In the beginning, we were created in the relationship within God. Humanity was made within the safety of God's relationship. Therefore, our efforts are to return to that relationship. That is true reconciliation - restoring the relationship with God.

Hwahai, so when we live this kind of life, receiving salvation again is a very certain thing. Repentance is not just about knowing God, right? In relationships like that, there are things, you know. However, even if we commit sin and receive a verdict of innocence, we may still be released and able to do wrong again. Even after receiving such a verdict more than ten times and not turning back, continuing to do wrong things and receiving more sentences, that's how one's guilt accumulates. So even though we have received a verdict of innocence, we could still fall back into the path of sin. Therefore, we must keep moving forward with a reconciling life to gain life, that's what it means to gain life. Just because we have obtained freedom from sin doesn't mean it ends there. Just because we believe in God doesn't mean it ends there. We must continue to believe in God and live a reconciling life. Living a life of reconciling with neighbors, reconciling with God, restoring and reconciling with the world and the environment, participating in a life of reconciliation is participating in life.

Believing in Christ is not the end of believing in God. So if we end here, the possibility of rebuilding this relationship increases. Therefore, believing means that if we do wrong again, it means living. I believe in God, but I want to live according to my desires. Oh, I want to live according to my will rather than God's. How can this be a life of repentance? How can this be a life of eternal life? It means going back to a life of death. Living in Christ means no longer needing to follow the culture of this world, no need to be swept away by the world, not living according to the ways of sin, but living as human beings should in following the path of Christ. This can be seen as the kingdom of God. Therefore, relationships are restored, and we live a life of restoring others, the joy of living as a community, freedom from living according to the structures of the world. These are another form of eternal life. Ultimately, if we live extremely according to the ways of the world, we will face a certain death in our lives.

In a way, it seems like emotional death is the biggest thing overall. In the world right now, of course, due to the culture of certain workplaces, there are certainly people who commit suicide or die, but generally, what we experience is emotional death. Somehow, our working hours are long, relationships with people are drying up, becoming more individualistic, egoistic, and selfish, cutting off everything, and eventually turning into a society where everyone is isolated. So, isn't this kind of thing a form of emotional death? Isn't it the path to emotional death? Therefore, what is saved from such a life is eternal life. So now, you are standing here, and the drunk driver is coming straight at you. At that moment, Jesus says, Be careful, pushes you out of the way, and gets hit by the car instead. He dies. How would you feel now? If someone was about to be hit by a car, but instead of them, someone else got hit and died, how would you feel? But that was intentional. What emotions do you feel? I am so grateful, how can I repay the grace? I should have died in your place, originally I should have been punished and died, but instead, you died in my place.
