In order to understand White Rose's machine, we need to understand White Rose herself and all of her actions around her plant. I am, and I don't believe in accidents. And a bit of Mr. Robot's timeline, a bit please, follow me on this ride.

It shouldn't take too much time, no pun intended. Episode 1 starts in 2015. The show's focused mainly on a guy named Elliot trying to hack E Corp. You know, they want to erase all the digital records of deaths, the biggest incident in distribution history.

Yeah, you guys already know. So, they team up with a terrorist hacker group, the Dark Army. Dark Army, why man? I got no code. They hack for anyone, and their leader, White Rose, has time. I don't know why. We realize that there's more to Angela's mom and Elliot's death.

Both work for E Corp, specifically in the Washington Township power plant. They both got leukemia and died shortly after they were let go, fired from the company. And the entire thing was covered up. In died of flashback scenes, both parents seemed to be okay with this fact, like they

accepted their fate. In fact, their lack of motivation to do anything to fight that, it's the thing that fuels Elliot's rage and Angela's stubbornness. But I'm getting ahead of myself. The first time Elliot meets White Rose, she allows only 3 minutes of her time to

le. Every beep marks a minute in season one and early season two. It's revealed that White Rose is also Zhang, the Chinese Minister of State Security at that time. The FBI travels to China to investigate the 5/9 hacks and Zhang hosts

a party in his house where Dom finds this in this episode we realize just how obsessed she is with time, literally collecting clocks, but also she seems to be interested in the possibility of other realities. Have you ever wondered how the world would look if the 5/9 Hackney

and some believe there are alternate realities playing out that very scenario, but other lives that were leading the contemplation moves me very deeply. We'll get to this in a moment. Well, she happens to be the secret owner of the Washington Township plant. Angela, while both working for Eco and working

on the class-action lawsuit against a Corp. Yeah, don't ask. Discovers this in every version of the settlement drive for the Washington Township suit, there is one small point that your team wouldn't agree on: the third-party company must perform inspections on the Washington Township plant. In other words,

they are ready to do everything but letting Outsiders peek into what really happens inside the plan. Remember when I mentioned in my last video that throughout the entire show there has been a chess game between Price and White. One of Price's moves was to

use the plant against Kerr. I'm sorry to say the Washington Township plant will be taken over by the federal government and needed that bailout money. No longer happy. What do I need now? Okay, but what we learn from all of this is just how important this plant is to her. White

Rose pulls her strings under the table and off-camera and pushes China into loaning equip 2 trillion dollars. Two trillion dollars! She does this to save her plant of course, but also for quid pro quo reasons. She wants the UN to annex the Congo, something that Price

gets done, she wants to move her project there for reasons unknown. Angela tries to snitch to the NRC, but she gets intercepted by a dark army operative. White Rose has minions all over the world, of course she has one there as well, and she has proxy five. So Angela

leaves, but it's too late. White Rose decides to kidnap Angela and put her into this room. This room marks a before and after in Angela's story arc. She's not the same after that meeting. For one, a little blonde girl shows up and starts asking questions. Yes, who

fastened the burger, looks very similar to Angela, suspiciously similar to younger Angela. They play some weird-ass BuzzFeed quiz on this Commodore 64 and then a text adventure on the phone. Are standing in the dark room and can't see anything after this White Rose shows

up. She gives Angela 28 minutes, way more time than earlier, but we only see seven minutes from that meeting. While Rose says it's no coincidence that you and Mr. Alderson became who you are after what happened with the Washington Township plan. If I told you that your

mother and Elliot's father died for a reason, that they gave their lives to take humanity to the next level. I am going to prove to you why you need to drop this mission. We assume she gets indoctrinated by White Rose, but we don't know how exactly that's just not

the real world. Well, I guess it all depends on what your definition... Oh, we fade to black and Angela seems to be a completely different person. The next time we see her, her goals have changed. Now she works for the dark army. In her house, she covers the faces of the people

and photographs similar to what we saw outside, well we'll call it the indoctrination room, and she wants the tape of the cyber bombings from season three. Like a crazy person in season three, we take a peep inside the plan, which looks like a Hadron Collider.

