I might not get to them all because there are simply so many. And about both the terms 'pet' and 'companion animal' in Korean, let's clarify from the start. You can use either, in my opinion, and I don't think 'pet' in Korean is a bad term.

The word 'wan' in 'aewan dongmul' means 'to play together' in Korean, so it's actually all about loving and playing with the animal.

You can use both the terms 'companion animal' or 'pet' in Korean, but if the existing term isn't problematic, why force a change, you know? So, I'm going to stick with the term 'pet' today.

But say if you love them so much that you want to call them a companion animal, that's honestly fine with me too.
