As I mentioned in my previous video, I started this lecture with the desire to help more people achieve a harmonious balance between work and passion by cultivating small social networking leaders. Over the past year, I have taught nearly a thousand students, spreading the word about this incredible blue ocean business. However, I have noticed that many of you still seem unsure and keep asking the same questions repeatedly. So, I have prepared something for you. I will explain the entire process of how I started and how I arrived at this point. I want to share the most realistic and effective strategies that allowed me to attract 7,000 participants and easily reach a monthly income of a thousand.

I will tell you about a fast track to success. Those who have not yet started their business might think it is a distant dream, but overall, you should try to envision the bigger picture and think, This is how it will flow in the future. Initially, I started with a reading group in someone else's space without any capital, and now I am running events in various locations in Seoul, including two branches in Yeongdeungpo and Hongdae, as well as at locations like Mullaeh and Konkuk University. I have organized small gatherings with as few as eight people, up to large-scale meetings with as many as 300 attendees. As a result, we have grown into a meeting brand that has hosted over 7,000 guests cumulatively. Personally, I believe we are the number one in the meeting market. I don't think anyone else opens events like we do on such a scale, week in and week out. Therefore, if you remember the process I am sharing today and apply it to your own meeting business, you will face no failures and no risks.

Starting in this way, you will be able to expand into the version of myself that you see now. I will explain step by step how this is possible, so I hope you will watch today's video until the end. You all know me, right? I'm the person who keeps shouting about executing small, fast, and a lot. I truly, truly dislike being at a disadvantage. Therefore, I approach business with a method that is realistic and involves minimal risk. I started my business when I was in college, without any knowledge. How could I succeed right away? Failure is a given, but I don't view it as failure; rather, I see it as experience. However, as I mentioned, I am quite cautious, so I don't want to encounter failures that could significantly hinder my progress when things don't go well. I know my own capabilities.

Failures can happen on a scale that can occur quickly. I have operated two online brands and two offline cafes and wine bars so far. Each brand has seen minimum sales of 2,000 won and maximum sales of 7,000 won. For reference, I'm only mentioning the ones that were somewhat successful; it was a mix of success and failure. The online brands I started had initial investments around 100,000 won, while the offline ones received nearly 100 million won in funding, with my own investment being around 10 million won. It was a two-story building with a wine bar and cafe, close to 100 pyeong in size. Do you have an idea of what that feels like? I executed things quickly and in large quantities. I applied this same approach to the social gathering business. That's my business style. Now, let’s assume that you are finally starting a social gathering business, and you’re not an influencer.

I have never been out in the world; I am an extremely ordinary person. So, how should I start? First, I need to gather the people who will participate in the meeting. Where should I post the information? On a blog, Instagram, an open KakaoTalk room, or our company website? I will look for my own space. However, I shouldn't just post aimlessly; I need to have some level of preparation in place. I need to consider the design and naming, and I will probably go around following blogs or Instagram accounts. I also need to build up content. 

Now, what is the risk here? It’s the time and energy that I pour in, which is essentially my labor cost. If the meeting item hasn’t been validated yet, pouring resources into it could be a waste of time. The preparations made to create a cohesive presentation might end up being useless. If I set things up and later have to change everything, what will happen? It will be completely...

useless, that clutter. And the sadder part is, when will it succeed? How should I do it? After all the hard work of designing and planning, how will people discover my hidden gathering? The first step we will take is to start right on the platform. When we talk about platforms, there are various options like Munto, Frip, Somssidang, and small gatherings, among others. Initially, I received a proposal from a reading group platform to host a business-related reading group. Although it was my first gathering, I was confident in that area, so I was able to start right away. This is, in a word, without capital. At that time, what I did was only plan and conduct the gathering. Since I was running both online and offline businesses, everyone around me was also in business. So,

Rather, I wanted to meet people who share similar values to mine rather than focusing on the business side of things. So, I ended up planning a wine gathering on my own. However, since I have experience in creating and growing a brand, I know how much effort is required to establish a brand and make it recognizable to consumers. As I mentioned, the gathering wasn't initially my main focus; I didn't start it with a serious intent. I began it purely for fun, so I didn't want to invest too much effort into it, especially since there was no guarantee that it would succeed right away. From my perspective, there was no need to push for that. Therefore, I decided to utilize a gathering platform. Ask people around you if they have heard of social gatherings. They might barely know what it is. When I started the social gathering business last year,

I first encountered the concept of a Munto preview. I learned about this idea of people meeting and interacting based on shared interests and preferences just last year. If I were to start this on my own platform, it wouldn't be easy to gather people, especially since the general public hasn't fully grasped the concept of socializing in this way. Many are unaware of it, having never heard of it before, which leads to fear and a negative perception. Although it could be a whole new world if we try it, rather than trying to change the perception of those who are hesitant from the beginning, let's target those who are already somewhat familiar with gatherings and are more social. Whether this will work or not is uncertain, but let's not exhaust ourselves right from the start. Many people think that a 20% commission is quite high. However, think about it: there is still no reputation or popularity.

As an ordinary person rather than an influencer, I have witnessed firsthand the benefits of the platform. I honestly don't think a 20% commission is excessively high. Most platforms spend astronomical amounts on advertising and marketing. I believe that early-stage platforms are primarily sustaining themselves through investment rather than making immediate profits. Therefore, don't stress too much about the 20%. Instead, use it as motivation to quickly exit the platform and create your own community. Think of it as marketing costs of about 20% at the beginning. Once again, I am sharing realistic ways to achieve success quickly with minimal capital. I am explaining the processes I have personally experienced, so if I had an abundance of money...

You don't have to succeed perfectly. This realization doesn't resonate with me. If you feel the same way, you can move on. Next, what we need to do is to understand that people are generally not well-informed on the platform. Rather than doing things alone, you should engage in personal or group branding. For your information, personal branding is much faster than growing a group. It’s about defining people before products. 

When we first start, how do we feel? We often wander without clearly identifying our items. Here, we explore within the platform by having gatherings and gaining experiences to find the right group item for ourselves. I also took about a month to find the item Silicon Party in the U.S. by trying various gatherings like wine meetings, photo meetings, hip-hop gatherings, and so on. Ultimately, I found the U.S. Silicon Party.

The reason I was able to find what I was looking for was by experiencing and testing whether this item suits me or not. You won’t know until you try it. You need to experiment in small, quick, and numerous attempts. Now that I've found the item, it's time to move forward. In that process, I will be building my own channel while gradually preparing to step away from the platform. I will discuss detailed methods for creating loyal customers in the next video. Once I have built my own community, I need to start directing attention to it. When I say own channel, I mean platforms like Instagram, blogs, and company pages; there are various methods. If you initially relied 100% on the platform, you should think of gradually decreasing that ratio. Therefore, the ultimate goal is to increase the ratio of your own business compared to the platform to 100%.

You can do it. The ant hole gathering brand that I operate started in the same way. The essence of a social gathering business is people. Therefore, no matter how perfect the item I create is, if the response from people is lukewarm, you can consider the time you spent planning to be meaningless. You have to pivot again. Ultimately, what's important is that even if I created a gathering based on a topic I like, I need to improve its completeness through continuous feedback. Now, let me summarize for you.
