so for the 3.25 patch notes rundown, this is genuinely going to be a speedrun. Um, there is so much in here, 30,000 words. I think is what they said that I'm not going to be able to go over everything. So, I have gone through and made notes on every single important feature that I think is listed here, and we're just going to go through. So, first off, we've got a bunch of new skills. These new skills are going to be mainly the replacement for counterattacks. It's going to be like new retaliate type skills where you either need to block or get hit, and it gives you a new ability that you can use for only a few seconds. And these abilities tend to be very powerful, and then they have a cool down after that. There are like keystones and nodes on the tree related to this particular new type of skill. Next on the

list is we do have a bunch of new chisels. So, these are Maven's chisels. I don't exactly know how you get them, but probably from some higher-end content. They're going to give you different kind of quality on your Maps, meaning we're going to get more currency, more divination cards, item Rarity, pack size, and scarabs instead of the generic ones that we had before. As for the numbers of these, I'm not 100% certain yet. Last thing in new content and features is that we are getting a new slot for stacked decks in the currency stash tab. No more having to fill up the bottom portion of your stash tab with stacked decks. They have their own guaranteed spot now. Next is going to be melee improvements. So, melee totems have just been completely removed. Now most melee skills have been significantly buffed to compensate this. The vast majority of skills got hundreds of percentages of increased like damage effectiveness of Base damage and normal damage to work around this, and they've refunded some

like MTX and things like that for certain things there is a bunch of changes that happened with this. But the tldr, they buffed most melee stuff and got rid of the totems. Beyond that, banners have been reworked. These banners now have no reservation call, they're free, but you do have to get these stacks of Valor, which you can only get through melee combat. When you get the stacks of Valor, you'll place the banner on the ground. It's in general more powerful than it was before, but the buff is temporary. In general, this seems like an okay change. Um, there are some worries about how these banners are going to function with, you know, like the lost stats that we had from before, especially early on, but I think overall this will probably be a net positive for the game. Another big change to melee is that rage has pretty much been completely reworked. It no longer gives any of the previous stats, it just gives 1% more attack damage per rage gained with a maximum of 30. And most sources of Rage no longer

give you that like you can only gain rage every 0.1 seconds, and you gain like one rage per 0.1 seconds. There is just a global cooldown now on how often you can gain rage, and all of those sources that used to give you like individual cooldown-based ones simply give you more rage on hit per that global cooldown. So like a pair of gloves implicits might just give you three additional rage on hit, and you can get that every 0.5 seconds. Realistically, I imagine you'll probably be able to get up to like about 10 rage is at fully invested per 5 seconds, so you should be able to generate a lot of it very quickly. Next big change is going to be that tinctures have been added into the core game. They have been pretty massively changed. Apparently, there are going to be unique tinctures, is what it says here, but tinctures are now a melee only mechanic unless you are using the Keystone from the new Warden ascendancy, which is replacing the Raider. We'll talk about that later.

can have one tincture at a time, and they do have this stacking debuff now called mana burn. Essentially, what this does is that while the tincture is active, you will slowly drain Mana at a faster and faster rate. And when you are out of Mana, the tincture deactivates and then goes on cooldown. All tinctures will go on cooldown at the same time. There are some ways that you can turn this into a life reduction buff where you keep losing more and more life until you eventually run out. But in general, um, I'm not exactly sure how I feel about tinctures. We're really going to have to see how it feels with the ramping Mana Deen and how powerful these are. If we have most of the very powerful mechanics from before, these should still be very good, but they're going to kind of be temporary buffs unless you are playing the warden, which once again we'll talk about later. Next is going to be retaliation skills.

