hey guys, P here, and today let's talk about Essence farming. Now, Essence strats right now are as meta as it can get, with especially the combo of calcification and sometimes, not always, but very often, adaptation as well. Calcifications right now are going up like crazy. They're like two to one Divine roundabout if you want to buy them in bulk especially. But there's another Strat that not enough people are doing. Now, how do I know not enough people are doing the second Strat that you should just keep in mind? It's because essence of Horrors have had a very weird trajectory this league. Now, people are crafting stuff like Arch demon crowns, which got buffed this league, and um, what happened to essence of Horus? Is it kind of crept up in price, and that's for only one reason really. It's because the calcification Strat is using Crystal resonance, which disincentivizes you heavily to use remnants of corruption, which is one of the only ways to get these corrupted Essences. And sure, you could say Val

Temple, but they made Val Temple a lot rarer, like I think three leaks ago, so that ALS is kind of gone. And what happened is kind of like a marketplace where these essence of Horrors are straight up six or five to one at the moment. They're already going down a little bit because people are catching on to it, but I sold these for five to one. I think over a hundred of these. And if you have crazy bulk, you maybe still can, but these will go up and up and up as it kind of like counters itself. Now, the way I'm farming my corrupted Essences is with obviously Essence Scarab of stability, which means that whenever you put a remnant of up corruption on an essence, you only can either upgrade the Essences or transform them into corruptive. You then add the basically mandatory Essence scar of ascent for, I mean, yeah, Essence strats in general, which is the only decently expensive Scarab. It's all right. I don't think it's

going to go up too much though. It's like 25 to 1. It's basically used everywhere. You can only use one, and then you just fill with three Essence scars, and what comes out is a really nice alternative to calcification. It just depends on how expensive Essences are currently. Normal Essences are going down and down and down, or at the moment kind of holding themselves, which you farm a lot of with calcifications, whereas corrupted Essences were going up and up and up and now are slowly creeping down again. So, it just completely depends on the price of corrupted Essences and Remnants, which have also been going up a little bit. Now, most of the calcification strats are actually doing yellow Maps simply because it's way easier, and calcification is a rough Strat. However, when that falls away, a lot of things open up on the atlas passive tree. See, Essence strats have a weird dynamic with the atlas tree because you put all your points in, and then you still have like

40 or 50 points left, depending on how you PA, and you took all your points already, so now you have a strat that is good on yellow Maps, which not a lot of other strats actually are. It's kind of hard to add anything. You have no Alters, you have no tier 17 maps that you're dropping, but you have to kind of do it because calcification on tier 16 is just Madness. However, something I've learned from trying this Strat in both yellow maps and red tier 16s is if you have a good enough character, you will still oneshot the Essences because you're not calcification, you're not Crystal resonance. The Essences are actually not that intimidating anymore. Now, this is no strategy you should do for a leak starter, but I'm just saying in general. I want to talk about what doing tier 16s actually opens up for you. I guess it's just kind of accepted that you do Essences in yellow Maps, but with tier 16s, I've had round about 25 to 30% more

div per hour, and that's mainly because you can add some other stuff. I guess first up, I should say I did not do any blueprints or stuff like that 'cause I hate selling them. I hate looking over and see if it's deception contracts, but that is a very valid strategy for sure, and I've seen them out there as well. But you can do other stuff, more scarabs, right? You can lean heavily into the Scarab rewards. Your maps are very quick, so you can even do stuff like chittering Champions as well as that. You get alters, and you should still be hiding all the bubblegum currency at this point. You don't want to slow yourself down, but sometimes you just get scarabs, right? And you get good Scarab rewards. Sometimes you get orb of a making chaos orb. It kind of adds to all of that as well as that. Do not underestimate how many tier 17 maps you're going to drop, and these sell for around about 7 to, um, I think 10 for seven divines right now. They're

