pal Moana Exiles, welcome to a very special Path of Exile 1 video. This is a League start update unlike any other before. It is a build report, not only looking at my build that I started on League start, but the builds of many. In fact, about 133% of Exiles out there. Because if we take a look at Pue ninja, where I go for most of my Path of Exile one stats, you can see that 133% of players started as a gladiator on League start. Now, I decided to go for bleed lacerate, lacerate of hemorrhage specifically. If we narrow this down a bit more, we can see the following: 49% of all Gladiators on PE ninja chose to go lacerate of hemorrhaging, with 17% doing spectral Shield throw. Earthquake is a far-off third, but that showcases that almost all builds related to The Gladiator are melee builds. The only dissimilar one is spectral Shield throw, likely due to Zarin's massive video that he put out that garnered hundreds of

thousands of views on it, but I don't want to focus on that particular build in this video. I'm going to focus on my league starter, give an update not only on my progress and my journey, and showcase exactly what it really looks like going through the campaign, hitting white maps with crap gear, and progressing. I'm also going to showcase exactly how other people are building bleed lacerate of hemorrhaging Gladiator based on the data available in Path of Exile ninja. Thank you so much for your support. First, we're going to look at the top 20 or so characters here. They have some interesting names, as you can see, such as Kush Kong, Big Glad, What You Want, and Settling Gladiator LMAO. They are only level 97 and level 98. No Gladiator so far on Pue ninja has pushed.

to 99 or 100, or at least those who are deciding to go lacerate, have done so. We'll look more in depth on the top two or three in a little bit. Now moving on to the gems that are supporting lacerate or hemorrhage. If you look at the number one and two gems, they are tied both at 98%. They are brutality and melee physical damage support. Number three, Volatile Support, is just a bit lower at 95%. Then there's Cruelty at 88%, with Fortify a distant 44%. Then you can see some people are going for Multistrike to make sure that they can hit a lot faster with bleed. Perhaps they're going Crimson Dance with those builds. And then a small segment of the populous already have Awakened Brutality and Awakened Melee Physical Damage. That's quite impressive. That means they have been farming the Maven and various other endgame bosses, or they just scoop them up from trade. A very low percentage of players are fully reliant on the dot damage. Here you can see Swift.

Affliction Support, Deadly Ailment Support, and Chance to Bleed Support. Now, Chance to Bleed Support kind of sticks out to me. I'm not quite sure why anybody would go for this, and it looks like 4% of the populace has. When you can get the Chance to Bleed fully from your tree and even a little bit from your weapon. I'm not quite sure why you would choose to waste a skill gem slot on it. If I'm missing something here from some master Gladiator and Lacerate enjoyers, please let me know in the comments below. Next up, we are looking at the top passives for this particular Gladiator build, and the top two are easy. They're Determined Survivor and Gratuitous Violence, the block node and the explody node. Of course, everyone who plays Gladiator is going to take these two nodes, especially if you're going for Lacerate or Hemorrhage. Number three, we have Versatile Combatant, which essentially helps us further cap our spell block chance. Very strong. Then, Resolute Technique. Of course, you want to

go that so you're constantly hitting everything without any issue. And then we have more than scale iron reflexes. Jagged technique and then blood magic and unwavering stance. I'm surprised to see that unwavering stance is so low at 64%. This completely makes it unnecessary to go for any stun immunity stuff. And it's so much better if you're already blocking a ton of damage to just not get stunned in the slightest. I picked up unwavering stance as soon as I could near the bottom. There you can see there's battle hardened at 133% and Furious assault there at 12%. Those are both cluster Jewel passives. Some people are already Min maxing their characters and getting those cluster jewels on board. That is not where I am. I don't have any cluster Jewels. I don't have any regular Jewels. I am struggling my way through white map well not struggling. I'm working my way through white maps and into yellows clusters are very far away. I will briefly touch on more than