essentially, are just replacing counterattacks. They all require you to get hit or block in some way. They seem relatively powerful, but they have cool downs, require you to get hit, and only are active for a certain amount of time. This is one of those we're going to have to mess around with and see how good it is kind of thing, but it should be a pretty easy addition to a lot of builds. I'm not 100% certain that you'll be able to make an entire build out of this, but I'm sure someone will figure out a way. Next, let's talk about in-game improvements. They've done a lot of smaller things this time around. There is a bunch to go over here. We've got a sixth map device slot. There are fifth and sixth slots that are available from the 10-way Maven invitation and clearing a tier 17 map. You get one slot for each of these. Affliction is going to be coming back. It is going to be a random mechanic now, so in tier 16 maps and

above, you're just going to be able to find the Affliction League mechanic. But it will have no NPCs in it. On top of that, the Nameless Sear is going to be back. Now, the Nameless Sear is going to have the same unique items that he had before. You'll be able to choose one of them for free. But he's also going to have this option to scry a map. You can always tell that GGG devs play Magic: The Gathering whenever I read anything that they do. But what scrying a map allows you to do is it allows you to swap the Divination cards that drop from one map with the Divination cards that drop from another map, meaning that you can find any particular divination cards that you really want to drop and move them to your favorite map base. On top of that, Divination cards are now shown on the map when you hover over it. And they've kind of like shuffled them around a decent amount. So there's probably going to be less of them. But you'll be able to

know exactly which ones drop where now alongside the return of the Wildwood. The King The King in the Mist boss fight it is back however uh that which was taken is gone and it has been replaced with the new pandis paact. Essentially pandis paact is still in the game. It's been renamed and now it drops from the king in The Mists. Talking about other league mechanics that have returned. We do have these new reflective Mists from the colandra league. Essentially they're going to show up randomly in Maps. They're either going to provide you an inverted or buffed ring or amulet or an item that will allow you to apply that to your own ringer amulet. These are just going to be random. They'll pop up occasionally. On top of that Sentinels are back and you will be able to find these just randomly inside Maps once again. They only last for that particular map. You can't pick them up. You simply free them and then they work for a little bit. One big change is that

monsters killed from all League mechanics and all additional content can now drop Maps. Previously, if you didn't know, additional League mechanics, meaning things that you got like through the atlas and such like that, those monsters could not actually drop maps, and only the monsters in the base portion of the game could actually drop Maps. This is pretty big. It's a pretty massive change to how map drops work, so some Shenanigans could happen here. And on top of that, scarabs, chisels, and Horizon orbs now follow the same rules as Maps when it comes to drops. Now, from what I'm reading here, this makes it seem like if you're dropping more maps, like you're scaling the amount of maps that are dropping, you're also scaling the amount of scarabs, chisels, and Horizon orbs that you're going to be dropping. That's the vibe that I get from this, but the language is not specific enough that I can really say with 100% confidence that that's how it works. A ton of scarabs

have been reworked. If you're interested in any of these particular scarabs, I suggest that you just control F in here on your own and see if any of these scarabs affect whatever farming mechanic that you're going to be doing yourself. There's too many to go over one by one. One of the best changes is that monsters in tier 17 maps now have significantly less life and deal significantly less damage. Apparently, there was a bug where two devs at GGG both independently increased the life and damage that tier 17 maps mobs did, and both of those changes went through and they never fixed it. So, they've changed it now. They're significantly less dangerous than they were before, but they've also kind of readjusted how much loot and such is going to be dropping from them. On top of this, tier 17 maps now will able to be modified with Vol orbs and chisels, meaning that those alternative chisels should work for this now, and you should be able to corrupt the maps. And on top of this, some of the modifiers from tier

17 maps have been changed, either removed, replaced, or other. And lastly, in this section, we do have Valdos getting a massive buff to how frequently they drop. Supposedly, they're making it so that the same amount of like Mage Bloods and Chase uniques are going to be pushed into the economy while still providing more Valdos. We'll see how that goes. I'm not 100% certain that that will be the case, but it is what it is. Next, we're moving on to League improvements. Delirium. Now, simulacrums are going to only have 15 waves, and unique items should drop more frequently. Ritual has had it change to where some of the rewards are going to be those corpses that we got in the Wildwood, although they have been reworked a little bit. So that will be a new reward from ritual, and some of the ritual bases have been changed as well as where you can find them. You are only going to be able to get the highest tier bases in ritual.