slightly going up every day, but they add a lot to your currency per map. I'm currently dropping one every round about sixth map. I'm not using any cardo. I'm not saying you're going to drop a lot, but these things really do add up. Stuff like tier 17 maps or forbidden Toms or finding a random whatever the trader is called, right? That gives you a unique I for I forgot nameless here, right? Um, or just getting that random Sentinel, getting a ton of other tier 16 maps that your map Runners can actually use, blueprints that have the correct item level. This is the amount of good memories I've dropped so far. I've done quite a few Maps, so don't mind this, but it is going to happen, right? I'm just saying these kind of add up, and if you just, for example, take, let's say, every sixth map you draw a tier 17, then you can see, uh, let's say they're currently like, uh, 90 scene bulk, which is roundabout correct. You can see that it

adds like 15 C every map, and I'm doing like a map every 1 and a half minutes. And I guess before you, I show you a showcase map in case you've never done a strat like this. These corrupted Essences can be farmed by corrupting scorn, Envy, misery, or dread. You can also kind of REM remember this with meds. That's what a lot of people are doing: misery, Envy, dread, scorn. If you do this often enough, you will kind of remember the color pattern. The only thing that maybe you could, I don't know, not remember is dread versus greed. And if you use one of your remnants incorrectly, it's not the end of the world. And just to be clear, those are the only Essences we're going to corrupt. We're not going for upgrades anymore. They now all have a defening Essence, so it is just not necessary the way it works nowadays. So I'll just quickly show you a map right here. Um, what I'm doing is currently strand. It doesn't really

matter. I would just say a map where you can clear everything that you want to. It should be tier 16. If you cannot clear this being in yellow Maps, it's still fine. But the Strat I'm talking about here has a little bit more than just Essences. A big thing about having all these other things that drop stuff in your map and having tier 16s is even if you get unlucky in maps, it just doesn't matter. Once again, you get random forbidden Toms, you get random memories, you get tier 17 maps, you get tier 16 Maps back, you have all the alter loot, the invitations. So even if we get unlucky, for example, in this map, it just literally doesn't matter. I still use chisels. Chisels, I'm actually not sure about. You spend like three chos each on 20% quantity, which doesn't influence the essence, so I'm not 100% sure on that. You might just go for Al. This is like something you'll have to test out. I don't have enough sample size.

uh, without chisels, but yeah, uh, Scarab of stability, one ascent, and then three Essence scarabs. I'm sure there's other versions out there. It's just about basically farming corrupted with the stability. Now go in. If you're interested in this build, uh, you can check it out. I just made a build guide about it. I would always do either boss rewards, so Global rewards don't really do much for you 'cause we're not really farming like that, but uh, you just go Global rewards, never. You just go minion Rewards or boss rewards if you have to. So no misery, Envy, dread score in here. We go here, we just check it real quickly, um, round about every fifth or so Essence will probably have one, right? It's just complete luck of the draw. Sometimes you get four in a map, sometimes you get zero. We kind of even out over time because this Strat is so fast. If you have a geared character, uh, it doesn't really matter, and you just get so much random stuff, uh, always.

pick these up obviously. So yeah, you're just going to rush through, and you're going to look for those colors like I said at the start. You're not going to be this fast. So now we got an altar with Anarchy Scarab, so we get a lot of passive income just from that, even if we get unlucky and we get none. Okay, we have a 50/50. Boom, we didn't hit the 50/50, so be it. Luck of the draw, move on. More Essences, you just do this over and over and over. And I got to say, it is such a chill farm. Um, if you have kind of the um, if you have the build for it. We go on here, and now we got unlucky, but we still got more than we put in. Since these maps are so quick, I'm just going to quickly run a second map. Maybe we get a little bit more lucky. Uh, maybe at least I get to show off the uh, corrupted Essences right here. Uh, my experience has been you're going to be dropping one to

two on average per map. Don't be discouraged if you go some maps without it. Like I said, it's complete RNG. Uh, I now almost bricked my game because I got a spell EO Shrine. Uh, but yeah, press the Alters. It is still a nice income overall. Uh, if you're still showing bubble gum currency, it's probably good if you kind of adjust your filter a little bit 'cause uh, you don't want to waste too much time with anything that isn't Essence. Uh, so let's go over here. Okay, we have one right here, the Envy. We're going to corrupt. We got an essence of uh, hysteria. I'm going to show you how to convert these in a second right after I'll get the boss reward. Uh, we didn't, we kind of missed that one. Okay, there's another one. Let's corrupt it. We get another hysteria. Okay, there you go. Like I said, these are as of this recording. Uh, if you convert them like six to one Divine, that's pretty nice with uh, scarabs that aren't really worth

