First of all, this is not a competition video. I know I put "verses" in the title, but this isn't about who plays it better

or worse, or any of that crap. I don't even know this song very well; I'm just very intrigued to see how they both play

it. Let's [Music] go. Starting off strong. [Music] [Music] How do you count

that? We are, man. That's got to be tough. [Music] Nice! It sounds like he's doing it

right. Again, I don't know the [Music] song. We Are. [Music] Getting the odd times, of course. He... what is [inaudible] mic?

[Music] [Applause] [Music] Oh yeah! [Music] Nice! Oh, let's go!

[Music] The look on his face! He's like, "[inaudible] Yeah, I nailed that!"

[Music] [Applause] Part... he's counting. Look at his mouth! [Music] Wow!

Impressive! I'd say he's nailing it for the most part. What do you think? [Music]

Yeah, how the [inaudible] do you count [Music] this? Nailed [Music] it!

[Music] Dream. Wake up. Remember we are born out one breath, one word. I can't even bob my head

in [Applause] time. Here we go! [Music] Double bass in [Music] there!

[Music] [Applause] Tasty! What's next, huh? What comes next? [Music]

Bye bye, back back. [Music] I like [Music] that. Is that the beat? Danny's place here. I

guess we'll find out soon enough. I really like that, though. Those lower toms sound so [Music]

Good. [Music] Nice! What a professional dude! It's the one word that comes to mind watching this.

Professional. [Music] Mmm, groovy! Hey, this part, I can bob my head to. [Music] Starting to establish the

buildup. What I assume is a buildup. I don't know what happens next in the song. [Music]

Double bass. I'm happy with [Music] that. Yes! [Music] He's feeling it now, baby! I think I'm feeling it now

too! What? What did he do? Did he break something? [Music] How did he memorize all of this in only

3 [Music] [Applause] hours? Like, he's still hesitating here and there, but still, dude, holy

cow! I'd probably be only 10% through the song in that amount of time.

[Music] One out of one breath, one word, all one sp- I for wonder. [Music]

[Music] Oh yes! Hit those high harmonics, baby! [Music] [Applause] [Music]

Is this like the end of the song, or maybe we're only halfway [Music] through? Think that was

[Music] it. You [Music] nailed it, Mikey! Let's stand back and give the

bow. That was absolutely phenomenal! Now let's get right into Danny's call, but first, it's time for a mental health

the center. That's different. I like it. [Music] I like how high he's got his snare tuned

as well. Nice and [Music] point. Go around one for nail. Still can't bop my head in

time. One day, maybe. Beyond [Music] this will and wonder about [Music] sort of getting

[Music] it. No, I suck. Sun coming. [Music] I'd say for the most part, so far, poroi

did a great [Music] [Applause] job. Yum. [Music]

And is that a roto-tom he's got right in front of him, too? Like right in front of

the snare? I think that's a roto-tom. Well, well [Music] well. Time signature: 22 over

37 [Music] Child up now [Music] Child. Every time I try to count it, it spirals... you, Samus, don't even try.

[Music] Lead hand on the pad now. Wow! Up one, break one word... what [Music] Sun... hold on, is that a... is that the

General Electric logo on his jersey? Is Danny Kreye sponsored by General Electric? [Music] Look how sweaty his arm is!

[Music] Glistening. 2, 3, 4. This part is actually in 4 [Music].

Four, 3, 4, 1. So he's doing like triplet polyrhythms: 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, 1, 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, 1,

2, 3. Three over four, whatever you call that. So [Music] cool. Guess this is the sexy part of the

song, huh? [Music] This is so cool, dude! Squeal! [Music] I love how much sustain his drums

have. All right, this sounds like the buildup. I'm going to... I'm going to be quiet. [Music]

Same pattern the whole time; he's just switching up which drums he's hitting. I [Music]

guess. Sounds cooler as it keeps going, gets a little faster. [Music] Double bass [Music] going! Look at his face!

Dude, he's so into it! [Music] Oh yeah! Yeah! Port noise buildup was really good, too. Must

[Music] say there's the [Music] energy! Wake up! Nice! Ooh! Felt beaters! [Music]

[Applause] [Music] Did we get one more chorus? There it is! If you'd even call that the chorus.

[Music] [Applause] [Music] That off-time fill! Ooh! Throwing some six-stroke rolls in

there, too. I think this guy knows his rudiments, huh? This guy [Music] might have to start listening to a

a little bit more tools now, huh? I say that every [__ ] reaction video I watch. Something I'm like, oh, I'm going to have

to listen to more of that. I like it. Yeah, one song, two incredible drummers. Don't forget to leave a comment below,