an area level of 83 or higher. Talking about the atlas changes, there are a bunch of extra changes in here. Specifically, make sure that you check to see if this affects your Atlas strategy. There will probably be an atlas revealed at some point when we get the atlas information on either path of pathing or something else, and then we can probably look at what all the changes are there. However, the one biggest and most impactful change is that back two Basics is gone. In my mind, this is a good thing. Back to Basics was way too difficult and way too rewarding for what it was. It removed most interesting things that you would even do on the tree, made it so that there was no reason to interact with any League mechanics. You just always went back to basics, you always farmed the same things, and it was honestly pretty boring, and it was just unfortunate how much loot was focused into this Keystone, and everybody was just taking it. Again, it obviously wasn't a good solution to what they were trying to do, so they've gotten rid of it.

completely next is going to be monster increased item Rarity and quantity. There have been some changes that have happened to enemies in general across different kinds of League mechanics. They now have varying amounts of quantity and Rarity applied to them. And also the big change here, this doesn't really affect you honestly if you're watching this video. This does not affect you. This is like the top 0.001% of people. But apparently there were some weird shenanigans that have happened in recent time where people were dropping like, for example, hundreds of thousands of uniques in a single map because of just abusing base normal League mechanics, right? So the vast majority of you are not affected by this, but they have made it so that those kinds of things don't happen so frequently. And a huge change, one that I've been wanting for a very long time, is that player quantity on gear has been removed. No longer are things going to be scaled as basic magic find characters where you just equip a full set of unique gear and go out and get 10 times

the amount of loot that's simply not the way that it works. This is something that I've been wanting for a very long time because it has always negatively impacted the way that people play this game in my opinion. Making your character weaker and weaker and weaker and weaker and weaker to get more and more and more loot kind of goes against the whole idea of Path of Exile where the idea is that you're supposed to be making your character stronger. So now Rarity will still exist on all of these pieces of gear but it's going to be more of like just a little bonus that you have on your character that you add to like rare pieces and such occasionally and quantity is pretty much completely gone now. Notably one of the most insane changes in this entire list and I I don't know what G is thinking but ventor gamble no longer has negative 10 to 10% increased quantity is 5 to 15% increased Mana reservation efficiency of skills this item is going to be ridiculous if I'm if I'm going be honest with you next.

is player balance um there have been a ton of changes to corpses. I am not well enough equipped in how corpse mechanics work. As far as I can tell, this is a across-the-board massive Nerf to any detonate dead or corpse shenanigan type mechanics where you explode the corpse and do damage. Corpse has no longer benefit from map mods. Uh, the chance to have higher level corpses or the corpses that you even want has been reduced. There there's like a whole bunch of changes that have happened here. Look for someone who is more well-versed in Corpse mechanics and have them explain it to you if you're interested in all of what's Happening Here. Beyond that, endurance charges now are going to gain additional Elemental damage reduction per endurance charge instead of Elemental resistances. This is honestly a pretty big buff like just additional Elemental damage reduction per endurance charge is pretty huge especially if you have a lot of them and a pretty unassuming change that could be pretty massive for anybody who does use one of

these skills that use a basic melee strike animation now have a more consistent swing speed. This is a massive change to how the play style and feel of these abilities is going to work. You will know this when you see it. All right, we've got skill gem changes. There's way too many of these. There's no way that I can possibly go through every single one, so I have decided to write down all the ones that I think are either very interesting or are relevant to things having to do with my content. So first off, divine blessing support is just gone. The only way that you're going to be able to get this now is going to be through the boots. That is pretty much it. March of the Legion. This means no more big free Aura with eldritch battery or anything like that anymore. Just completely gone. Cyanara not going to be happening anymore. This is more so a Nerf to just like early League stuff. You just are losing an entire Aura essentially. No more free haste on most League start builds. One big thing.

that's changing is that a lot of the hybrid melee and range abilities have had their weapon requirements split. So essentially what I mean is like frenzy skill gem, the base gem can be used by a bow or wand, but frenzy of onslaught now requires a melee weapon or to be unarmed. Elemental hit, for example, now requires a melee weapon. However, thank goodness Elemental hit of the spectrum still requires a bow or a wand. So they've split a bunch of these. Now one other big thing is that a bunch of skills that are popular for leveling like say Absolution or things like that have had their effectiveness of added damage nerfed at a low level and then it scales back up to what it always was previously. I think this is a Nerf to a lot of the popular leveling skills. I think that's the intention here. There are just a bunch of these like Armageddon brand. There's a ton of them. Notably, berserk just gives you nothing but increased rage effect anymore so anything that your rage is

