[Music] Hi, I'm Gabby from the Buncee team, and I'd love to show you how easy it is for you to get started on Buncee. If you're new, you might be wondering, What is Buncee? Buncee is an online content creation and communication tool. With Buncee, students can feel empowered to share their voice and their choice as they use our variety of media features to demonstrate their learning in a way that makes sense for them. Educators can quickly create digital materials for any subject area or grade level. Buncies can then be shared with the push of a button or even downloaded for offline sharing. How can you make a Buncee? It's very simple. Let's create one together. The first thing you're going to do is log into your Buncee account. When you do that, you'll be taken to your Buncee dashboard. You can see we're on the Buncies tab, and we're on My Buncies, and this is where all of your Buncies live. There are a couple of ways to get

started with making a new Bunsen. What I like to do is click the plus sign right here. Now you can start from scratch, which is what we're going to do together in just a moment, or you can start from any of our templates. What are templates? There are Bunsen burners that are here for you to use as is or for you to customize as much as you want. There are many different kinds of templates. For example, you might find something like this. We have some different back-to-school activities, and these are things that you could share with your students. They could copy it, edit it, and complete this activity. They can go ahead and add in videos or texts or stickers or animations, whatever they want to, to complete this. Or you might find something like these bookmarks. These are just bookmarks. They're here for you to use. You can use them as is and just print them out, or you can customize them for your library or for your classroom and make them your own and then print them out and share them. Maybe you want to make a science

activity you could do that. We have different science activities you could explore. Maybe you're looking to make your newsletter on Buncee. You could do that with a template as well. And again, you could uh just add in your information that you need to share in this newsletter and customize it that way. Or you can also customize the look and feel of these newsletters or really any of these templates. There are so many different templates and different kinds of templates to choose from. So you can scroll through the categories. You can also search in search bar for something like this. If you want to look for a math activity, we could find one that we like. We can go ahead and look at it and then click use this template if we want to use this. We can then customize this as much as we want. Maybe we want to write different equations or utilize different stickers or maybe add another page or cover page. Whatever you want to do to customize this. Or if you want to, you can also just share it right away with your students. Again, they can copy

this edit this and complete this activity. There are so many different templates to choose from. I highly recommend exploring what's there, but what we're going to do is we're going to start from scratch. So we're just going to click the plus sign, and you'll see that we're on our blank Buncee creation canvas. Now, there are so many things you can do in Buncee. We're not going to go into all of them today, but we're just going to cover the basics so you can feel comfortable exploring on your own. In the middle here, you'll notice that this is our first function page, and we're actually in the classic Buncee size. If we go to resize canvas here at the top, we can pick different sizes, including a custom size, and you can do landscape or portrait. I definitely recommend playing around with these, but for right now, we're just going to stick with our Buncee size. And like I mentioned, this is just our first page. Your other pages are over here on the side. You can click the plus

sign and add as many blank pages as you want. Just click Add Blank view page and then just select the page you want to work on. As you're working on it, the opposite panel is your plus sign where you can add in more items, and you'll see all the items on this page of your buncee in this panel here as well. And then, down at the bottom, this is our toolbar, and it's going to change based on what you have selected. You'll notice these big buttons here are just prompting you to add some things to your buncee, like items or backgrounds, or even if you want to go back to templates, you can do that as well. And really, when you're creating, there's no right or wrong way to start, and you can always change what you've made. I like to add a background first, so I'm going to click Background. I have lots of options. I can pick a background from the web, I can choose a color as my background, I can upload an item from my device as a background, or I

can choose from any of our bunsee art categories, and they range from things like photos to things that are more art and design inspired. I highly recommend seeing what's here and uh just kind of seeing what inspires you. You can also search in the search bar. Let's say we wanted to make a book review type buncee. We could just type in book [Music] and then find the background that we wanted to use. Maybe I just read a fairy tale book, so I want to make something that kind of has that vibe. I can click on the one I want and then click this page or all pages. It's up to you. You can always change it later. Now I want to add some items to my bunsee. I can either click the big plus sign or the little one. Either way, it's going to bring up our media palette. Anytime you want to add an item to your bunsee, you're going to come to the media palette. So let's add some items into our bunsee. First, let's add in some text.

