The second approach to suffering and how humans deal with suffering is like, hey, let's get stronger. Life is going to be hard, and instead of trying to control nature and control fortune and misfortune and control all these tragedies and hardships that are afflicted upon us, let's affirm that as one of the most necessary and important parts of life, and let's grow strong through it. Instead of avoiding heartbreak, let's break our hearts valiantly and become more deeper.

And so many of these worldviews are denying life as it is, they're denying suffering, and they're denying power, they're denying the Earth. And Nietzsche is like, No, let's stop denying the Earth, and let's be like the ancient Greeks in affirm.
