welcome back, you filthy Exiles. So, inevitably, the patch notes brought in a number of changes, some of which have had people going full Bill Paxton. Well, that's great. That's great, man. Now what the are we supposed to do over whether or not delve is dead, nerfed into the ground, or totally unplayable? And to be honest with you, this is pretty normal. So, I thought I'd do this video, run through the patch notes really quickly, and talk about some of the changes and whether or not this put your mind at ease. That's a totally different topic, but I, for one, am pretty confident that Del will be just fine. So, let's talk about this. Okay, so the first thing that sticks out is perfect fossils. Now, with the changes to multiplicative modification quality on items, essentially what they've done is remove the perfect fossils, which, if you didn't know, previously, these fossils allowed you to have up to 30% rolled onto your gear, which is as far as quality. And this was

extremely useful for like Master crafting purposes and whatnot. Now, beyond this change, they have also done exactly the same thing for Beast crafting. They've just made an overall change to how quality on items works because if it was left unchecked with some of the melee changes and the uh, the multiplicative buffs, it would be quite out of control. So you know we're going to lose like on average 16 C uh per the drop on this per uh fossil, but we also don't know what the opulent fossil will specifically actually do yet and it could end up being just as profitable, but until we actually play The League, we're unsure. But let's take this as the first NERF people are concerned about, okay? So the second Nerf, which was pretty easy to see that it was going to be coming, is the adorned. Now you don't specifically get the adorned from delve. In fact, what you actually do is farm from the architect Curiosities of the Val. Now these last last League were selling for about 6 to 18 Divine

depending on the point of the league, and you know, as we know, Adorned was being absolutely abused. Hence, why it's being nerfed. Now, arguably, this could be taken as potentially it will detract people from playing Adorned builds. I don't think that's the case. I think they've balanced a lot of the upper end with a lot of the melee skills that, to be honest with you, the Adorned is just going to absolutely throttle their damage up to ridiculous levels anyway if they played similarly to last league. So, having a modifier that's between 50 to 100% is still extremely powerful. Do I think that this is going to drop the price of the Curiosity of the Val? Well, that's soon to be seen. We'll just have to wait and see what happens next league, but it's still in the game and it's still farmable, so fingers crossed it doesn't impact it too much. Okay, so the next one is in relation to the actual item drops that you used to find in Delve itself, so it relates to many

modified fires that granted physical damage taken as an elemental or chaos attribute can no longer role. This includes incursion Temple and delve modifies on helmets, corruption modifies on Shields, Fire War band modifies on helmets, and all watches are modifies. Now the reason why this isn't necessarily going to be a loss this league, it is sort of is a loss overall, but it's not a loss for this league, is because they are moving away from having physical damage taken as modifiers as a defensive strategy deployed within the game. And so things like cloak of flame builds are not really going to be anywhere near as effective this league. And the other thing is things like Defiance of Destiny is also being nerfed this league. So one would argue that even if they left this in the game with everything else sort of cooping a bit of a Nerf and it being unavailable in all the other mechanics as well, which would make it not consistent if it was available in delve and would make it overly valued, doesn't really matter at this stage now. Yep, it's

a Nerf like we're not going to be able to use that defensive strategy anymore. Not as effectively, but we'll be using other defensive strategies, and it's very likely those modifiers will roll out of delve as well. So, I don't really see this being an enormous problem, but I can definitely see why people would be upset over this. I can definitely see where there's going to be a loss drop off in the sales of fractured Helms and whatnot, simply because these were some of the highest selling fractured Helms that were in the delve sort of run of drops, and they're just no longer going to be available, which is unfortunate, but we just have to adapt to the game, and there'll be plenty of other things that'll be in delve that we can sell anyway. Delve is an absolute squala of currency most of the time. Okay, so the next one is the inclusion of Boss exclusive divination cards being reactivated into the game, in particular the Friendship divination cards being reactivated, which will allow for all's