we have a text box. We can move it wherever we need it to go and double-click to edit. Maybe I want to call this fairy tales. I can then highlight to change my text. Down here at the bottom, I can pick a different font color, size. My toolbar has adapted to allow me to do so. So, I can do that right there. And I think that looks pretty good. I can put that right there. Back to our plus sign. Let's add in something else. We could do shapes or drawing or a 3D object. These are really fun, particularly if you're working on a unit like anatomy or geography or biology. There's these really fun cell stickers for that. Or maybe you just want to add something extra fun. So, let's go ahead and do that. Let's add in this unicorn. We can go ahead and add that. And that will be perfect for our fairy tale book review. Next, we'll go back to our plus sign. And there's lots of things that we can add in. Let's do something from the web. Let's

do a 360 image. You can type in whatever you want in the search bar up here, and you'll get images from places all over the world, and you'll actually be able to click and drag and interact with them and view them from all angles. So they're really fun, definitely during remote learning for virtual field trips and things like that. There are so many to choose from. And I just type in castles because maybe we want to have kind of a real-life example of a castle. So I can pick the one I want. I really like this one, and we'll be able to click and drag and interact with this once we are in preview mode. Back to our plus sign, let's go ahead and add something else. Um, let's do a YouTube video. We have educational YouTube channels like Khan Academy or NASA or Capstone. Of course, you can click on the channel you want and then type in the search bar. Um, let's try fairy tales. Maybe we want another example, uh, to have as part of our book review. So I can add.

in this one, and I can have that be part of my little presentation as well. Back to our plus sign, you can upload items. For example, you can upload maybe photos or videos you have on your device. You can go outside, and you can import videos or images from the internet if you want to do so. You can click to record video, or very similarly, you can click to take a photo. So let's say I want to take a picture of my book that I'm reading or that I just read. I can click take photo, and then, Hello, everyone. I can go ahead and I can hold it up, and let's go ahead and do this. [Music] And then I can click next, and I can actually crop it, which is great. I can go ahead and crop myself out and just get that book cover. And perfect. I can go ahead and click save, and now I can upload that right to my bunsen. So really simple, really easy. I can now have my book cover as part of my little book report, and I can put that right over there.

next next let's go back to our plus sign and let's see if we have anything else we want to add now. I'm not sure what I want it had so I can search in the search bar. Um, let's go ahead and search book, for example, and you'll see automatically I'm on Buncee art. I can also search through our web image search as well for additional images if I want to do that. And I can get some book-related images. If I go back to Buncee art though, this is gonna search all of our animation stickers, messages, and emojis all at once. It's going to make it really convenient. You can hover over something, and if it has a play button, you can play it to see what it looks like. You can click on the items you want, make sure they have this blue box around them, and I can add as many items in as I want. I think I want those little fairies because we're doing fairy tales. Of course, I just want some reading stickers and some book stickers.

or like this one. I think that's it. I think I could do more, but I think this is all I want. I can either click add, or I can drag and drop them in, and then I can place them where I want them to be. Now, there are lots of things that you can do with items on your canvas. For example, if you click on an item, you can add a link to it so you can make a hyper doc. You can also click to record audio. Just click the yellow audio button, click the red button to start recording. You can record whatever audio you need to record. Click it again to stop. You can then click upload, and then you can go ahead and click add, and your audio has been attached. So, I think I'm all done. I want to click preview, and it's going to prompt me to title my bunsie. So, I'll call it fairy tales and click done. And of course, I can see all my pages here on the bottom. I didn't really add anything to this page, but there it is. I can click.

to load my panorama, I can make it full screen if I want to. But I can also, I can scroll around and I can look at this really cool castle courtyard. So that's really cool. Of course, I can play my video. [Music] Of course, I can play my audio or whatever audio you need to record. I can interact with my 3D object, which is really fun. It can do this from all angles. And of course, I see my animations and my stickers and my photo as well. That's just scratching the surface of what you can do with Buncee.
