According to the caller, this employee had been taking significant amounts of makeup products and other items from her workplace. The stolen goods amounted to thousands of dollars, indicating a serious breach of trust and potential criminal activity. I don't really have closer. What's here? Upon arriving at the scene, the officer discovered that the cashier involved would steal hundreds of dollars worth of makeup items just before ending her shift. This pattern of behavior indicated a systematic approach to theft, where the cashier exploited her position to remove valuable merchandise discreetly. 20-year-old female that um um she's been

here a month and she um has taken just you know about $1,000 worth of merchandise one handling this. I'll have her down here in just a second. So here's her statement, here's the evidence, and she'll be able to talk you through anything if just give me one second. Be down here in like a minute. All right, got it. I just gave high-level overw um what give me the whole picture. What's what's what's happen. So she's only been here for 30 days. Okay, we've only been able to prove a th000 something she admitted mhm. This adds up to $800 something dollar uh. There is some on the third. I haven't printed any of those just yet. I'm uh I write tickets. I don't know anything about this. No, the CCTV footage revealed that the cashier employed a tactic to avoid suspicion by being flirtatious with the loss prevention officer. This behavior allowed her to exit the store with stolen items unnoticed. Over time, her theft escalated to larger and more valuable items such as an air fryer and other household goods. Basically, what she does is she selects a bunch of like makeup, clothes, food, anything she needs, MH, and then she'll go grab bags, put all the merch in the bags, and then walks out with it. Got it. They saying the like every day is the fourth, the day that you like first saw it, and then you like went back on the third and saw the fourth was the day that we were actually going to apprehend her as an external subject until we realized she was one of ours. Okay, and because curiosity kills the cat, why wait? Why wait till now? Um, so I'm at the leader of the store. He went on vacation. She called out for most of her

shifts after. So, we were going to pull her on Tuesday, but she called out. And then she called out yesterday. But we target for internals. You have to get three at least incidents to show a pattern. So, for you guys to stop an employee, they have to do it three times at least enough to show a pattern. So, let's just say this now. I'm just asking a question hypothetically. If these didn't happen and it was just this, what would you guys do with just this? It would be up to my higher-up HR. I would try to decide what to do with it. Yes, like my level is like here. The one you saw running in, he's my boss. I got you. I got you. Okay. Um, but the person that makes that decision was out of town or something on vacation. Yeah. So, like the actual leader of this office isn't here. So, we were able to get all this. So, on the fifth, she's in a different room down there. They're doing her termination paperwork or something like that. Oh, she

And then I believe that uh de the aps here was able to find a couple other the she IED too as well. Well, this this and this add up like 808 or something like that charges right, but it doesn't match here because of this this sale. So regular price $74 for 18 has NYX Ninja food blender and a facial steamer on it. Yeah, every single one has been close to like 220 now again. Oh, is that a blender? Is

Um, the only thing that was different that we were trying to change the price was the underwear from what they told me. Okay, so all underwear, yeah, and bras. She has bras, so she bought one, one of these, one of these, one of these, one of these, one of these. her theft, telling the loss prevention officer that she took the items because she was starting fresh after moving into her first apartment. This excuse was likely an attempt to elicit sympathy and rationalize her actions despite the clear evidence of her theft. No, we rather not in, I say so. We're all in one place. After reviewing all the evidence, including the CCTV footage and the information gathered, the officer decided to arrest the cashier. She placed her in handcuffs, taking this step to ensure the suspect was detained and to proceed with formal legal actions. Following the arrest, the police collected additional information and

took the suspect's fingerprints at the scene. They then transported her to the police station for further investigation. He said they found these items here in the bag and like scanned them all and she made it out with all of them. M.I. was adopted so I don't really have one like closer. I the suspect was charged with Grand Theft. Court records revealed that a loss prevention officer had assisted her in stealing the items, which allowed her to bypass store checkpoints. As a result, the officer was

dismissed from his position, and the suspect was ordered to pay over $1,000 in restitution to Target.