uprisings to be garnered from divination cards. Now, the biggest disadvantage of this is the Harvest crafting mechanic that allows you to dup cards or chance and dup cards, and arguably, like if people are really adamant to try and sell these amulets if they pick up in value. Yep, that's going to be a strategy that you could potentially abuse. But that being said, like the chance of getting an oils Uprising that's the right mod, like you're going to be gambling a heap of juice in Harvest to do that, and the cards. We don't know just how rare they actually are as well, and there's always the potential to get an absolutely trash bag roll, like a Clarity roll or a Vitality roll or something like that. So I don't necessarily think this is a major problem. I think this card was in the game many leagues ago as well, and for as long as I've been playing delve, even going back into 3.17, I don't really think that this card had as major an impact on the value of.

all's uprisings is what we might be assuming they would have at this stage. I think I think we're just reacting negatively to this because, oh no, they're attacking our mechanic, but at the same time, like, you know, getting these cards, chancing them, gamering them, finding out their Rarity, things like that, is, you know, going to be pretty interesting. And the other thing is now we can see the cards as they pop up against Maps now as well, so potentially like this could be flagged up in that system. I'm not sure, maybe you can Target farmer moving forwards, but like what's the drop rate? I just don't think that this is a reliable enough thing to be worried about it being massively nerfing the um, the crystal King engagement in delve, and it's probably still going to be more profitable to simply just run delve at the end of the day and farm it from the boss itself because has like a 9 out of 10 drop rate anyway for Crystal, uh, for all's Uprising. So if you're running like

3 250 to 350 delve, which is my normal strat to go to. You're going to run into enough Crystal Kings that it's probably going to be quicker to just farm them out of delve and not waste your time burning maps. But hey, if you can burn maps quickly enough and farm them, then you know, more power to you. But I just don't see this being the big nerf that everybody's scared of and that have contacted me about at this stage. Okay, so the last one doesn't apply to us normal players. It only applies to Steve, so I'm not going to talk about this too much. But they just fixed like super deep Del Darkness damage. You wouldn't know about it if you didn't go down to like 50,000 depth or something like that. So anyway, not a major issue. Is it a nerf just for Steve, that's one player of the entire game. The rest of us, we're never going to worry about that problem. Okay, so as far as buffs go for

delve pretty much. The biggest thing here is going to be the inclusion of the currency exchange. So it has a specific delve tab. We can assume that you can quickly liquidate your fossils. Now, previously, the biggest problem with fossils and selling them was you would have to sell in bulk stacks and things like that, and that would take time. You'd have to manually trade, and it'd be an absolute royal pain in the butt. Now the big advantage with delve is being able to pick up tons of currency, i.e., fossils and resonators, extremely quickly. And in particular with resonators, we're simply looking at the generation of azurite, which you'll farm out of the mines itself. Then you go to Nico in the main delve encampment and then buy them raw from Nico. There's no changes in the patch notes that stop you from doing that, and they haven't alluded to the fact that they're going to change it from 300 azurite. So we can pretty much

take it at this stage that you'll still be able to get the one socket resonators for dirt cheap, and then basically you'll take that to the delve stash tab or the delve exchange tab and then offload them at whatever the market rate is or above market rate or whatever. You'll play the market, and it'll be instant currency back in the bank straight away because that's one of the most high-demand items in a non-crafting league, which is what we can see is pretty much going to be the case for Settlers of Cur. So do I think that this is a huge buff to the way that we play delve? Absolutely, this is going to totally change the way that we liquidate delve currency and drops for currency, and it's actually going to make delve ex extremely more profitable. The other big thing is you're going to be able to offload bulk resonators for divines basically straight away, so whatever that market rate is, usually it's somewhere between like 70 to 100 in the like

