Apple is planning its smallest Mac desktop computer ever as part of the first revamp to the Mac Mini in nearly 15 years. Apple plans to roll out the new Mini later this year and is going to offer versions with both M4 and M4 Pro chip configurations. Apple's aiming to also release a new iMac with the M4, as well as updated versions of the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros later this year with the new processors. The changes will extend into next year, with Apple planning a new version of the MacBook Air with the M4 for next spring and also new versions of the Mac Pro Desktop and Mac Studio desktop from the middle of next year with high-end versions of the M4 chip. The M4 is Apple's latest processor that launched in the iPad Pro in May and includes new A.I. technologies to help support Apple intelligence. I Mark Gurman. This is power on.
