today on downhill desire, it's the first ride on my brand new Oria Wild H30, a bike I'm testing it on greater trails, off-piece trails, yep I'm through it mate, and steep trails. But as usual, there's a few mishaps along the way, no I'm in the mud. So here I am for my first ride on my new e-bike. It's all be a wild if you haven't seen my last video from the other day, I'll put a link in the description so you can see what I'm riding. So it's a nice sunny day, there a few of us out today. I'm just going to chill and see what it's like and see if I can get it set up. Let's go find the boys. Right, I found the boys. Uh, we've got only Dan MTV on his specialized Cano SL, Adam as usual on his High bike with his super Spanky forks and shocks, and Liam's over there. You have seen Liam in my videos about 2 years ago. He's been

off a mountain bike while he has a kid. Basically, he came back right, how let's gone see in about 20 minutes. Where is it? I don't know where I'm going. See you later, see right. So I'm going to have a go first, first go on the bike. So I'm just going to take me time a little bit, get uh, get myself positioned. I've got no idea what the suspension is going to be like. I mean it feels nice. Oh yeah, the forks a bit uh, not great. The fork, like oh God, it's not good at all. Back seems all right if I'm being honest, and the bike does seem like I'm nicely balanced on it, so that's a good thing. I don't know the Li's here mate. It's SW to fly very rooty this. I've only ever done this once. I don't know where I'm going. Oh, I've taken a wrong turn near he made it all the way down. Feels not too bad, but like I say, the fork is definitely given us a bit of

balance not a lot of adjustment in it. Yeah, who are uh where they going? I'm here m a there's definitely some horrible feelings through this Fork like it's twanging like mad. Oh, I didn't see that but Adam's bike big route sticking out and just following Adam's lines here. Adam's first ride since he's uh since he hurt his shoulder a few weeks ago so he's just easing himself into it. You are was a I can see how this bike going to be nice once it's suspension's a bit better but like I say I mean it is running really bottom of the range suspension which uh definitely twangs a bit on the [Music] roots all right that was [Applause] that I was probably like sitting on the seat just hopping over stuff and just find getting carried away kind when it's dry like that you can get the PA out keep cranking this feel I feel like I'm nicely balanced on this but the forks definitely very. I don't know if I could

maybe adjust the rebound on it a little bit down. Feel very sort of soft but twangy. Like soft but maybe's maybe's. You got the right. I got the right. Doing the air pressure yesterday. So your rebound down right. If it's quite harsh, it could be that. Let's get the where's the next Trail. And I'll I'll turn it over and have it. See if I can knock it down a click right. Get on and done go then. Ready down. Seat down first. Oh [ __ ]. He seat's plucked. Whoa whoa whoa whoa. W me seat's G up. I can't get it down. Watch out. That's what happens when you're not used to a bike. I hit the wrong thing and put me seat up. I couldn't get it down. Went full up on to. Let's done it again. Oh God. That's dangerous. Is it just me. Just you. I think I'm just catching it. B so what's the line here around that rout and in head that way.

see the little route that's sticking out all so you want to be straight in the middle of that cor basically yeah y ready y. I think so yep I'm through it mate right yeah nice your leg out on the corner you be like my seats in a rough this like for me getting used to it. I not talking a lot here people because these are all Trails I've never rid before they're very up and down not steep but just uh there we go right keep this right if I take a wrong turn I'm not so right the at the he I'm going here we're going the right way oh you didn't see that did I wo what a difference an e b left this is this is you want to let get a bit further along this is why I wanted you in front for this bit go in front for this bit mate all right all right all right all right don't wor I'm let the bike roll now right don't break the bike carry this is where I'm feel the suspension B

on this [ __ ] woo oh sorry B we good where's Dan I thought I did all right there good well so far the bike feels balanced really nice in that typ type of thing. I feel like once I get a better shot on cuz the shocks just like bouncing us everywhere um it's going to be hello hi it's going to be uh a bit more comfortable. The shock just doesn't feel like it's doing anything really if I'm being honest apart from bouncing it over stuff but like I say it's just a rock shot 35 entry level shock so I'm still enjoying myself. I'm really enjoying how comfortable the bike feels in terms of balance and that's the main thing for me at the minute and I'm obviously do getting up the hills all right. We'll see you at the next Trail right at the top of a trail I've done before few times which one we doing first or second this one going the first one oh but there's a couple down here in

the first one are is this a here oh [__] right been a while since I've done this one let been a while since i' I'm trying not to M I'm just kind of getting used to stuff again this is why I'm saying this Fork's awful M honestly it's prop hey how did like on this kind of on this kind of Trail it feels alien to put me leg out on do it I know I'm not much concentrating on just trying to ride fast though or faster all your little things like ahead and still just same you'll carry over all the things well because you're on 29 as well I mean I was on a 29 when you Pro me it oh G no mate lost it ah big stump sorry mate oh is this a drift bit here right we're going into one here right following Dan only Dan's empty popping around it's been a while since I've been in here as well oh I like the drift pit like it's just my kind of fing Trails