affecting. Like if you are an actual Berserker or something like that, this is still going to be really strong. But for the vast majority of people, there's not really any reason to use berserk anymore. It'll probably still give you a ton of damage, which is good, but the main reason that most people used berserk was for the less damage and the movement speed. The attack speed and the damage was pretty good, but it was mainly the movement speed and the less damage taken. Now there are a couple of abilities that have been buffed but not buffed as much as the rest of the melee abilities. I don't exactly have the numbers here, but abilities like bone shatter, which were already pretty popular, have only seen changes of like 250% up to 338. Where there are some abilities, if I just go find a random one where it was like 180 previously and now it's like 347, like they've just been doubled. Bone shatter got a lot less and Bone shatter of complex trauma got a lot less this.

also is a lot less on um abilities like uh. I don't remember what it is. The dual strike of amod dexterity, I think is what it is. Yeah, I talk about that here a little bit later in the notes. It seems like they got less buffs than the other melee skills because they were already so strong. But another big change is that called arms is now called Auto exertion. This is going to be a NERF to just generically using War CES on any build, and this is a pretty big buff to people who are going to be using war cries for their intended purpose, which is to exert attacks. It's now going to reserve mana, and it is going to be able to use multiple war cries if you want to reserve all of that mana, and this should make war cry abilities a lot less annoying to use like exerted attacks will probably be a lot less annoying to use. However, will that make people actually play them? I don't know, maybe melee should be pretty good now so now.

we kind of already knew this, but um, determination and Grace have had their additional like added armor in evasion nerfed by half. This is being accounted for with the new bases that are significantly more powerful. It should be kind of a wash, if not a small buff, if you are using lots of the good bases. Elemental hit is now melee only, but of the spectrum is now going to be ranged only, and Elemental hit of the spectrum got buffed pretty well. I this league in 3.24 did play an elemental hit of the spectrum wand build, which should still be good and now is probably relatively buffed. As for how buffed it is, I'm not 100% certain, 'cause a lot of things have shifted around, but this is probably what I'm going to play for League start. I'm going to go some kind of like lightning Arrow into Elemental hit of the spectrum into wand Elemental hit of the spectrum, and then we'll see where we go from there. Flesh and stone notably no longer causes like

the blind or less damage or anything like that. It just simply makes it so that nearby enemies take more physical damage, and nearby enemies deal less damage to you. That's pretty much it. This scales with aura effect and such. Now I'm pretty sure, and it should be a pretty big buff for melee builds or builds that stay in melee range. Hatred got a gig Nerf, if we're going to be honest here. It no longer has any more cold damage on it, none zero. It does give a little bit more Fizz damage gained as extra cold damage, 39 instead of 25, but that doesn't make up for the Nerf that it's done here. Because previously, you would just take all of your physical damage, convert it into cold damage, the more damage would apply to that converted damage, and then you would also gain some of the physical damage gain it as extra cold damage, and it would also apply to that gain damage. Hatred is no longer just like the best in the game. It's still okay maybe, but you're probably going to potentially

choose something else instead of it. Now, and on top of that, uh, Herald of Ash no longer grants spell fire damage. It's a little weird 'cause Anger is kind of bad. And now there's no more Herald of Ash. So Firebase spell gems, I, I don't know what, or is you guys use anymore. Good luck now. Something that I was not expecting in any realm of possibility. I was not expecting Kinetic Blast to get a 15% attack speed base buff. And then also increases in reductions of spell damage apply to attack damage at 200% of their value. This is honestly pretty nuts. Like this is, this is insane. I, I don't know how I feel about this yet. I'm going to have to do some math on a couple of different builds, but Kinetic Blast is probably just ridiculous now. This is actually ridiculous. And then on top of that, Kinetic Bolt of Fragmentation also did get its effectiveness of Bas and added damage kind of drop back up to where it was before, I think. But it still doesn't

have the extra damage as spell damage so not as good as it once was but definitely a big buff here. notably lightning Arrow, uh, no longer has added lightning damage at all gem levels, but it does have more effectiveness of base and added damage. What I think that this is going to be is that this is going to be a NERF early, meaning that while you're leveling in the campaign and things like that, so definitely less damage then, but it might be either a wash or more damage significantly later on when you have like a better bow. That's what I'm thinking that this is. We'll have to see how the math maths out, but that's my gut instinct on what I'm seeing here. Now there's a couple other things in here that are interesting, but I want to try to keep this as short as I possibly can. However, I did just need to note here V Vortex just got gutted, dude. In particular, hit-based Vortex is what this seems like. I'm not exactly sure which build this is.

