this water must be at least two feet high, maybe even like two and a half, three feet in some places. There's nowhere for the water to go. There a car seriously attempting to drive through this. They're gonna get stuck, I know it. Why they even trying it? Well, the guy didn't get stuck, but I'm pretty sure he's got water damage in his car now. from a palm tree that just blew over. Not too many cars are out on the road right now. There's like tree debris over here too. I'm surprised that metro mover is still running. I guess the winds aren't that sustained that they could still do it. We got some big ponding over here and a big one over here. So yesterday when I went to Miami Beach to get ahead of the storm to do some errands. When I approached the entrance ran to the MacArthur Causeway. It was all flooded seeing as that how it rained all through the night and into the morning and still raining. I would expect that area is going to be even worse and during that time when I went it was barely even a rain. So you add on the extra water and it'll probably be so hazardous over there. So I think around the expressways and the entrance ramps that's where we're going to see a lot of flooding. I saw a picture and a video from the city of Miami.

on the sidewalk so [Applause] [Applause]. I keep hearing a uh siren or something one if it's related to uh emergency services or a warning signal something. I just saw flashing lights looks like the police are going that way towards the Miami World Center area [Applause]. Here's the FTX arena where the Miami Heat plate [Applause]. Looks like there's someone someone's front bumper in the middle of the street there. I hope there were no uh traffic crashes or fatalities because of the storm flood it over here. All right I see a lot of emergency lights up there probably like two cop cars maybe or three. That's in the general vicinity of the MacArthur Causeway like I said earlier that entrance ramp was flooded just yesterday morning when the storm didn't even uh intensify yet. So they probably closed off the entrance ramp so it's a good-sized puddle over there at Northeast 8th Street. Yeah there's a

two cop cars blocking any more cars from going north. We've got to check that out for sure. It's actually good I'm doing this too because now I know in the future which streets are prone to flooding and which aren't. Yep, uh, that truck is not going to be able to proceed. They just turned around. I see a tow truck taking a car away. Oh boy, I definitely know it's up here. Look at all these cars now. They're going to be forced to turn around too or at least make a left turn. Wow, there's actually a student driver here. They're sure driving in a uh, ideal scenario for good driving or good driving skills. You'd really be a good driver if you can drive through this weather. Oh my gosh, I can see it already. There's like tons and tons of water there. [Music] My shoes are already wet so I think I'll be okay. This is insane right now and I'm not even there yet. Tow truck, there's new water coming down here.

Yep, Miami Beach became the Miami swimming pool. Look at that, those are the traffic barrels. They're all the way up to the top almost. Is their car seriously attempting to drive through this? So, the tropical storm Alex, or what was supposed to be tropical storm Alex, rolled through, at least the most of it rolled through, and I'm gonna show you the aftermath of what happened here in downtown Miami. There's flooding all over the place, and there's still a flash flood warning going on. The temperature right now is 77 Fahrenheit, 25 Celsius. Look at this, here's Biscayne Boulevard. It became the Biscayne swimming pool for the great Biscayne Lake. Oh my goodness, I can't even cross the street here without getting my foot in the water unless I go over here. But yeah, from my understanding, they were going to change the storm to tropical storm Alex if the winds reached a certain speed, but it didn't even have to be a tropical storm to cause all this craziness. There's a leaf.

where they were showing a street that had like a foot or two feet of water, and they had cars stuck in it. So far, I don't really notice too much flooding in this section. Now, where do I really notice it? On the other side, it seems like the sewer system here isn't too bad. That one may have some issues later on, though, if the leaves build up and there's debris, but still draining the water. Now, over here, look at this. The water is just accumulating here. There's a large puddle across the street, and it's flowing even into the parking lot there. We should definitely go check it out. Yup, water all along here. Insane. I think I'll cross now. I thought I saw a car coming. That's why I turned around. But yeah, look at this. This isn't... This is crazy. Like, the entire parking lot, for at least like a quarter of it, is flooded. Oh, here's someone that's going to drive through the water. [Applause] Up, we have a few leaves and branches.

As we speak, another tow truck is coming through. Oh my goodness, oh my goodness. So, uh, even me, I'm not gonna be able to go over there without getting my feet wet. So, I'm gonna go around here and, uh, go into the middle of the street. This is a better option. There's another tow truck taking a car out. Yep, Miami Beach became the Miami swimming pool. Oh my gosh, new screws on site. Two words can't even begin to describe what it's like here. Just more water is coming at me. Okay, I knew it was going to be bad here, but I didn't think it was going to be this bad. You can't drive anything through here, even big trucks. There's another car stuck over there too. Yeah, this is insane flooding for real. And to think I knew this area was going to be bad just from yesterday. I'm surprised the water is not coming over this curb. Look at that, those are the traffic barrels that are all the way up to the top almost. And there's a car there.