anything um, and you get all the money from all the other scarabs we put this. We got an essence of insanity, so we got um, a little bit of luck here this map. Now, obviously, you're also going to get a lot of ore, gold-wise. It's not impressive, but it's not bad for tier 16 Strat. It's like average, I'd say. Another corruption, okay. This one was a little bit too lucky um. This is four. Four is definitely above average. I think my best one was five or six. That's actually a Divine shrine. Let's see if I can okay. We got there. Alright, good um. But yeah, as you can see, you drop a lot of random stuff uh. One more thing that you can think about is actually which uh divination cards are on your map. For example, strand actually does have a good one nowadays, which is the fracturing orb one. I hope I don't crash my game by doing this, but if you hover over strand right here uh. There's one called IC Brothers. It's behind my

cam. I hope I don't die here. Uh, I see Brothers. This one dropped for me two times so far in 400 Maps. Uh, and it has uh two fracturing orbs as a reward. So that's pretty nice as well. Uh, let's Corr upt this one as well. Okay, this this one is now uh tied with one of my more luckier ones. Uh, can we beat it? No. Okay, we got unlucky at the end. God damn it. All right, like I said, it's a 50/50 every single time. Uh, so complete complete RNG. And then you also have the scar rewards from the bosses sometimes because you're using the rewards. So we got a lot here. Yeah, it's just a very chill Strat. Uh, it it looks easy but I I do have a very geared character. I'm just telling you that doing these in tier 16s is actually worthwhile. So even got a tier 17 there. But in general, the loot is quite tight. Uh, if you're wondering how I got my NIS.

this is what I do basically all day on stream. Now, the last thing here is the way these corrupted essences are priced very much depends on the meta. As of this recording, essence of horrors are very wanted. You do sometimes get people who just buy up the other ones as well, but they're probably converting it as well. There are off-meta builds and sometimes even other builds that, depending on the meta, will be played. So, don't just mindlessly convert them. Maybe price them first and, uh, yeah, maybe you can check it out. But let's, for example, say I would convert my hysteria. What you do is you go here, you need blue juice, uh, blue life force, and then you basically just go and convert. And it's a one in three because it always, uh, picks a different one. In this case, we got lucky. We got the horror immediately. I will get the lium, uh, I don't have the rest of the currency, but you get the gist. And this converting is not just nice so you can convert stuff that isn't being played into stuff that

is being played, but also because the higher your stack size, the more people are going to pay premium for bulk. So, in conclusion here, this is just one of the strats that can kind of balance out the meta a little bit, balance out the market. If you see that corrupted Essences are falling down too hard, for example, if you see after this video corrupted Essences going down again and like remnants are going up, then you can go back to calcification. But I just wanted to point out that there's more to the essence world than just that. But yeah, and since I might be crafting an Arch Mage Crown soon, I was also thinking about how to form it for myself, so that's pretty nice. Or if you're on SOS found, maybe this could also be useful. One more thing, I guess, do not sleep on the currency exchange right here, especially when people are just doing small crafts. You will see that you get some really good ratios right here. So, right now this

is 6 to one, which is the same as trade, but as early as like an hour ago, I've seen 5 to one. And if you can just sack in one or two of those trades, if people buy up the market, they will eventually get to your trade, and they will actually sell for that. So, it doesn't happen all the time, but it's worth checking. One more thing I guess that I want to note is I also tried calcifications with beasts and this strat, and it overall turned out to be worse, but that's only because calcifications are very expensive right now. They are like 0.5 divines each right now. But if you could theoretically combine the two strats, I think it's not going to be as good as either of the calcification or the strride I just showed you, but it's something to keep in mind as well. But with that said, just wanted to throw this out so you can keep your eyes open to how this is going to go. Corrupted essences are very wanted.