targeting but probably Vortex ignite um. I'm not super familiar with anybody doing any Vortex ignite builds recently. The last one I remember is like Rue from a couple leagues ago or something like that but going from 270 to 170, that's a lot of effectiveness of out of damage lost. I don't know who this affected. I just noticed that this was a huge discrepancy so yeah a little bit weird under support G balance. There's not a lot here however chance the bed has had its physical added damage removed so now it can support minions which means your minions can bleed if that matters. I'm not sure that it does increased duration is now more duration. This could be better or worse depending most of the time I think this is going to be better because more duration is simply going to be better than increased duration just depends on how many sources of each that you have. Inspiration is now going to have a less Mana cost instead of a reduced Mana cost most of the time this is worse when it.

comes to costs reduce ends up being better. I think, however, I'm not 100% certain here, but I think that this is a Nerf. We'll have to see. I'm not 100% certain of that, but I know there are some weird peculiarities when it comes to like less Mana cost versus reduced Mana cost. Now there are a ton of ascendancy changes here, so Berserker got a bunch of changes to its rage mechanic simply because rage is just being completely reworked. Most of this now affects the effect of rage instead of just giving you extra stats per rage. Just makes the rage more effective for you. And then Warbringer is making it so that war cries exert twice as many attacks. This just means you have to war cry less. I don't know how actually good this is, but it's sort of cool, I guess. Chieftain did get one interesting thing, which is going to be this C Sun's Roar. This makes it so that war cries have infinite power, just like the shield does.

so this is a new source of this meaning. You no longer have to use that Shield. Could open up a couple cool interesting builds. We'll have to see. Juggernaut did have unbreakable changed to be armor applies to chaos damage instead of armor applies to Elemental damage. This should be a buff for people using the Timeless Keystone most likely. And on top of that, now you are going to get elemental damage reduction per endurance charge, and endurance charges give you Elemental damage reduction. So overall I think this might be a buff for Juggernaut, but I'm not 100% certain. However, what is not a buff is what has happened to our boy, the champion. He lost five fortify. He's no longer stun immune, and he no longer has attack speed, armor, or evasion. Yeah, they gutted him pretty hard. I still think he's okay, but most of the time the reason that you chose Champion is because you were going like a ranged attack based build that wanted fortify. Now you get no

more of the attack speed you don't get the Army evasion you're not stun immune anymore, and you get less fortify. But uh, it only takes one point for the fortify, I guess, and banner skills no longer have reservation, so that doesn't matter at all. Uh, I don't know if you go Champion anymore, if I'm going to be honest with you. I'm not 100% certain those other nodes are okay, but if you can't make use of those other nodes, Champion's definitely not the choice anymore. Gladiator has been reworked pretty decently. The new Gladiator does seem better. Block seems like it's in a much, much, much better place. You can get more of it, and on top of this, uh, Gladiator has been made to work a little bit better with bleed. It's made to work a little bit better with the like new retaliate type stuff. Um, one major change that has happened here, we'll go ahead and look at this on the tree, is that the Gladiator now has Jagged techniques.

which gives you bleeding you inflict is aggravated. Previously, you would have to use something like uh, whatever the bow attack was, that made it so that enemies were treated as if they were moving because bleeding does much more damage while they're moving. Now, there is this new aggravated tag which makes it so that they deal damage as if they were moving, which is pretty massive. Now they have lost Challenger charges, keep that in mind. So this is more so a Nerf to like other ascendes that stole it but Challenger charges are gone. The new block stuff is actually pretty good, there's a lot of interesting stuff here. And then we've got weapon Master which gives you a bunch of stats depending on the kind of weapon that you're using. Realistically, you're only going to be taking this as like a fourth point if you want some of those specific nodes or if you're going Veron asra because you should be able to get all of those. So it finally happened boys after months and months and years and years, the Dead Eye.