skill which is sitting at 94%, and that's the node on the Gladiator ascendancy that it basically gives you lucky block chance, and it's insane when you get that node. Usually after doing your fourth lab, you gain a whole new level of tankiness, and I highly recommend just rushing it as soon as possible. If you are in trade League, you're more than likely able to do Uber lab if you just pick up an offering to the goddess once you hit, you know, level 71, 72. Seriously, when you're in white Maps, you have the damage, you have the tankiness, and once you grab this, you really will not die in maps. I highly recommend rushing this. Hopping over onto the skills just very briefly here that are attached to this particular build, we see pride is at 97%, molten shell is at 89%, blood rage is at 88%, and of course you have vulnerability and a cast wind damage taken setup that is core with basically every single Mele or armor-based build. Everyone's running.

molten shell on cast with damage taken, and lots of people are using pride and vulnerability as a curse. Here, that's really nothing new, nothing really to dive into. If you are a new player though, and you don't understand this, I will highly recommend that you get this setup going. It massively improves your defenses once you get the cast when damage taken molten shell automation ongoing, and it essentially allows you to absorb a lot of massive blows. I've not yet done it on my character, and I have just been remiss in my duties entirely. I thought we could briefly look at the Mastery choices for the Gladiators of less rate of hemorrhaging on Peeeee Ninja as well. There's a lot more diversity here compared to a lot of the other pool. You see a lot of people, 92% of people, are taking the bleeding node essentially, which is massively boosting damage at the top. There, 74% are getting the plus 3% to damage over time per endurance charge, and then there's a lot of variety.

past that you know you see people getting the block chance 8% increased evasion the 12% increased Mana reservation melee hits fortify some people are getting that fortif F wheel other people aren't. It's interesting to see the differences in the skill trees here, and you can see the heat maps on Pue ninja. I have them on the screen right now. It's very interesting to see where people are traveling for this specific build before we move on over to the pantheon and Bandit choice. I thought we could just take a look at the weapon distribution for bleed lacerate of hemorrhage, and it's no surprise here. We see axe Shield is 74% of all people playing this particular skill, and that makes sense. The Shield get makes you extremely tanky. The axe is a Nob brainer with the various damage over time notes that you can take in addition to the rage generation if you're into that flat extra physical damage. And then we have axe sword at 25%. Now this is very

interesting. If you are on softcore and don't mind dying a lot, you definitely can go for this. The Shield is the far more defensive option, especially if you're using retaliate gems. Oh my goodness, that's a point that I completely forgot to bring up during the skill gem section. I didn't see any retaliate gems there, which is wild. I am actually using eviscerate and it's been going pretty well, but I can see it kind of falling off as I'm unable to scale it in later tier Maps. Very interesting too, 8% of players are using dual axes, 3% using sword and shield, and 1% using dual swords or a two-handed axe with bleed. Lass rate of hammer train. Now I scrolled and scrolled and scrolled, and then I realized I can just click on the two-handed ax and filter down to that exact player on peee ninja. And this is their build right here. And when I did so, I realized it wasn't just one player.

it was a ton of players using this. I don't know if I should try this out. I feel like I should with the easy Respec options we have in this particular patch. Maybe I will after I get my challenges all out of the way. Which, by the way, if you want a challenge guide, please let me know below. I might be doing one for all 40 challenges in a very similar Style to this video and my last video, which was a much more official news report. All right, Exiles, we had to look at it. This is the Bandit and Pantheon distribution for bleed lacerate of hemorrhage Gladiator. Now we see the bandits themselves have a decent distribution. If you completely discount Kiton, you see Aamir is at the top with that extra passive skill point at 43%. AA is number two, and Oak is number three just below AA with that extra 30 health. Kon is near the bottom, and what a shame it showcases that quite a few people do not think kryon is worth.