first or second league. At first, first or second week of League, you're basically just going to be able to dump resonators straight into the exchange for divines and just turn that into a Divine printing machine. Uh, so I'd say that's pretty good. I'd say that's a pretty significant buff, and I'd say that's a huge streamline of efficiency to make quick currency out of delve, especially for newer players. It's extremely newer player friendly, and yes, I will be doing a guide as to how you can do that because I can see that as a huge advantage of this new system. Okay, so the next puff is more like a negative confirmation. Now all Flames, uh, in particular the all flame Ember of sulfite, is no longer going to be in the game post necropolis. Now why is this important? Well, one of the reasons why the resonator Market absolutely dumped into the trough last League was because for 2 weeks and it went unfixed for 2 weeks, uh, mining byproducts was totally broken so

basically, what you could do was super juice your map, run multiple Embers of sulfite, and then make like millions of sulfite. And then you would get a chance, that it would be 10% of a chance, that it would be converted into an equal amount of Azurite as you were just progressing through the map, which meant that you never actually had to step into the mines to get any Azurite. You could just simply run maps, super them with ERS of sulfite, and then basically just make a ton of Azurite, and then go off, buy a ton of resonators, dump them into the market, and that's basically what bricked the total value of resonator last League. That is no longer in the game, and the mining byproducts node was patched last league, and there was a cap added to the Ember of sulfites. But it took two weeks for them to hotfix that. Now, that's no longer an issue. So, with that not being an issue any further.

I don't see this being a disadvantage to the game, and in fact, it's going to allow for a relatively stable resonator market, unless there's something else that we don't know about the new league mechanic that's going to allow you to accumulate resonators. But otherwise, you're going to be forced to go into delve and either farm a ton of azurite to get access to them, or farm them from delve itself. And that's really good for us because if that is the case, then it's going to be an extremely stable market, and we shouldn't have any issues selling bulk divs with resonators for next league. So I consider this a buff without it being in the patch notes. It's just like a buff by default at this stage. Okay, so the last thing that I've got here is something that's somewhat of a throwback to when chisels were in the game, and basically they're the new chisels that have been added to the game. So if anyone remembers when chisels were in

the game. Basically, you would be able to farm them like a mad lad out of Val cities. They just dropped like of every damn City nonstop. Now, they haven't indicated where these chisels drop at this stage, but uh, I would say that these chisels potentially might be dropping out of our cities like they're going out of fashion, similar to the Seance used to drop. And so, for anyone who remembers what we used to do with seant, is you would sell bulk seant for however many sea into the like bulk seon for divs, and they were easily accumulated in delves. So you always had like tons because you would Farm them out of our cities all day long, and then walk away with like total stacks of every seant imaginable, and then just offload them onto the market. This is again a huge Advantage with the currency exchange added into the game, which basically means you can quick turn around all these out of delve and just liquidate as much currency into raw currency as you

possibly can. So, the way that I see this is, potentially, we may find out that these will be accessible from Delve, and Delve cities in particular might have a proclivity to drop these. And if that's the case, this could be a really profitable add to the game, and I'm going to consider this in the interim as a buff. Okay, so whether or not you agree with all of the assumptions and comments that I'm making here is up to you. I feel like Delve's in a pretty fine place. If anything, it's going to be really easy for new players to make easy currency out of Delve just simply on the basis of selling resonators and fossils. Like, it's literally one of the easiest things that you can do to make early currency in the game. And yes, I will have a tips video of how to do all of my strategies coming out before League start for this league start. But, um, yeah, basically, I think Delve's going to be fine. I think the boss drops are going to be

pretty okay. I don't necessarily think ad dawned is going to die. I think if anything, it's going to be more valuable. And, yeah, I don't think uprisings are going to be in a huge disadvantageous position. Fossils are probably going to go up in price, and we're not even talking about the premium fossils that drop in Delve like glyphics and fractures and whatnot. They're obviously most likely going to go up in value again because those modifiers are now being removed out of the game with a copess league not making its way back into 3.25. So overall, I think Del's fine. I don't think it's dead. I, uh, I think people might overreact, and they'll probably post in the comments of this video saying, Oh, but you forgot this and you forgot that, but in reality, Delve has survived every single Nerf imaginable. It's had its good and it's had its bad leagues, but I don't think it's going to be bad at all, and I will still be lining.