According to my extensive Wikipedia research, it's just a particle accelerator. Yes, just a particle accelerator. I'm not a scientist, but its purpose tends to be research oriented, focused on solving some of the mysteries of the universe, like dark matter, other dimensions. Dimensions us in 3D, 4D, and

anything beyond that, not necessarily sci-fi [ __ ] dimensions us in half-life or something like that. But I'm being a party pooper because even what the scientists say suggests sci-fi. Everything we see and do is unfolding simultaneously in a parallel universe. How many copies of

ourselves exist and might our mental states be conjoined for better or worse? In season four, we know a bit more about the project. The Machine, White Roses rise to power, started after the fall of the Berlin Wall. She made all the right moves to position herself as one of the most

powerful figures in politics. She also created the Dais group to pretty much hurt the rest of the population into submission with wars and media and [ __ ] Facebook. Yet, all of that was for her project. That was always her end goal. And in this weekend's episode, we know a

bit more of the nature of the project. It's not just a Hadron Collider, but the LHC, very Large Hadron Collider. Yeah, that's what it stands for. I'm not making this up. It's a hypothetical machine, our world doesn't hold one of these because

of its extensive requirements both in power and time but in Mr. Robot's world, the most powerful person in the world backed by a group of the richest, most powerful men on earth, in that world it's possible to have it all. So Elliot and Darlene managed to steal all the money

from the Dark Army and Whiterose, yet it looks like they don't care too much. I mean, of course, Whiterose was pissed, but according to  'Curving,' which made a comeback in the show during his new book, it looks like they moved to bigger

things. So what is the project about? The show has, of course, referenced a lot of movies from 'The Matrix' to pop fiction. I think I'm very [ __ ] far from okay. 'Fight Club' is the obvious reference with the multiple personalities, but one movie that gets referenced a lot is 'Back to the

Future.' Elliot's favorite movie is a flux capacitor, or are you happy to see me? There's also this scene in season two's finale after the credits, which is a reference to 'Primer,' a mindfuck of a movie about time travel. Those references combined with season two's cryptic

nature and scenes that channel 'Twin Peaks' energy lead to all sorts of crazy theories. Theories that I tend to make fun of in this channel. Sorry. I remember reading about how Elliot's real father was Tyrell, and earlier, us a baby was sent back in

time for who knows what reason. I mean, what's the point of sending a baby back in time, guys? For real, but yeah, theory number one would be time travel. Even though the show specifically mentions the paradox of time travel, if I could go back in time, change everything

that happened to you, then I wouldn't be me and I wouldn't have you. White Rose's purpose will be to save her lover, the one that killed himself and marked her for life. You know, we as humans are bound by time. Even if you're rich, what's the

point of having entire countries and armies if time is gonna kill you anyways? True power will be the ability to control time or to hack time. How about the time machine work though? The time machine in Primer doesn't work like in other movies. You can go back to the 1500s

for instance, because there was no time machine in the 1500s. You can only go back to a moment where the machine was there and the machine was turned on. In that movie, if I remember correctly, their heavy use of the time machine affects them. They get radiation and they

start bleeding it and whatnot. You know who else got radiation? Angela's mom and Elliot's dad. So what if they were around a running time travel machine? What if they turn it now and find a way to connect both timelines? I probably sound like this right now. Theory number two.

Remember one right? Rose said this: Some believe there are alternate realities playing out that very scenario. You could read this as a her wanted to travel to other dimensions. One word, she can be herself and be with her lover, for instance. But she also seems to be

referencing our world, in our reality. The 5/9 hack never happened, E Corp doesn't exist, you get the point. I always read this as the show going meta, but what the scientist says in that scene makes me wonder what happens in our world, our

reality influences what happens in the show, and the show's reflection of our modern fears as a society. There's also that little detail, you know, the main protagonist of the show talking to us, the audience. He even calls us "our friend." For a show that's

more or less grounded in reality, why is one or two of the characters talking to us? It could be a simple fourth wall break, but Sam is a sneaky [ __ ] - he might put a twist on the entire character narrating the story. It's never

about the destination, it's about the journey. What if the destination is you? What if it's always you? There's so many questions, and there's like three episodes left for the entire season and series to be over. This video might be completely pointless in a week or two

when the entire machine turns out to be just a MacGuffin to drive the show forward. I hope that's the case. Or when all those crazy fan theories you guys write in the comment section turn to life. I just wonder if the answers will be satisfying. That's all, even though the

show feels like it knew where it was going from the start, I find myself skeptical. I love this show too much for it to end in some crazy stuff. Maybe we feel earned once the finale hits, or maybe it's nothing and it was all Sam's milk trolling. Anyways, thank