it even now with the changes. This is actually true if you go and filter to all pee Ninja characters. Kon is once again at the bottom, and I wouldn't be surprised if Oak follows him. 30 life is not a lot, especially when you're getting Oodles of Life off gear. Now the roles are insane, you can get like 150 maximum life on an amulet. Seriously, if it's well rolled, you don't need 30 life. Using something that could be an extra passive skill point, there's no way that you choose that. So I see a lot of people transitioning out of Oak, maybe into AA and definitely into arir by the end of the league. And then just briefly looking at the pantheon here, Brian King as usual is up on top at 74%. Then we have rikes at 30%, abrath at 22%, and then the rest are battling it out for 12 to 2%. Solaris to Shakari, there's a lot of diversity here once again.

Brian King at the top probably because people really don't like getting frozen. That is a commonality amongst all Path of Exile players. You can love ranged, you can love melee, you can love spells, you can love traps, you can love to play the game, you can love to hate the game, but everybody has one thing in common: they do not like being frozen in place, especially when clicking on a strong box. That's why a lot of people decide to go for the Brian King Pantheon. Now I thought we could look at the top two or three Gladiators currently on Pee Ninja for bleed. Last rate of hemorrhaging. What you see right now is the top character for this particular build. However, I don't want to look at this character because he has a single super powerful item that I don't think is attainable by most of the player base, especially at this point of the league and even throughout the course of the league, even if it's a six-month League like I think it will be. That's Mage blood. So we're

going to skip on by this particular character and go to character number two. I'm very sorry Kush, we're going to have to move on from you, and instead we're going to look at underscore what you want underscore. Now, this is a much more attainable character. It looks like he may have been following Zarin's build, or maybe he came to the same conclusions as Zarin because he's using those unique rings that Zizin pointed out. He's using something more attainable than a mage blood, but still quite expensive as we'll talk about near the end of this video, the costs of all these various items as they stand four or five days into the league. He's using a ristus coil, which is vital for this particular build, but is more expensive than usual because such a huge swath at the player base has decided to go for bleed Gladiator. You can see that he's at a respectable 67,000 effective Health pool with some pretty hefty Max hits in there. He's already got a cluster Jewel set up.

watcher eye his flasks are all set and automated. He's got a good axe, a good shield, and the shield. That's what I recommend the te or barbec round shields for that extra block recovery. And of course, like a good player, he chose Aamir for that extra passive skill point. One thing that is important to point out on this particular build is that he has 61% spell suppression right now. Now, this is something that I lacked on my initial tree, and it was a big mistake. It's something that I'm now remedying after looking at scissor and Karian tree. I'm trying to path to spell suppression in some way, shape, or form, or getting it from gear myself. Spell suppression, even though we have massive spell block chance and block chance, is still very important for this build, especially as you scale up to higher tier Maps. I'm looking out for that, and you should too. What you are watching now is my very first experience with this particular build in maps, but as we get into this particular scriptorium map, you will

notice that I am not actually using lacerate, and that's because I leveled this build with Sunder, and it felt phenomenal. Everyone, if you were leveling with lacerate or you were leveling with some other skill, I highly recommend if you're starting the league now or making a new character with this skill in mind, you go with Sunder. It is incredibly powerful, it feels meaty, it's weighty, it blasts down creatures, it inflicts them with heavy bleeds, and I just really recommend testing scale out. I don't think it scales as well as other skills, and there's better skills to transition into like laera of hemorrhaging, but as you're getting past the campaign and into Maps, it feels really good. Let's briefly talk about the campaign. As we're watching this footage, it was the easiest campaign run for me ever. This build is incredibly tanky from the get-go. Its damage is very high, especially if you use Sunder and build effectively, and just slowly but consistently upgrade your weapon. Monsters fall very fast.