has finally been nerfed. So, there have been some changes to the dead eye. Um, the dead eye does have a new ascendancy point, and that is going to be, if I can find it, here is avidity. I think is how you say this. Gives you more accuracy per frenzy charge. You gain a frenzy charge each second while you're moving, and plus one maximum frenzy charges. Will you take this over the other options? Almost surely no, because Gathering winds, while it has been nerfed, it's now 10% increase effect per gale force instead of 15. Gathering winds is really strong, far shot is really strong, endless munitions is really strong, and focal point is still insanely strong. I can see people taking avidity if they're particularly doing a frenzy charge stack build or if they are playing a dead eye but don't need projectiles. If you don't need projectiles, this node is actually pretty good. Plus one max frenzy, a source of frenzy charges no matter what you're doing, and more accuracy all

good stats. However, Barshot is now 30% more damage to targets at maximum range and no reduction in damage close up. So this has lost 30% more damage at range. That's pretty massive. However, you are now going to be doing full damage when you're up close to stuff. Well, not full damage, but you're not going to be doing less damage. So this is okay, but we'll see. Interesting. But um, Dead Eye finally caught an actual real Nerf, 5% effect on Tailwind and 30% more damage from Far Shot. If you're playing a projectile-based attack build, probably still going to be a Dead Eye most of the time though. All right, then. The next thing we're going to talk about is the Warden. This is the new ascendancy that replaces the Raider. So this is a Tenure and Elemental ailment-based ascendancy. So we've got three Tenure nodes over here. On the right, we have tinctures can apply to ranged weapons. We have you can have an additional tincture as well as tinctures.

will burn your Mana slower, and you'll also be able to retain the effect of the tincture after it's been deactivated. These are all kind of cool. Um, this one is probably one of the more interesting ones. However, if you're playing a ranged weapon build, uh, you're probably going to have to take this. We have to see how strong the tinctures are before I can really tell you whether or not this is good, but we'll see. On top of that, we do have bark skin back and, uh, lessons of the Season, which gives you some more like suppression and stuff for bark skin. And then we've got these Elemental ailment nodes. This basically makes this, you can massively stack shocks for more damage. This makes it so that you can stack smaller stacks of freeze, which are going to be called hoarfrost, and these allow you to build up towards a freeze. This will be particularly good against bosses. And then this makes it so that instead of igniting, you will be able to Scorch, and you can inflict an additional Scorch. And then this last note, Avatar of

the Wilds basically makes it so that if you're applying a bunch of different Elemental ailment effects, you can stack up this Unbound Fury and then essentially have like an elemental berserk that you will do occasionally and do a whole bunch more damage. You'll always freeze, shock, and ignite, and you should be able to have pretty good uptime on this if you're applying a bunch of different elements. Okay, so passive skill changes. One big change is that VPCT has been changed to life leech from melee. Damage is instant and cannot recover life other than leech. One thing to be super aware of with this change is that there are a couple items that provide VPCT on them, particularly the one is the PhD Shield. This, in my opinion, puts a pretty big hamper on any ranged PhD Shield builds, kind of like the one that I was playing this league. It makes it so that you can no longer recover life from the amulet, which that amulet has been nerfed. We'll talk about

that later. It makes it that you can only recover from Leech, and if you're playing a ranged build, you're not going to get the instant leech like you were before. So, this is overall a pretty massive Nerf to the uh PhD Shield, as well as a couple other particular things, but life Leech from melee damage being instant is pretty big for melee builds. If you are going to be leeching a lot, this is pretty good for that. Next is that versatile combatant now has a significantly less of a Nerf to your max chance. Versatile combatant is probably just really insanely good now. Negative 10% chance on maximum for Block attack damage and block spell damage is really good. There's a bunch of extra sources of attack block now. You should be able to take this pretty much always and get uh what 6565 pretty easily. On top of that, warlord's is now once again called to arms, and it makes it so that war cries don't affect you anymore. They just affect your allies, and they last 100%.