this thing, my kind of trails. That's Liam behind us, I reckon. I don't know where I'm good here, Liam. Man, oh, it's been rebuilt. You were here that day I went off the B off the drop and hit the tree, weren't you, Liam? Remember, right? So Adam's bike's knackered, he hit the Dera and broke it. Um, so we're just having a little session around here, which I can now do 'cause we got a bike, which makes such a bloody difference. Just going to have a look down this one, enjoying getting used to the new bike. Not speaking a lot, folks, not going off that. Have a look down this way while them boys are having a cigarette. Oh, mud, B IDE go very muddy. Long time since I've been down this one. So the back, the back of this feels all right W, nothing that now, right. Better head back to the boys, go back down, they'll be thinking I've done a runner. Going to try go down a different one, got lost. I've been [ __ ] all hex.

of me late. Am I going? This is gone all over the place, isn't it? I don't even if I want to flip the trail. Here, this is what we call a drift pit. This is where my Nemesis used to be a drop over here. Um, where I just come down there and when I tried it for the first time, I was really worried. Got off the drop but made a mistake come down. Crash down here somewhere, but anyway, crack on, right? So that was good. I found the boys. Adam's going to have a quick go on my bike. Gives me drink. I need a drink, mate. So just leave it on that mode, mate. It's like auto mode and it's wpp. You're on auto, right? I'm having a little break. I'm loving life at the minute, really nice, but just session and stuff. And, oh my God, what a difference. Wish I'd done it earlier, but I wanted to. I just couldn't afford it at the time. I had to wait for finances to allow. Anyway, the boys are up there. Adam's on my bike and

they're going to send this line down here. These are fast boys, unlike me, right? We've had a bit of a break. Uh, we've had some technical issues today. Adam, like I said before, broke his derailleur. So hit a what was it, a rock roof STP, bit of a Stump Smash that. Uh, I've had a bit of a problem. We drop over had, hopefully it's fixed now with me and only Dan MTV, uh, going to have a down the power line, all right? Uh, going to have a blast down the power line and have a quick go some of the Steeps down there, all right? I'll see you at the bottom there. Enjoy. All right, here we go. Nice to be able to power up this hill, which I don't normally get to go up. Easy, easy up the hill. Dan's a much faster ride than ma. He's about to take off. A while since I've been down. keeping the talk to a minimum. Don't know what I put the brakes on there. [Applause] for oh this bike do feel quite nicely balanced like whoa mud right. I'm going to go this way 'cause never been down this one before different time on that all right h get out Bing me helmet like that like let's see what I'm doing what a place to put a fence ready all right. I've never hit a jump on this yet be interesting to see what the what the back does oh hang on we drop is not down that's it. [Applause] oh bit bumpy there see it's the pop right the bite like oh mistakes mistakes this is where Adam had his crash there's a great I think that one look hell honestly feel like this Fork's going to break in half does not like smashing into stuff that fork like next one wanted some steeper stuff now I'm going to follow down in is my little safety net I wouldn't guarantee on that like.

Now watch for a a straight ahead turn. he got it a I never been down here in my life so it's going to take me time. oh my God that's thin. these BS first time riding Steeps on this bike. bloody hell man. I I cannot do what right a left hand turn it's shocking. oh L all I've hit a tree mate. oh hang on I bent me seat. getting carried away you say h on I wasn't expecting it to be so. where's the trail gone. oh I need I need less wide bars. like what you Reon. this isn't ridden very much is it. no I just went right instead of going left way a sorry mate. it's bits like this that get us you know. for some reason a too slow again. what is it with these bits man. I'm stuck on the fuing bite. that no I'm in the mud. what a [ __ ]. no I'm all right man. I'm up. whoop you Boer. right I think I've done this.

Before all, he can do a left turn no bother. Where's the turn? Is that it there, right? Not quite. H where we're going. Well, I'm so slow through here. It's very off-cambered. This I have done this before, so I should be all right. Oh, it's so steep. Brakes aren't slowing us down very good here it. I've got a bit lar there. Been a while since I've done that. I feel like my brakes aren't slowing us down. Brilliant down there yet. Might just need a b better. They will do hit that mate. Right, that's the day done. Really enjoyed the new bike, riding with Liam, Adam, and Dan. Awesome. Had a bit of an off there on the bottom on the steeps, so it wasn't too bad. And the bike's really good. I can say that. I'm going to enjoy it, and I'm looking forward to riding it more. See you next time.