rarely die, and it's super chill. Now, I remember I started on Hardcore as well, and I ended up losing that character after not sleeping for 25 hours, so that was my bad. But I was essentially 13 hours behind on League start. I was able to get back up to Maps. This is my first one right here that you're watching, and the build felt great. I would highly recommend people who enjoy running the campaign or maybe are new for running this build because of how easy it is and how easy it is to follow the passive skill trees. I will also recommend not my initial League Starter video but that of either Ron aray or Zizaran. You can follow Karian too, but I think Ron aray or Zizaran did a better job laying it out for True beginners, so I will have both of those linked below. I've actually taken a of Zorin choices.

but altered them a tad because I'm on soft core. I'm not going fully defensive, but I did swap out from doing Mana to blood magic. That feels great. You can see that is one of the big changes that I made initially with this character. Once you swap to blood magic, you no longer need to worry about any Mana Poots, and it feels great. You can see on this initial T1 map, I have terrible resistances. I have terrible flasks. Look, I have two life flasks still. I haven't upgraded anything. My gear is the gear that I found acts 1 through 10 in the campaign. I think I'm still wearing gloves from act one. Pretty wild, and it's still doing perfectly fine and tanking stuff in white maps, and especially if you're a new player, that feels really good being able to withstand a few big blows here and there. Now what you're watching here is my first yellow map after doing a serious upgrade and swapping to le rate of hemorrhaging away from Sunder, and my goodness does it

feel good it's strong it single Target is great the bleed explosions just feel better you can see them easier than with Sunder however. I will say the Clear on Sunder initially feels better because it's a much larger AOE with lacerate of hemorrhaging you do have to aim as you can see it's two slashes and you have to make sure that you're clicking it in the proper direction but for people who enjoy melee this really does feel like a true melee build. Yes the skill extends out but you still have to aim it as you can see here just with the Jack the axe upgrade I'm blasting through stuff when I bought it it was around 22 chaos orbs and I was very lucky I had three Divine drops in a row in the span of an hour I couldn't believe it and I had to give one away to Silver XYZ so I only really had two but I was able to upgrade my gear pretty massively just with the Jack the a I invested everything else into automating flasks.

which you will see in the final update to this build. It's where I am right now. Now we're going to look at that, and then we're going to get into some tips, tricks about bleed, last rate of hemorrhaging, and my final thoughts on the matter, whether or not you should play this right now, or if you're just starting the league, you should begin as it. This right here is me now with my flask setup, with my six-link, with my best support gems at hand. Don't have the full defensive setup. Good to go. Don't have curses and not using my banner or anything just like that. I'm just chilling, clearing my first few larger maps. You can see the problems that I outlined before. You know the clear isn't the best, the single target is really great, the pops very cool, but it's not as meaty, it's not as AOE pleasing as Slams are, and you can see that right here. I'm also very tanky as you can see. I don't press my health potion a single time. My health barely

even drops either it's a very smooth feeling, but it's very different than a lot of builds that I've played in the past. Where I'm constantly blowing up everything on screen with lacerate, you really have to aim, okay, and you have to be cognizant of where you're clicking your cursor. It's not like a lot of other abilities that played like volcanic fissure or snaking, which is what I played last League. That was the complete opposite. I could put my cursor wherever I wanted it to go, and I could basically destroy the entire map. This is a very different play style, but that's why I play Poe for different play Styles every single league. But I just want you to know as we're getting into the final part of this video what exactly this build really entails, and if it is something that you actually want to pursue. I presume this will look pretty much the same when I get into red Maps, except they'll be farming content that it's designed for lots of densely packed

together mobs where the bleed explosions will be big. Right now, these maps are not densely packed, so that's why it looks a little janky. There's not a ton of mobs, they're not really close together. The layouts that I'm choosing presently as I'm progressing aren't my preferred layouts. In the future, it's likely going to look a lot better. This right here is my first Maven invitation too. It was super smooth, didn't feel in danger at all. The bosses are dropping Crazy Fast, no problems here in the slightest. Before we get into the tips, just really quickly, the two uniques that you really want with this build, as far as I see it, are Jack the Axe and Wyrmsob's Coil. You can make everything else work with rares, and eventually you're going to want to change your Jack the Axe into a better rare. But looking at the market right now, Jack the Axe is worth about 12 chaos orbs, which is very, very affordable. And it's a weapon that can get you all the way to your first two Void Stones.