more so if you're playing like a build that has a bunch of allies, whatever those might be, you could take this if you don't want them to affect you anymore. Should be okay for that. Perfect Agony has also been pretty massively changed. It just makes it so that instead of scaling damage over time multiplier on an ailment-based build, you can just scale Critical Strike multiplier instead. Dead, and that will apply to your damage overtime multiplier. It still makes it so that critical strikes don't deal extra damage, but it makes it so that non-critical strikes cannot inflict ailments. So this could be pretty good for things like the Assassin or if you're trying to go bleed or things like that. I'm pretty sure because you won't have to have 100% crit chance on bleed, you just want to get the biggest bleed that you possibly can. There should be some interesting stuff that can be done with this. There's a ton of other smaller changes that you'll see here, like there is a bunch of them. Check to see if

anything affects your particular build too many to go over here. In this video, under unique item changes, Adorn has been massively nerfed both in availability and power. It now goes from 0 to 100% instead of 50 to 150%. This means not only is it going to be weaker, it's now going to be harder to get a worthwhile one. So, this is a pretty massive Nerf. Dancing Dervish can now use a weapon swap, so you can swap to a different set of weapons while the Dancing Dervishes are going. This is pretty cool. As I said previously, Defiance of Destiny is getting a pretty massive Nerf, 10 to 20% instead of 25 to 35%, and this no longer will work with the PHD Shield, unfortunately, but any other use of it, it's probably still pretty good. I wouldn't say there's any reason not to use it for the same circumstances as before. It's just not as oppressively strong as it was. There's a bunch of

other changes here, but most of them aren't that relevant to anything that I have to think about now. Item quality has been reworked. Um, most items are only able to be forced up to 20% quality now, regardless of if they are corrupted. Perfect fossils don't exist anymore. You're not going to be able to really go over 20% quality. However, 20% quality on weapons and armor is now a more multiplier instead of an increase, so it's significantly stronger, but you can't really get up to 30 now. Non-gem items can generate with a random quality up to 30. This is going to be super hard to get, but it can happen occasionally. And on top of that, most armor, evasion, and energy shield types have had more powerful bases added alongside this, so you should be able to get significantly more armor, evasion, and energy shield just in general. Another thing is that most sources of Fizz taken as Elemental chaos have been removed. The vast majority of them are gone. All the easy

ones like on the tree and things like that those are all gone. As for what unique still have them, um it seems like the chest pieces still have them as far as I can tell. And beyond that, it's like I think there's a chest piece eldrich implicit, but but most of the rest of them are gone. Like it's gone from the flask, uh it's gone from the Watcher's eye mods, it's gone from most places. And then lastly in the item changes, a ton of different items have had their just base attack speed and base crit significantly buffed. Uh wands are one particular big one in here that's going to be pretty big. There's a lot of changes to wands which should be pretty good. Next on the list is going to be monster balance. Essences now are going to take less damage instead of having more life whenever you basically buff them up. Bosses can now have reduced action speed up to 50%. This is a buff for freeze so particularly on that Warden that I was

talking about before we can get the sacks of hor Frost to give you a chance to freeze bosses for two seconds. This can get you up to that 50% action speed reduction, which is really really big for bosses. Making them move at half speed will make them significantly easier. Also, the uh meteor hits you when you use a flask now has a cool down. Thank goodness, it was very very annoying and it's apparently telegraphed better, so hopefully that's cool. Quest Rewards uh AA now gives 15% all res and that's it kraton now gives 8% movement speed Oak gives 40 maximum life and aromire gives one passive skill point the through sacred ground Quest now gives an additional passive skill point so you can essentially choose between one of these or one passive skill point. The choice seems to be a little bit better here most of the time. I think you're probably still just going to go for the passive skill point but I could see on a build that's stacking life you would

want life. I could see on a build that uses a lot of uniques and struggles for Elemental resistance is you could take this and if you don't care and you just want to zoom movement speed's always pretty good. Lastly, we've got some user interface changes. Act and Pinnacle bosses now have static life bars, which is pretty cool. These are a little big. I think they might reduce the size of them a little bit potentially in the future. We'll have to see. Reservation effects now persist through death. No more having to use your entire secondary skill bar for auras. They're just always going to turn back on immediately. And probably the biggest change in the entirety of this patch is that the range that you can pick up items when using a keyboard mouse has been increased, and it's been significantly increased. Some of the BIGGEST Changes EVER! - 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur Patch Notes Review

Big Ducks

The patch introduces new skills, Maven's chisels for map quality, and a new slot for stacked decks in the currency stash tab.

