have a different price for sweatshirts, let's say that we sell our sweatshirts at $25, we'll have to change the price here to 50. Now, this is where the really tricky part kind of comes into play. The SKUs are actually really important because that's how we're going to link it with Printify. Printify is constantly scanning through your Etsy account, trying to see if you made a sale, and if that sale is one of the products that it has on its store. The way it does that is based on this SKU number. This is an identification number for this product, which lets Printify know that this is something that you're actually providing, and they can put it on that order. So if we want to find the SKU for this white small sweatshirt, we'll go back over to

printify. We are on the sweatshirt version now. We're going to have to look at small, look for white, and we found this SKU. We're going to copy it. We're going to go back over and paste it. Then we have to do the same thing for the medium white crew neck. Put it here in the medium section. And again for the large. Take this, put it in here. And finally the extra large. Take this number, put it in here. Remember that you're going to have to put these SKUs in for every single size and color variation, as well as every single style variation. This is why for my example I only put a few different colors in there and a few different sizes. It will take up a little bit more time than just a typical posting from Printify because Printify will autofill all this information for you. Then to get the hoodie SKUs, you're going to have to go back over to the hoodie product on Printify and do the same thing here. We're going to take the

SKU put it in for the small white. Once you have all the SKUs filled in just like this, don't forget to turn off the options that you don't have. So right here, we don't have a royal blue sweatshirt, and we don't have an Irish green hoodie. But once you have that listing done, obviously putting in your mockups as well so it looks pretty. What you're going to do is go ahead and copy that listing. Now that you have a copy of that listing, what you're actually going to do is change these mockups. So instead of having the hoodie version on there, what you're going to do is have the crew neck mockup on it. You're also going to change a title a little bit. So wherever you have hoodie, you're going to put in crew neck as the first option. And when you scroll down, what you'll notice is that you actually still have these SKUs filled in. The prices are still the same. You basically just created a second listing that's going to advertise as a

crew neck listing. So now you have one for the hoodies, one for the crew neck. But on both of these listings, your customers can purchase both options. Make sure you keep duplicating these listings for as many different options that you have. So if you also have shirts, make sure you add another one for your shirts. If you have baby onesies, make sure you do one for the baby onesies. But this way, you can get multiple listings for that one product. So in my example, I just doubled the chances of one of these two listings going viral and being a bestseller.