almost said watch Stones there. That's from a distant era. The second is Ratha's Coil, and I have some bad news for you because it is 10 Divine orbs. This has shot up day by day by day as more bleed lacerate of hamr and Gladiators get to the late game and try to pick up this item. Currently, its trade inflation is about 600% over the last 7 days, which is wild, and there's only about 200 listed so these are being picked up pretty dang fast. I'd recommend if you want to play this build to not plan on getting one of these very quickly, which is fine, you don't need one, it just makes the build far more powerful, but that's what Path of Exile is all about, right? Consistently upgrading your build's power and really feeling that power transition from one phase to the next as you're able to progress from whites to yellows to Reds to purples and all the bosses in between, and of course you also need the gem.

transfigured gem bleed lacerate of hemorrhage now right now lacerate of hemorrhage is around 90 chaos orbs, but you do not need to spend your money buying it. Seriously, just run the merciless lab a few times. You're bound to get that enchantment that allows you to swap a gem, a lacerate gem, into one of its transfigured types. I ran it twice, got it even when I was doing my hardcore character. I got bleed lacerate of hemorrhaging on the third attempt. Do not pay 90 plus chaos orbs for this. Just run the merciless Labyrinth, that's the third lab, a few times. You're bound to get that outcome. And just make sure you have a lacerate gem handy, and you can swap it over to either lacerate of hemorrhaging or the other version. You're bound to get it after a few attempts. I swear, as someone who has been gambling in the black market and getting good results, I can highly recommend this to you now.

here are a few rapid-fire tips. If you cannot farm Jack, the Axe, and the chaos needed for it, just farm The Syndicate for a nice bleed axe. Unveil it's a large percentage of increased physical damage with a chance to bleed. You're bound to get it pretty quickly. If you are having trouble with clear, make sure you use Eviscerate in your build in some way. Link it with Expert Retaliation support, MIM support, and something like chance to bleed. It's quite strong, and it'll help get bleeding on your foes. In addition, with this build, be careful of damage over time. That is its real bane. You are able to evade most – well, not evade – you're able to block most spell and regular attack damage hits. Damage over time is where you really falter. Then, as I said earlier in the video, go for Teground shields for block recovery. That's what you really want to focus on. You don't need increased block effectiveness. You don't need maximum life. What you want is your block to recover as quickly as

possible and te ground Shields and that upgrade path is how you're going to do it. So was this starter busted everyone? I'm going to have to say yes. It's fun being basically Immortal. It's cool, and I've never really been that as melee in Path of Exile. And with this build, even though the damage might be on a little bit of the low end, especially at the start with the bleeding and the ramp and everything, being Immortal is awesome. And I would highly recommend playing it. Like I said, bleed deals slow damage initially, and it ramps a little bit. The pops are satisfying, but it's not something as essentially satisfying as a huge slam. Okay, eventually we're going to get there with the damage, but as I'm going from whites to yellows and eventually to Reds, it's going to be a little bit slower than just blowing up the screen with an earthquake or even an upgraded Sunder. With that, the AOE on regular map clearing isn't the greatest, but when you have densely packed mobs in certain map

layouts, or even League mechanics like Blight or Harvest. You destroy everything, even the League mechanic, the Settlers of Calgar mechanic. You destroy all those mobs, but the damage, even on bosses, is pretty respectable in my opinion. So, my fellow Exiles, I'm going to use this build to push to T7s and hopefully Ubers. I hope I convinced you, or kind of told you, you would like it with this big rundown of the report on it on Pee Ninja and my experiences of it for the first little bit of the league.