Melee skills have been buffed and totems removed, while banners and rage have been reworked for more powerful and temporary buffs.

Tinctures have been added as a melee-only mechanic with a draining Mana effect and a potential life reduction buff, and retaliation skills have replaced counterattacks, requiring being hit or blocked.

Additionally, the update includes a sixth map device slot and the return of Affliction as a random mechanic in tier 16 maps.

Path of Exile: Affliction League Mechanics and Map Drops

The Affliction League is introducing new mechanics, including the return of the Nameless Sear with unique items and the ability to scry a map for Divination card swaps.

Additionally, there will be a change in map drops, with monsters from all league mechanics and additional content now able to drop maps, along with a similar rule for scarabs, chisels, and Horizon orbs.

Tier 17 maps are also undergoing significant changes, with reduced life and damage for monsters, the ability to be modified with Vol orbs and chisels, and adjustments to their modifiers.

Furthermore, there will be a massive buff to the frequency of Valdo's drops.

Finally, Delirium and Ritual leagues are receiving improvements, such as shorter simulacrums with more frequent unique item drops and the introduction of Wildwood corpses as new rewards from Ritual.

Back to Basics has been removed, impacting gameplay and loot acquisition.

Monster increased item Rarity and quantity have been adjusted to prevent abuse of League mechanics.

Player quantity on gear has been eliminated, shifting the focus from stacking loot bonuses to strengthening the character.

Additionally, there are significant changes to corpse mechanics, endurance charges, and skill gem abilities, impacting gameplay and build strategies.

These changes are aimed at balancing the game and preventing exploitation of certain mechanics.

Changes to Weapon Requirements and Skill Effectiveness in Path of Exile

Many hybrid melee and range abilities in Path of Exile have had their weapon requirements split, affecting skills like Frenzy, Onslaught, and Elemental Hit.

Popular leveling skills have been nerfed at a low level, while some have been buffed, and Berserk has been significantly changed, making it less useful for most players.

The update also includes buffs to some abilities, but not as much for melee skills, along with a significant nerf to Hatred, and changes to Flesh and Stone's functionality.

Path of Exile: Unexpected Skill and Ascendancy Changes

Herald of Ash no longer grants spell fire damage, impacting Firebase spell gems.

Kinetic Blast received a significant 15% attack speed buff and now allows reductions of spell damage to apply to attack damage at 200% of their value.

Lightning Arrow no longer has added lightning damage at all gem levels, potentially causing a nerf in the early game.

Vortex, especially hit-based Vortex, has been heavily nerfed, losing a lot of effectiveness of damage.

The Champion ascendancy has been significantly gutted, losing fortify, stun immunity, and various other bonuses, impacting its viability for ranged attack-based builds.

Changes to Ascendancy Classes in Path of Exile

The Champion class has been weakened, making it a less favorable choice, while the Gladiator class has been significantly improved, especially in terms of blocking and bleed effects.

The Deadeye class has finally been nerfed, with adjustments to its ascendancy points, but it will still be a popular choice for projectile-based attack builds.

The new Warden ascendancy, replacing the Raider, is focused on tenure and elemental ailments, offering interesting nodes for ranged weapon builds and additional effects for stacking shocks, freeze, and scorch.

Changes to Passive Skills and Unique Items in Path of Exile

The Unbound Fury in The Wilds now allows stacking elemental ailment effects for occasional elemental berserk and increased damage.

The change from VPCT to life leech from melee has a major impact on ranged PhD Shield builds, while also significantly benefiting melee builds.

Versatile Combatant now has a less significant nerf to max chance, making it exceptionally good, especially with the added sources of attack block.

Perfect Agony has been massively changed to scale Critical Strike multiplier instead of damage over time multiplier, offering new possibilities for certain builds.

The unique item Adorn has been heavily nerfed in availability and power, while Dancing Dervish can now use a weapon swap, providing more flexibility.
